I was there for an apartment that I had at 11am. Didn’t see anybody until 11:50am and that wasn’t even the dr. I was supposed to get. So had to wait another 20 minutes until I saw my doctor and before he comes in I hear him say ‘can I eat now’ when some nurse tells him ‘there is one patient waiting for you. Can you check on him quick before lunch?’
With a moaning he comes in and checks me for not even 5 min and said that was it. Didn’t even take his time to fully check on me.
The only good thing with this place is the nurse (Favi or Fabi) that I saw before the dr. She was one of a kind. Really sweet. Not even the front desk ladies couldn’t give me a simple smile.

Keeping in mind that I visited here on a Sunday but I was in with the nurse in less than 10 minutes and aw the doctor 5 minutes later. I discussed the medical matter with the doctor, got a shot and a prescription, and was out the door less than 30 minutes after I arrived. I had been going to the Salinas Family Practice in Salinas and by way of comparison the Doctors on Duty people were as good and the paperwork as a new patient took far less time than it did with Salinas Family Practice where I had been going for years. Recommend downloading and filling out the necessary forms from the
website in advance. It is easier to do at home and it will save you time at the office. They took my forms that I had completed in this manner with no problems at all.

Just went into doctors on duty on main street for a shot for infection in my foot and saw Dr. Steve what a nice guy and Teresa nurse fixed up my toe and she’s wonderful to definitely go see him

Dr. Tye DePena, PA Rebecca and lab technician Olivia provided outstanding care at Doctors on Duty in Watsonville on 11/​23/​2015 for an employee physicals that I received. I will return anytime to this location for medical care because I have confidence in the medical professionals by the way they treated me with care, efficiency and knowledge. I wish my primary care physician was even half as invested.

We can never get in to our regular doctors when we are sick or have a minor emergency so this place has been amazing! They are fast and professional. All the doctors in this office are top notch and they follow up with all your needs when you are done. Our family has used them for the last two years for a dog bite, poison oak twice, second degree burns, hip injury, and many more life events that require a good doctor’s assistance for healing. I highly recommend them and an appointment is advised but they will never turn you away as a walk in.

I am a fan! I came in on the Labor Day holiday after calling Watsonville ER and learning it was very busy. I had a bad glass gash on my hand and was taken in soon after my arrival. Dr dePena gave me eight stitches, and sent me home with helpful advice and cleaning helps. …all in 33 minutes!

After my previous review, I was contacted by the manager to try to make right by my last horrible visit. The reach out to make things better was a nice gesture, and I appreciate the means she took to make things right, even after I missed many of her calls and sent a couple of not-​so-​understanding emails (have I mentioned I have anger issues?). Anyway, all in all, thank you very much for making an effort to rectify a bad situation, I sincerely appreciate it!

I guess I’ll call it A-​OK. On the one hand, the reception and nursing staff were really nice and got me in moving quickly. On the other, the doctor spent like 15 minutes outside my room talking to some lady about basically nothing. Sure, he is making her patient experience a good one, but I have places to go, man. Then he came in and saw me for about 10 seconds, not saying anything. I couldn’t see what was going on outside of my room, but I’m pretty sure he was just flirting. In any case, I got the physical I needed and was on my way in about an hour… though it could have easily only taken more like 30 — 45 minutes…
Great experience, minus the doctor’s lolly gagging.
