I really dislike ice cream. I don’t like how heavy it is and find froyo world a great alternative for things that I normally won’t eat. The toppings could use some work. There are toppings that I find to be quite popular at places like pink berry, peachwave, and swirls that froyo world doesn’t have. For instance more nut options. I love peanuts and almonds and don’t care for walnuts. I understand peanut allergies so I can see why there aren’t peanuts– but two types of walnuts is a little unnecessary in my opinion. My favorite part is the rewards card that doesn’t expire. You get 10% back on whatever you spend. If you save them up you can get free froyo. Overall: clean and delicious.

Enjoyed a delicious cup of Blackberry and Vanilla Bean this afternoon. Full fruit and vanilla flavors, yum! This store is clean, bright with a large selection of toppings that all look very fresh. Friendly staff too. Will definitely return.

This place had decent frozen yogurt. It wasn’t nearly as good as peach wave but it was decent. The toppings were not nearly as good either. It was also very expensive. Totally not worth the cost. Mine was $ 6.00 for a small cup. I won’t return even on the hottest of days.

In my opinion, Froyo World sets the standard for self-serve frozen yogurt shops in terms of taste, quality, variety, cleanliness, service, and price. After living in Atlanta for a while, Froyo World has surely been missed. Froyo World has the best tasting frozen yogurt. It always has the right balance of sweetness, texture, and flavor. Planet Swirl comes in a close 2nd place. This Froyo place has around 12 flavors to choose from, and while there are places with more options, they don’t match Froyo World’s quality. Froyo World also offers tons of toppings from waffle cone pieces to sprinkles to cereals to nuts and chocolate pieces, etc. They also offer waffle bowls for an additional 50 cents. In terms of service, you are always greeted with a smile and hello. Definitely a must try if you are in search of good froyo!

On a recent visit the flavors available were cinnamon sugar cookie, vanilla, og chocolate, og tart, strawberry tart, peanut butter, cake batter, key lime sorbet, and one more i wasn’t interested in so I don’t recall. I got a bunch of flavors because I’m indecisive and everything looked good. Some of them were a little watery but they all had good to great flavor. Excellent toppings bar. One section has cereal toppings like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, and in the same area you can get Oreo crumbs and crushed graham cracker and other cookie + cake toppings. Cheesecake bites, candy pieces, fruit are also available in another section. Past that there is a hot fudge dispenser, whipped cream, a million bottles of different syrups like caramel, chocolate, strawberry sauce, butterscotch, and my favorite NUTELLA!!! So delicious. Price is similar to other frozen yogurt places 49cents/oz. I got a 15% off coupon with my receipt for the following two days when I went. Free wifi, bright open space, fun colors, adorable spoons and cups, clean. I’m a fan.

A few things will bring you here. First, I love the touchscreens. Most Frozen Yogurt places started listing nutritional facts with their yogurts, FroyoWorld on Westmain has Touch screens that you can swipe. These display nutritional facts as well as allergies. The Food intolerance was a bit tough because one of them said Gluten Free, but others did not; however, some of the others did not have a trace of wheat, barley, or rye in them so it was hard to determine whether or not they were or were not GF. The rewards card is my favorite among st all programs so far. The card builds a cash value(currently 10% of what you spend each purchase that you use the card) and then you can use the amount towards a purchase. This to me is better than a punch card because you are actually being rewarded for every penny you spend rather than how many visits you make or how many people you are with. The only complaint I would have is that much like many other frozen yogurt shops, the selection seemed a little limited. I felt that many others I had visited had 4 – 8 more machines/choices. This isn’t enough to stop anyone from going, but if you are looking for variety, this may not be your first choice. Lastly, in the winter time there is not a lot of seating inside, but again a lot of these places are similar so it is unfair to single this out among st competitors. Also, there aren’t a lot of customers swarming in during the winter either so I lucked out many of my visits. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you visit FroyoWorld, it is healthy, it is affordable, and it is right off the highway.

I’m glad that we finally have a good frozen yogurt place in Waterbury now, so we don’t have to make the long drive to Pinkberry when my wife gets hungry for this stuff. This place is pretty cool in it’s own right. It has lots of self serve frozen yogurt selections, and a bunch of fresh toppings to choose from. Very tasty stuff, and much cheaper than Pinkberry. The staff is very helpful as well. If you’re not sure that you’re going like something, they offer free samples to help you make a decision. Our baby got a free sample too, and I think that she’s a fan. :)

So I had never been here before but tried it out with YL, and oh my, good thing I don’t live too close or I would eat here all the time!!! I love the self serve concept, the mix of different flavors, the toppings including my all time favorite gummy bears, and the separate fruit bar area! It was truly a delicious treat, the place was super clean, lots of places to sit, including outside! I will definitely be coming back here!

I really like it there but there is lot of space left there so i think they should put some sofas. My daughter loves it.

I tried out the Peachwave in Waterbury(across town, on the Cheshire border) about a week before this place. I like this place sooo much better. The concept is the same but this one has better fro-yo(mainly because they actually have a couple flavors that actually taste like yogurt and not sweet ice cream like Peachwave). *The service is also friendlier!* When I was at Peachwave, they didn’t want to give me a cup to try flavors that were new to me, at Fro-Yo World, they had someone at the front waiting for people so that they could offer cups for people to try the flavors! Any half-way decent ice cream parlor knows to offer samples so that customers rave about the product and yet Peachwave was seriously being stingy. The fruit toppings were fresh. The cruchy toppings have the potential to get really annoying because they are set up at a counter and stacked so that one person(and maybe a second) can comfortably get their toppings at a time. The bottom line: If you are deciding between Peachwave and Fro-Yo World, come here! If you want a tart, cold treat, come here! If you want a sweet, cold treat, go to an ice cream parlor!

Been back many times since my initial review. Many of my fellow Unilocalers and I really like this FroYo joint more than the others in the area. The staff is very friendly and greets all guests who walk through the door. New addition to CVS plaza in Waterbury. Friendly staff. Pefect timing with summer upon us.
