Food is pretty good. Decent for a crappy Chinese place in Waukegan. Fairly priced also. They have cheap combos that come with rice and an eggroll. And you get 4 free crab rangoons if you spend $ 25. The only problem is it takes forever. When you order online it tells you 30 – 50 minutes. However, it ALWAYS takes over an hour to arrive. Food is good, just wish it didn’t take so long to get here.

Decent waiter, or basically the waiter is also the person who took our order. Came here during labor day, since not many restaurants are open. But of course, you can always count on a chinese joint being open: P The only thing this place has going for itself is LARGE portions, and pretty cheap prices. The rest are all mehh. My veggie mai fun gave me acid reflux. jumbo shrimp and broccoli, though jumbo, was a terrible flavor, i am just not sure if this dish is supposed to be salty or sweet. egg drop soup was bad… just bad. I hate it when my soup is all watery. free spring roll or crab ragoon after you spend $ 20, but the crab ragoon tasted terrible. also got veggie fried rice instead of regular rice on the side for the jumbo shrimp with broccoli, the fried rice looked like they were soaked in soy sauce. i guess technically you don’t have to pay tips here. but still, this place has nothing going for it except for portion. will not be back. also, i highly think they use pig fat or something instead of vegetable/peanut/canola oil.

When it comes to fast-food Chinese food restaurants in Chicago, it’s no New York. It’s hard to find a Chinese food place in Chicago that doesn’t serve you greasy, sugary, fatty dishes that are overpriced for their quality. That’s why I was so happy to find this place near my job in Waukegan. It started out with desperation for lunch. I ordered delivery and they had it there quickly, before my actual lunch hour. The food was hot and surprised me with it’s quality compared to it’s price. I wish there were a place like this in Chicago. You can get a lunch combo with an egg roll or soda, fried rice, and an entrée for six bucks after taxes. And their food may not be five star restaurant quality, but it is better than most fast-food Chinese places. The chicken is tender and not overcooked or greasy. The sauces aren’t too oily or greasy. The service is okay. Friendly but not attentive. I haven’t had issues with delivery around lunch time. The pictures are the same pictures that most fast-food Chinese restaurants use, and if you have ever been in one you’d know that they don’t actually take pictures of their food. Still, take a look at my pic of my food and tell me that doesn’t look appetizing. Also, some people complain of the restaurant’s appearance. It isn’t fancy, it’s a quick service restaurant that is at least clean and has plenty of seating. Parking in the back! I recommend this place for a quick, cheap, tasty lunch that won’t have you feeling crappy like more expensive options *cough* McDonalds *cough*

I ordered moo shu Beef but I looked more like moo shu vegetable soup. Also ordered the fried dumplings and they were a little over done. My wife ordered the gen sow chicken combo and her rice was dry. The only thing that gives this 2 stars is the price and service time.
