Idiot line crew at this location. I order the low carb burger, show the dufuss where the item is on their menu board. I get the regular version. The menu board says get any version as low carb. It seems the people they hire cannot read but can only go by menu numbers. What a horrible way to run a business. Other customers were getting the wrong orders. This location sucks. Food, if they get the order right is not bad.

Worst Carl’s Jr experience ever this place is in desperate need of NEWMANAGEMENT immediately nobody in this location knows simple math and if u ask for your receipt they give u your money back and ask u to leave last night I really wanted to try the New steakhouse burger the ½ pound combo was advertised at $ 9.49 so I upgraded to a medium combo for 69c now 9.49 and 69c Comes to a total of 10.20 and 8 percent tax on ten dollars 80c for a total of what should be no more the $ 11.20 so when the cashier told me $ 13.80 I ask him to repeat my order and then I asked how is that it says 9.49 plus 69c and he says tax and I said there’s three dollars and 60c tax on ten dollars and twenty cents can I speak to your manager please so the manager comes out her name was Trina and unqualified to be in management she has zero people skills zero customer service skills and is very rude she referred to her employees as children and I had no right to question children about the amount and they don’t control the amount so I asked for my receipt so I can see what’s going on with the math from the cash register she refuses to give me my receipt and I reply I can’t have my receipt for my food and she says no and hands me back my money smh wow this place is ripping customers off Un caringly and when confronted be come argumentative and refuse service or a receipt never eat here if u have had a similar experience please reply and we can file a class action suit against this location thanks in advance

Burgers are good but the service is the worst in the area. Always messing up the order and always making you wait a long time for food.

I tried the Mile High Bacon Thickburger for the first time today. I always enjoy the burgers here but this one was a step above the rest. It was literally piled high with great tasting smoky flavored bacon. The service at this particular Carl’s is always extraordinary for a fast food restaurant.

Restaurant is freezing cold and so is the food! Fries were ice cold burgers were barely warm both mine and my son’s burger was made wrong. Sisters onion rings were like tires. Managers were nice but that’s about it.

Their burgers are amazing but the management is «meh». Not the best but definitely not the worst

Came in here because I have not had Carls Jr in a long time. Their system was down but one of the kitchen guys decided to help us and rang it up once the system came back up. Manager being on the phone was able to get it back up and started to ring up the order but didn’t know what he was doing. He held his finger up at me as telling me to hold on because he was still on the pone. The girl from drive through came up and nicely told him that she’ll help us but he said no. He was able to ring everything up but incorrectly and still managed to not ring up a burger and over charge us for something else. The girl was really nice about fixing the order for us though. I don’t think he should be the manager and I believe someone deserves a promotion. I’m not returning to the location again

Sad because growing up on SoCal I LOVE(d) CJ’s. Since it opened, this is by far the worst ever and gives a bad name to the company. Ridiculously SLOW all around. People not getting orders right. Every time I’ve ordered via drive through I’ve had to pull over and wait. Once was about 15 – 17 minutes! When I came in the store to find out why the long wait they looked at me like I was crazy. You are doing a horrible job.

Do not go here if you are expecting good, fast, and friendly service. They are rude over the drive thru. She would cut me off mid sentence. Then at the window she snatched my card from me and gave me dirty looks the entire time. The food was okay, but I had to wait forever. I was there at least 20 minutes waiting on my order. They gave me no napkins or ketchup, nor did they offer. I was very disappointed with this location. I gave them 2 stars because the food wasn’t cold. Other than that I probably will not return.

Love the low carb burger! It’s seriously amazing and so fresh. It’s so nice to have a diet friendly Fast food place in the area. My order was super fresh and hot. The line went by pretty quickly for being in a high traffic area. They could use a trash can after the drive thru window.

I went here for the first time last week. Very disappointed. The hamburger was cold & the fries tastes like they has been put back into the oil & recooked. I really expected a great burger. Oh well, I will not be back.

I’ve been to this location about 10 times. I like their original burger and their biscuits & gravy. Their breakfast is super cheap but I didn’t think much of it. But, this place has the worst service of any order-at-the-counter place I’ve ever been to. There never seems to be anybody at the order register. I’ve had to wait up to five minutes to order with no one else waiting. They sometimes bring your food to your table, but It took so long last time we went to pick our order up ourselves. We had to keep going back for jelly, for utensils, for cream for the coffee and something else and we still forgot butter, but gave up. In spite of the bad service workers keep leaving or going out for a cigarette while you wait. l’d give them five stars for food and zero stars for service, that became three stars. My family and I went here purely out of curiosity. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu as well as the prices. I don’t know what happened when previous reviewers were here as perhaps the singular standout thing was the upbeat, excellent service. Between the four of us, we covered most bases, from chicken, to turkey, to hamburgers. All were well prepared and of reasonable quality. We plan on returning next time we are in the area.

Their burbers are good. I have no quarry with that, but, this is my second time at this location that I have received«cold» potato fries. Their soda machine was also not working when I went. I ordered a large meal, meaning, I should have had a large drink I said, they have no lemonade I told the manager. He just walk away, and said in a matter of fact way, «it’s not working!» So, I told the caahier, and asked her, if there is something they can do about my drink since I do not drink carbonated drinks. She was more accomodating and gave me an orang juice. I don’t think I could give more than 2 because of management. I hope whoever owns this franchise reads the Unilocal reviews, or else this branch might not make it.

The $ 11 dollar burgers! Yes because they can’t get your order right! Tired of giving them second chances. Went there today, ordered 4 burgers and got home to only 2 burgers and no receipt to prove what I had bought. I’m done.

This has got to be THEWORSTLOCATIONEVER!!! Seriously theres a drive thru so that I could QUICKLY get my food and eat it during my short lunch break. But thats not the case. Not only did it take a long time to place my order, i was told to park my car up front to wait for my food(along with another car). It literally took over 30 minutes to get our food! After waiting sooooooo long for them to deliver our food in which no one ever came. I proceed to walk in there to find out whats going on. I run into the server who hands me my food. No apologies whatsoever. Not only that, my food was COLD! Who knows how long my food has been sitting there bcuz no one wanted to come out snd deliver to me like they said they would. Is there no kind of management in this location?!

I grew up on Carl’s Jr. when I lived on the west coast as a child. When they first appeared in Cypress, TX, I took a trip with a friend. The food and service was exceptional for fast food. It was the same at the Pearland, TX. Here in Webster, TX, not so much. It appears to be run by complete degenerates. I placed an order for just a Guacamole Burger and Chili Cheese Fries. Please tell me why the girl at the register rang my food up but failed to submit it into the system. Oh that’s right, because prior to helping us, she was texting on her Samsung Galaxy phone with her elongated red nails. When we got to the counter to order, she couldn’t seem to count our change back to us properly. She must’ve fell asleep in school during her elementary plus years. I waited 30 minutes for it, while everyone else was served. When I approached the counter, the manager was nice and asked if we were already helped. I informed her I ordered 30 minutes ago, but the food was never placed in the system. She apologized and said they would get it to us right away. When the food arrived, I got a double order of burgers and fries, when I only ordered a Guacamole Burger and Chili Cheese Fries. I asked the staff member to take the other order back. As my friends and I were eating, we noticed the drive thru was backed up as it was prior to us pulling in. Drivers were having to run in to correct their order. A woman ordered the oreo ice cream sandwich and got cookies instead. Another gentlemen requested no mustard or tomatoes on his burger and he got the works. The list goes on. I bit into my burger, which was cold. Not the guacamole, but the beef itself. The fries were soggy and drowning in chili. Excessive amounts of over salted chili. Everyone else complained their burgers were cold on the inside. I’ve never had this experience at any other Carl’s Jr, but I guess it’s excepted of the staff, since they were in the dining room area watching the sports on tv instead of attending to the food.

Carl’s Jr was immortalized in the film Idiocracy, just like Taco Bell was a decade earlier in the film Demolition Man(thank you Kathryn C.!) So it is a pop culture sensation. Carl’s Jr is finally spreading its tentacles from West to East. We all remember the six dollar burger we ate out West on a family vacation or whatever when we were younger. Before the film The Big Lebowski that turned In-N-Out into«gotta have it» — Carl’s Jr was the big bully on the block that made you swing by and take a taste. Carl’s first appeared on my Texas radar when it opened outside of Dallas off i-45 giving a hungry driver with a discriminating fast-food tongue another option besides the Fried Pie Shoppe on the road from Houston to Dallas without going more than about ten feet off the highway. That first Carl’s was magic. Then the next one on my radar opened up off 610 in the Heights-ish area. The place was slightly less magical since there were long line and lots of people and I don’t like either. And then I was in Longview for work and came across another Carl’s Jr and had a better chili cheese fry experience since it was a huge restaurant up there, like massive, and since it was a small town it was just not that busy inside so I didn’t need to be around people. This is a small restaurant. As you approach you think«whoa, that looks kind of small» since it is right off the highway, dwarfed by a massive Home Depot, and across the highway from a huge Whataburger. As a result of it being a small restaurant there are less workers inside and as a result, things move more slowly than say at a In-N-Out where they have like three drive-thru lanes and a lot more workers. The food quality was as-expected from a fast food place. The chili cheese fries are messy, greasy, and disgustingly good in only the way that eating your feelings can accomplish when you are a grumpy cat and miserably unhappy. The jalapeño turkey burger registers as a compromise that it has no bacon, so it is not that magical, but it has jalapenos on it so it kind of saves the day — like an awful kolache with waxy cheese is never that awful as long as there are some jalapenos jam-packed in there as a saving throw to detract you from what else is wrong with it — chiefly, lack of bacon. You have to appreciate the aggressiveness of Carl’s Jr to open up on the same street(more or less) that has a Taco Bell, Whataburger, and what used to be a DQ but no longer has the DQ signage(?) — and with a Panera, Café Express, and other things a minute drive away. Carl’s is a welcome addition to the repertoire of places I would definitely eat ten feet off of the highway driving between Galveston and downtown Houston. Now it is a Sophie’s choice whether I want greasy Whataburger’s jalapenos, a taco from Taco Bell, or chili cheese fries from Carl’s. If it’s a day I am thinking about Idiocracy then it is likely a day that will bring me to Carl’s. Now excuse me while I go enjoy my EXTRABIGASSCHILICHEESEFRIES now with MOREMOLECULES.

What am I missing? I didn’t think the food was anything special and the people were seriously unorganized, plus not really friendly. There were tons of workers there and they were super loud, but friendly? Not so much. Hubby just got a #1 burger with fries and I went a little crazy and got the Guacamole Bacon burger and onion rings. My burger was ok. It was super huge and super messy but not super good. The onion rings were decent. Hubby said his fries were cold and the burger tasted just like Burger King but for a lot more money. My onion rings were somewhat hot but for as long as it took them to get to me, not warm enough. The burger had guacamole, and jalapeño cheese and lettuce and tomato and some sauce I think. It really was just a big ol gloppy goop of stuff and I couldn’t really taste anything that stood out. We weren’t greeted when we got up to the counter; the cashier just looked at us. I’m sorry, this is a HUGE pet peeve for me. At least say hi or smile. Don’t just stand there you’re waiting on me to say something. Which I usually do… working in fast food and retail trained me well. Too bad they don’t train people anymore… :/ So yeah. This just wasn’t that great. It was very meh. The food was meh, the service was meh… and truthfully two stars seems a little high, but the description is spot on, so I’m going with that.
