It’s like the bootleg cicis, no pizza on the bar and if there is that stuff is old. They act like they don’t want to make pizza’s for you. Then it’s $ 26 for the wife and kids(4 people). Cicis will get my business from now on.

I travel for work, so I eat out a lot. I tried another local pizza place about a week ago, but wasn’t impressed, so I decided to give pizza inn a shot, despite the less than great reviews. I was really glad I did. I ordered the pizza rolls and the cheesy garlic bread. They were both delivered way before the estimated delivery time, everything was hot and very tasty. The delivery guy was short but courteous, and I have no complaints about this business. The pizza rolls were probably the best I’ve ever had to be completely honest. I feel like the negative reviews have to do with waiting for the buffet, but there was no waiting for delivery! :) Really happy I found a good place for pizza in Waxahachie and I didn’t have to settle for the big brands, like Pizza Hut or dominoes. *they also have an online ordering system, which is very convenient and easy to use.

You had one thing to do. Just one. Yet you couldn’t even get that right. You see, Pizza Inn has a pretty decent buffet, and if I were evaluating them solely on food this rating would be a good bit higher. Unfortunately for them, I have to take service into the equation … or the lack thereof. I sit down with my salad, I’m asked by a young man what I’d like to drink. His sole task in order to earn a tip is to what? Keep the cup full without my having to ask. Seems simple enough. It’s not like enrolling for ObamaCare or solving a sudoku puzzle in the New York Times. Five minutes pass, no cup. Finally he comes back and says«Sorry I got distracted … what did you want to drink again?» I couldn’t even make eye contact because I knew what I would say would have been overheard by the 18 senior citizens who took this place over as their new turf right as I walked in. He finally comes with my drink, and then … wait for it … wait for it … wait a little longer … he never comes back! Now this may be a great way to institute a subliminal portion control system, since I won’t keep eating if I don’t have something to drink. But it fails on the most basic level of customer service, and I’d give you –2 stars if Unilocal would let me. If you go here, you should probably sneak in your own drink. Or perhaps a flask, since if you’ve had a long day your tolerance of this joke of a wait staff will be even less than mine.

We went to Pizza Inn our first time on a Thursday night. It was decently busy. We weren’t sure what to expect. Let me start here: SERVICE: The service was excellent. I don’t know who my waitress was but she was perhaps the best waitress I’ve ever had at any restaurants she was helpful, courteous, and made my wife and baby feel welcome and relaxed. The guy at the front checking us out was very courteous as well. FOOD: The pizza selection that was available at the buffet was ok. There were 5 different kinds when we arrived. Our waitress helped us get the two kinds of pizza we wanted ordered and we got that quickly. The pizza was actually pretty good. The crust was crispy and there was plenty of sauce. The salad bar was also actually pretty good. I wasn’t expecting much but they had a good selection of add-ons and the ranch dressing actually tasted homemade and not from a cheap bottle(try the ranch with the buffalo chicken pizza!). I was disappointed by the pasta bar. There was no pasta available when we arrived or when we left. We were looking forward to that since our baby loves pasta. The desert pizza was very good(especially the chocolate chip!) but make sure you get it quickly because it goes fast. OVERALL: I base 4 stars based on experience and expectation. This is a pizza buffet so I rated it comparatively, as such. I give 2 stars for the service, plus 1 star for the pizza and salad bar quality, 1 star for the ranch(yes, I hate when the ranch is bad at a pizza place) and 1 star for the desert pizza. I’ll subtract a star for the lack of pasta.

In waxahachie today for business and decided to stop in at Pizza Inn. It was quite depressing today. Only had 4 pizzas on the buffet when I walked in, all weird flavors no basics. The salad bar had no lettuce. The lady at the front assured me that the oven was loaded and more lettuce was coming out. Pretty frustrating. Then every time they did get a pizza out it disappeared because there were so many people in the dining room just waiting for anything. Very frustrating! Won’t be back!

Not impressed. I like pizza inn, but during the time I was there the selection was limited to 3 pizzas. Don’t go unless it’s busy enough to keep the pizza selection hot and fresh

One of the better pizza inns around. Aside from what’s on the bar they will make your own pizza creation as well. The inside is clean and well kept.

Basically same as CiCi’s Pizza, but more expensive. Good buffalo chicken pizza, but otherwise I wish we had spent all that money somewhere else. Thought it was more a specialty pizza place, not a low quality pizza buffet. Service was great, although you could certainly tell they were all new kids and learning the ropes. Most likely won’t be going back.
