I was shopping for a good deal, without compromising quality, during the huge Labor Day blowout that everyone was offering. I realize it is the job of the marketing department to lure you in, and the sales persons job to hook you. I understand. But what I will not tolerate, is outright lying. I had an idea of what I wanted. I had two excellent offers on the table, one was Costco online $ 2400, Ashley’s $ 2800(ten year warrantee). They told me how low the quality was for these competitors, and that they are mattress experts, because this is all they do. THREE salespersons had to confer with one another constantly to get a single answer to any question. After every response was another slam on the completion. I asked about the Leggett and Platt, S Cape and Prodigy, and they told me that it wasn’t a good product, and they pulled Prodigy off the floor, because they were so bad. They asked me what I currently had. I told them I had a Laura Ashley bed, one guy told the next, yeah, that’s all foam. I said I don’t think so. Then they told me how bad my all foam bed was. My Laura Ashley bed was made by King Koil, and it is pocketed spring. These guys will say anything. If the Three Stooges ran a used car dealership… well I think you get the idea.

Steer clear of this outfit. Classic bait and switch and awful customer service. Was told I would get a five year finance, then the bill showed up and it was three. I’ve had to call back several times over the last three weeks to try and get it fixed, while I have received just one call from these folks with any update. «We had to email HR. We had to email accounting.» I stopped in to the store today trying to get an update and some regional manager was there. He claimed he was just looking into it as I walked in, which I found odd as the problem has been unresolved for nearly three weeks. He then offered me two pillows to call it even? So tell me one price, charge another and then offer me two of your $ 4 pillows that you sell for $ 100 and expect me to go away? The good thing is you can return the mattress and get a full refund. And a good Unilocal review goes better with a letter to the Better Business Bureau and state Attorney General…
