Mattress Firm Watauga North

This is the second time we’ve been here in a month to purchase a mattress. We’ve received great service from Daniel Wood!

Really disappointed in our visit here. The salesman was nice enough but wasn’t too excited about his job. The product was really impressive which is why I gave any stars at all. My husband and I are hagglers and always like to walk away with the best possible deal. We were able to haggle with our salesperson a little bit. He was hard to budge but we got him down a bit and even got him to throw in a couple pillows. We were satisfied with the deal made. Once terms were settled he told us that he would have to check with his manager to be sure it was okay. Had we known that he couldn’t deliver on his promises before, we would have just gone straight to the manager! Anyhow, the manager declined over the phone and the guy basically just said sorry and let us walk out. He couldn’t care less about the sale and even told us during our haggling that he was paid by commission so he wouldn’t be able to come down on price a whole lot. He also told us that there were no «ma and pop» stores in the area because Mattress Firm drove them all out. We will never step foot in another Mattress Firm again. We bought the same mattress for half the price online at
and I highly recommend checking them out before visiting this horrible store. Much better prices and customer service!
