I have tried this place once when I was in high school and it was only the three of us. The place has a very tight spot and little tables to sit at. Not only was the staff slow on our orders, they just stood in the back and chatted the whole 30 minutes us, and other customers were there.

If your looking for good Greek gyro I would definitely recommend zorbas. I usually order the lamb gyro which comes with slices of tender lamb, tomato, lettuce, and onion all wrapped in a soft and tender pita bread, topped with packing favor yogurt sauce. Get the sauce in it and on the side so every part of the gyro you eat is filled with favor.

Cannot believe the audacity of this place to charge $ 24 for a seafood salad that is basically a greek salad with about 4 pieces of shrimp and 2 pieces of octopus. The salad itself is essentially an entire head of lettuce with some feta. What an incredible rip-off. The octopus appetizer gets smaller each time we order it and it costs $ 17. Definitely not ordering takeout from here again. Too bad there aren’t more options in Wayne

Fantastic Greek food and great service. I’ve been a regular for years. I would highly recommend the gyro, souvlaki, or loukaniko, and of course a Greek salad on the side. Although they meals don’t generally come with sides, the portions are large enough to leave you satiated. I will say, however, that the quality of the food while dining-in is usually better than that of taking out.

Very good food. Great service. The portions are very large. Had some dips, Spanish pie. All very good. My guest had chicken gyro and she loved it. Both came with huge salads. Will be back. Price was reasonable. Took stuff home so much food . Small place so except wait if it’s crowded.

I ordered the spinach pie platter that comes with potatoes, pita bread and a salad. The only thing I dislike are the prices. Too high for take-out. We would go more often if the prices weren’t so high. They’d also have more business on a Monday night if they lowered them. just sayin.

The wife and I were in this neck of the woods and she recommended Zorba’s for take out dinner. My first impression was a good one as the restaurant was very clean — which is a good thing. We were the only patrons at this time, but that’s ok. We were gonna be in and out. I ordered their famous Gyro, came with all the fixin’s… This is where I’m only giving this place 3 stars… For $ 8.35, the size of the Gyro was pretty good… if it came with a side of «something». They have your traditional sides, but with a side of fries, you’re meal is now up to $ 12.25… Still, a bit high to this Unilocaler… You could also get a jumbo sandwich for $ 10.50, with no side either… Bottom line, Gyro was very, very good, just a bit overpriced. We’ll definitely return with the hopes of lower pricing or them including a side with certain sandwiches. With that, this place is a definite 4+ star restaurant. Highly recommended!!!

Nice place to eat for a small gathering-restaurant is small so can’t hold many, but the food is delicious. Cheap gyros for quality and amazing Greek fries. Everything is fresh and staff is nice.

Going downhill fast :(so disappointed and can’t figure out if its staff changes or if the place was sold? Last takeout order pita was forgotten in my order with a grilled chicken salad(not the first time), picked up an order tonight and the dressing was all oil, salad was shredded into long thin strips, barely any feta. Lemon potatoes were dried out and tasted like they’d been sitting out all day. Moving on to find a better Greek restaurant.

Yum! Popped in on a business trip and had a really nice evening. I ordered the chicken gyro platter and was happy with my selection. The Greek salad in particular was divine. The main course(gyro) was good although I wasn’t blown away by the fresh grilled vegetables(I would try the potatoes next time) The service was on point, and the cost was very reasonable.

One of our«go to» restaurants in the area, Zorbas is casual and serves great food! We love all of the appetizers — especially the hummus, grape leaves, and the fries with the feta cheese. The gyro meat is tender and well seasoned and the different kabobs and greek burger we’ve tried were all delicious! The platters come with a nice portion of greek salad too. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy a great meal with friendly service at a reasonable price!

Stopped here for lunch. Got the Gyro platter. It was really tasty. The meat was super flavorful and the Greek salad that came with it was pretty amazing. The tomatoes were fresh and juicy, the feta was perfectly salty and the Dolma that came with it with the perfect salty/sour balance. I am looking forward to returning.

We returned today for lunch. We were seated immediately, and the service was excellent, as it was last week. I love lamb, so I opted for the lamb shis kabob platter, with grilled vegetables on the side. The lamb was tender and moist, always a good sign. So few restaurants know how to prepare lamb, and I’ve been the victim of hard, chewy overcooked lamb before. But Zorba’s understands this delicate meat. the vegetables came on four skewers, and were slices of baby eggplant, separated by grape tomatoes, seasoned with a light sauce. My wife ordered the fish wrap, and she said that the tender white fish was crispy on the outside but tender inside. My daughter enjoyed the falafel wrap, and she reports that, unlike the other night, the falafel was tender and not over-fried. My platter came with a lovely Greek salad, tossed with a light dressing and featuring kalamata olives, dolmades(stuffed grape leaf), and a LIGHT sprinkle of feta. Because of the heavy traffic in the evening, we might make Zorba’s one of our go-to lunch places.

I’m giving a 5 star because I love love loved the dolmades and the pita was so good. I ordered the chicken gyro wrap to go and it wasn’t what I expected but that’s my fault because the guy on the phone told me there’s a chicken gyro wrap and a chicken breast wrap. I meant to get the chicken breast wrap. the wrap was good when I dipped it in the tzaziki but I’m just personally not a fan of «gyro» cut because chicken is always really hard anywhere I go. I suggest they use the pita that they give on the side for the wrap because that would taste so much better. They used a thinner pita for the wrap but like I said it was still pretty good. It was ready in 5 minutes and I was so happy Because I was starving! Overall they have good service and I love their tzaziki because it’s a thick sauce rather than the really watery ones other places have! Delicious. Thank you!

Great, casual place to have a Greek salad or even chicken gyro. Wait staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. It’s packed on the weekends so get there early. It’s also byob if you’re interested in accompanying your meal with a glass of wine. although the food is delicious and consistent, I wish the prices wouldn’t go up. A small Greek salad with chicken and a chicken gyro platter with 2 iced teas costed my fiancé and I $ 54 with tip! I could go somewhere else and get a lot more with that price.

Small, casual Greek eatery in the Corrados strip mall. Stopped in for lunch and had the gyro sandwich with fries. Tasty gyro and good, crispy fries. Friendly service and while they forgot to bring the hummus appetizer we ordered, we still enjoyed the food & atmosphere. By the time we finished our sandwiches, we were satisfied and didn’t need the appetizer. Worth a visit and the ‘student special’ for kids includes fries.

I don’t get up to Northern Jersey often enough these days to visit my son in this most beautiful part of New Guernsey. When he suggested we head for a Greek resto to handle our hunger over lunch, I demurred. I knew he knew what was what. Zorbas sits in a late model strip center with a parking lot full of hot wheels. This is truly a sterling bedroom community an hour twenty west of the Palisades in traffic. We walked in around 1 on a Sunday afternoon. The room was half full, and we were quickly escorted to our table by a bright shiny host. ’ A’. had been here before and knew what he wanted — Chicken Gyro and Greek Salad. Make that, two, please. Plus, some of those Zorba Fries that looked so tempting on the menu photo. About 10 minutes later, our server made a smiling delivery of our desires. The Gyros were wrapped tightly in aluminum foil and white paper. A bit of tearing and unwinding was needed to approach with incisors and bicuspids, but patience was rewarded. The Pita was a hot shield around the tender Chicken and sesame smooth tart Tahini. The cool Lettuce and Onion complemented them well. The Salad was Romaine acting as a vehicle for driving a load of Feta, Red Onion, and Brown Olives into our gullets. Very cool and sharp. The Zorba Fries was a large basket of crispies interspersed with a mother load of more Feta and Spices. Hot and delicious. Great concept for the«French» fry. Through it all we caught up with each other, and in truth the conversation overshadowed the meal. Sometimes the moment is so much more about relationships than food. But, I forced myself to tune into the meal long enough to be able to Unilocal about it. So, Zorbas did its job — providing a wonderful environment for a long overdue conversation. For that alone I would be a fan. That the food was really tasty and satisfying, was, as they say, gravy.
