Super good Vegetarian burritos! Their salsa is really good, the right amount of flavor and spice. The time that you get your food in is very fast, it is also priced very well! Overall a great place. Pros: * great burritos * everything fresh * low cost * always open

This pace is AMAZING! Every time I am in Watsonville I stop by here and get 2 pork tamales, 1 chicken and 1 jalapeño and cheese! YUM!

Luscious. Fluffy. Masa. Yeah, that’s right. Your forkful, smeared with a little hot sauce and perhaps some of the crema, is a bite of heaven. My favorite dishes are the pork, and the chicken with green sauce, but a few times I’ve ordered the elote. OMG. Corn on corn action, so wrong, it’s right! Not for the carb-avoiding mind you. The tacos are mighty tasty as well. You can get really great tacos in different places around Santa Cruz County, but, THIS is THE place for tamales. SERIOUSLY.

Great selection of fresh tamales. I think they have about 12 different kinds. I once ordered one of each to try them all.

They are super friendly here and the tamales are delicious. We stopped here with our family that had just flown in from the Midwest and they loved it. Another patron helped pushed tables together for our large family, seriously friendly people here.

Delicious little tamale place! Always steaming hot with great sides, good flavor, and warm smiles. Not the BEST tamales I’ve ever had, but very good for the price! Note this is a very small space, so you’re best off taking to-go if you have a large group

We have been there 3 or 4 times in the past 3 months. Love the food. A few days ago we went in and had lunch. I forgot and left my fanny pack/bag on the floor under the table. We called an hour or so later and it was there! We returned and got it back with everything inside. The owner was on duty. I was MUCH relieved.

Small. Maybe two tables and a counter with three stools. So it’s designed for takeout. Tamales are superb and as of this post $ 2 each or a dozen for $ 22. I’ll return when in the area.

Very tasty tamales here. I’ve had better… but the people there are quite nice and their product is fresh and tasty. I found the pork a little dry in my one tamale… and the chicken kind of bland in the other. Prices were fair, portions good.

In from out of town decided to walk here from Best a Western great reviews !! Unfortunately the customer service from the gal behind the counter SUCK! I spoke English and Spanish to her it didn’t make a difference. Very inappropriate no smiles or welcome. I believe in great customer service to all customers. I ate quick to leave she made the entire experience uncomfortable. The two older men eating menudo acknowledge me as a person then she did . Tamales amazing you need to try them if your in the area. If I could write this review in Spanish I would of, so the owners can be aware of what it representing there restaurant . Please feel free to contact me I held back only because my two girls were with me. Oh yea horchata off the hook !! The little blue eye girl provided me with a sweet smile

Good tamales are hard to find but the best is at The Tamale Factory. They are good size and the fillings are flavorful. Prices are reasonable. It helps if you have at least a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish but English only speakers will do fine.

Tamales reales! Great service, tamales are good. I went today and got green chiken, pulled pork and rajas. They are all good but my favorite was green pulled pork!

Came here because I heard lots of great things about their tamales and they were right! They are really good! One thing I was disappointed in was that they said the sweet tamale had pineapple and instead there was raisins. The worst part was that the people there were very rude. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

Absolutely the worst tamale I have ever eaten. All it is is masa with the meat and sauce missing. I won’t make that mistake again. La Colmina has much better tamales!

A great«hole in the wall» joint. My family and I enjoy their Pollo and Puerco tamales. The masa is tasty and light. They also have a great burrito, made with one of the best flour tortillas I have had, not to mention the filling. Be aware of their hot salsa, it’s good but has a bite!

This place is great!(Especially if you are among the 15% of Watsonville who does not have a grandmother who makes«the best tamales in the world.») The tamales are fresh, moist, and generously filled. The employees do not speak any English, but are more than gracious about figuring out what you want. Come in for lunch or order a platter to cater your party. Unlike most restaurants(understuffed, dry, mostly cornmeal), these tamales don’t disappoint. The very small dining room lacks atmosphere and is hot from the kitchen… but hey, it’s a hole in the wall tamale shop… what do you want?! Oh! And they received recognition from the health inspector for cleanliness. That’s important.

I have been here several times before. Tamales are good… Must try… I also love their atole, it’s a chocolate drink, yum! The gentlemen who helped me was very helpful… Great customer service! Oh, they don’t take AMEXCC…
