Marco’s Pizza

Horrible service. My daughter and I went inside after renting some movies because the movie place gave us a coupon. We ordered our pizza and sat and waited and waited. We were the only people inside so I finally decided to ask if the pizza was ready after 45 minutes of waiting. We find out the pizza had been ready but the staff was too busy playing around to take care of us and let us know it was ready. The pizza was not good. It tasted like old pizza at a buffet. We will not be back.

Great pizza! My favorite is the chicken florentine! Their ingredients taste fresh and the staff is friendly. They cheese bread is awesome as well!

Absolutely horrible experience! We ordered around 6:15 pm on a Saturday night. They quoted a 40 – 45 min wait for delivery. It being Saturday that isn’t out of the ordinary for pizza delivery. We waited over an hour and my husband finally called the store back to check on our order. They put him on hold for 5 min and during that time the delivery guy showed up. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and I ordered a small Garden Salad, which I asked them to add mushrooms to.
The delivery guy pulled my salad out of the hot pizza bag along with our pizza. The ranch dressing felt like it had been microwaved and the cheese on the salad was melted. The mushrooms… disgusting. They looked like slices of dead skin on my salad.
Next he told me that he’d forgotten the drinks that we’d ordered but he’d go back to the store to get them. That was 30 minutes ago. I don’t think we’ll be getting them. So we got charged for two 20oz drinks that we won’t be getting.
The pizza was subpar, as pizza goes. Tasted like CiCi’s to me. After I put my salad in the fridge and the dressing in the freezer for a few minutes, I tried to eat it. Tried. It tasted like it had been in a refrigerator for a week.
The only reason we ordered from them was because we’d gotten a flyer on our door from them earlier in the week.
I wouldn’t waste your time. I’ll stick with Domino’s. They’re cheaper and taste 100% better.
Update: After 45 minutes of waiting my husband got fed up and called the store asking about our drinks. They said they would have them delivered in 10 – 15 min. He also explained that my salad was put in the hot bag with the pizza and they offered a new salad. After how terrible the first one tasted, we declined. The young man who delivered our pizza the first time returned with our drinks and a new salad. We took the drinks but, again, refused the salad.
My issue is that I feel like if we hadn’t ever called back they would have just charged us for the drinks and never come back. $ 4-​$ 5 isn’t a lot of money but it’s enough that I want what I ordered and what I paid for.
If you can’t offer competent, timely delivery then only offer carry out to customers.

Would have loved to try this place as they came to my attention with high praise.
By the time I was finished with interrogation on my phone number, (Given twice and available on caller ID) and help with hotel location, (I’m not from Waxahatchie) I forgot my order and soon was perplexed why I called.
Maybe next time… Or not.
Second attempt 15 minutes later with different team member, no luck.
Update: Was contacted next day by owner via e-​mail notifications through Unilocal.Very sincere and professional, so I have to give credit where credit is due.
Hopefully I can make it back through soon and give it the 5 stars i understand it deserves.

Fantastic food and you can check calorie values on line. I was able to order exactly what I wanted however the where asleep at the salad making. They added bell peppers in such small chunks I couldn’t remove. But hey what’s a little gas with breadsticks. The best breadsticks. And salads are hard to find in Waxahachie. What’s with the iceberg lettuce. Go for the spinach. This is my 4 time and I’ll be back

Breadsticks are the best I have had, pizza also very good. We were traveling, so had never heard of this place. Just really good.

Best pizza I’ve found in town and being from NY I’m picky about my pizza. Haven’t tried their sides but the pizza is fairly priced and they have a lot of coupons. You get a free movie rental from Family Video with the purchase of a large pizza which makes for a nice home date night or family night.

Best pizza in waxahachie. Love the meat supremo and the bread sticks!!! Still have to try everything else but I’m sure everything is delicious as well.

Wow! Best pizza in Waxahachie/​Red Oak area. Get the Deluxe Uno, switch sausage for hamburger! Small dining area, friendly staff. Partnership with video store next door.
