We stopped by and had lunch today. It was ok. They told us they are closing for business and today was their last day.

The first thing I need to say is that we ate at The Garden café right after coming from backpacking for four days, so I can’t say for sure if I would have given any food that was not just rehydrated five stars as well. However, it is a great little place. Fresh veggies, great patio to sit on, many interesting choices on the menu. And the waitress, very busy on a Sunday afternoon going up and down the stairs in 100 degree heat, was nothing but gracious and delightful.

The Garden Café has always been a favorite for breakfast and lunch. Now there is a Dinner menu which features great food and is a welcome addition to Weaverville.

Nice tasty stop for lunch. Stopped here to get a bite to eat as my girlfriend and I were adventuring around town. The outdoor patio was a beautiful place to sit out and enjoy the beautiful day. The waitress who helped us was very helpful and friendly. I got a California Reuben Sandwich and a side of clam chowder. They were both nothing spectacular but worth the money spent. Whenever I am back in Weaverville and need a quick little sit down lunch I will definitely be back at The Garden Café.

Stopped in for breakfast on my way out of town. Was very excited based on the other reviews, however, I was a little let down. I am a biscuits and gravy kind of guy, so I was happy to see it on the menu — unfortunately it wasn’t all that I hoped it would be. I should have known when I heard the microwave from the kitchen. The biscuits were bland and the gravy was too watery. I think my experience would have been completely different had I ordered something like an omelet or pancakes. Service was great, they were all very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Maybe next time…

I loved the Garden Café during my 3-month stay in Trinity County in 2011. I have not had anything bad here. I loved the veggie dishes. The gazpacho was delish! The prices were great here & the service was great. Always left with a full belly :)

We had a lovely breakfast out on the patio. It was fun people and dog watching while enjoying our meal. The staff as well as the customers were all very friendly.

Love the new owners, not that we didn’t love the old ones either. Service is great and the food is great. Check them out next time you’re in town. But don’t listen to Unilocal,its not chinese, its american and there breakfast is wonderful, especially in the spring on the patio. Keep it up guys!

The Garden Café recently changed hands. The new owners have a new chef that has experience, and it shows. The food was excellent and the menu was full of great sounding choices. The service was excellent and we didn’t want for anything while we were there. The prices were very good. the descriptions for the restaurant showed that it was a Chinese eatery, but it never has been Chinese. We will be back for more.

The food is very good. Sandwichs came with a salad instead of fries(more healthy than not!). Outdoor seating is available. The staff was friendly. Inside seating is a tad cramped and I could see it being very loud with several tables being occupied.

Fast seating, excellent food, and friendly service. There’s not much more that’s needed before a planned three days in the wilderness. The only downside was that the espresso machine was broken — but the chai tea was amazing, and very, very hot. Our omelets were huge and filled with fresh goodness. All in all, a very satisfying meal!
