Very, very slow service. Pretty disappointed. I’ve an out for one antibiotic, that was sent to the pharmacy prior to be coming. :(

I go this Walgreen’s because it’s convenient to work. It’s certainly not for the high quality service! I’m not sure it’s possible to find a helpful employee at this Walgreen’s, or one who is smiling for that matter. There seems to be a corporate culture at this location that breeds bad service and unhappiness. Just one example: I called to check on the status of a prescription. I was told the person who answered couldn’t help but that he would find someone who could. He never came back to the phone! When I tried to call back, the phone just rang and rang and no one ever picked up! I should say that this review is limited to this particular Walgreen’s location. There are other locations where the employees are always friendly and helpful. The employees at this location, however, could use an attitude makeover.

Went to the pharmacy to get a prescription for my boyfriend filled. We were told it would be about 20 minutes to get the prescription filled and decided we would just come back later. The person behind the counter told us they could have it filled within an hour. We left and came back, well after an hour, and decided to go through the pharmacy drive-thru. Big mistake. We waited for ½ an hour just to PICKUP the prescription we dropped off earlier. After confirming my boyfriend’s address 4 times, and asking if it was a new prescription 3 times, we finally paid and left. The whole time we were sitting in the drive-thru, the same person was standing at the counter inside being helped. The FOUR people working behind the pharmacy counter managed to help 2 people in ½ an hour. And Walgreen’s has the nerve to call me and ask me why I left their pharmacy and if I would be interested in coming back. No thank you.

I love being told to wait 20 min while my prescription gets filled only to be told it’s not in stock.

Picking up another prescription for my Bronchitis. Hopefully I will be 100% soon. Anyway this is my third choice pharmacy. They are always good and fast. Many convenient locations all over. But my insurance require I use theirs. Unless I need it right away. Because all they have is Home Delivery. Kind of useless when it is needed immediately.

Excellent pharmacy staff, knowledgable about how insurance works. They are 24 hours which is very convenient. Accurate estimated wait times as well. The drivethru is a big bonus.

I am in town for a workshop and needed some stuff. This Walgreens is in a busy intersection, but it has everything I need. If you’re not use to driving in the big city, you might want to pass on this one simply because the intersection is a bit chaotic.

This Walgreens has a culture of bad service, no answers, delays, and a horrible pharmacy staff. I have never been so unimpressed and disappointed with a Walgreens. Go elsewhere, anywhere else.

One star for Walgreen’s? What is so wrong with this particular Walgreen’s that it deserves one star, you might ask? First of all — trying to get into this location from Hwy 100 is a pain in the ass. You’re better off entering off of the North Ave. entryway. I’m always a little leery of coming here at night(and yes, my decision is solely based off of the Wauwatosa Police Report, if you were wondering.) My advice is to park under a street light and make sure lock your doors! Many times I’ll stop in because I have a particular coupon, only to find they are out of stock. Shelves are often times messy and often disorganized. The last straw came a few weeks ago. My husband and I stopped here after running a few errands. We did have a few coupons to use. First of all, the cashier seemed to be on something. Every time we go there and see this kid, he just looks high and says weird, off the cuff stuff. He was talking about some odd topic with the customer in front of us, and it took a few minutes until we could finally get to check out! Hello… if customers are waiting, that should be your first clue to get it moving. Finally — it came time to check out. He told me the coupon I was using for gum wasn’t that great of a deal, and I could get a better deal if I bought the packs of gum separately. I declined, because we were in a hurry — but he insisted it was cheaper.(By the way — it wasn’t). I got out of line, checked out the gum in the candy aisle(they were sold out of the one I wanted to get anyway). Came back into line, and basically told him it was NOT a better deal. After all the hemming and hawing, he forgot to ring up my coupons. I basically spent double the money I would have normally spent. Normally it wasn’t a big deal, but the kid really looked like he was out of it and seemed completely clueless about life. I didn’t want to waste any more time there than I had to. Incidentally, this is also the kid I’ve heard speaking to customers in line about some questionable topics. It makes for an uncomfortable few minutes in line, so we’re just going to skip coming here in general.
