I haven’t been here in a few years but when I used to come here this place was really good. Pretty crowded on weekends though. Price is decent too. I don’t know why i stopped coming here though.

I’m not sure if we just came on a bad night but tonight we ate here and not impressed at all ! The onion ring appetizer was the best and it was just ok! The food was like an upscale Lubys, not much flavor especially for the prices ! We won’t be back !

I love their food. Unfortunately, they have an additional charge for each item you order to go. I understand 1 additional charge, but EVERY item having an additional charge is outrageous. When I told them I would be ordering from somewhere else, the response I received was, «ok». I don’t have time to sit and be served at lunch during the lunch rush. I am a very nice person. I didn’t get an attitude like most people would. I just won’t eat here.

Absolutely horrible experience. Dirty tables everywhere and 50 people waiting to be seated yet there are employees either standing around doing absolutely nothing or sitting in booths laughing and cutting it up.
No respect for customers needing to be seated. Was told a 10 – 15 min wait but it’s now been 30 min. What a joke!

A good place for cheap strong drinks, and okay eats. Doesn’t really taste like anything is homemade, but it’s not bad. They have a nice dining room and a huge aquarium that my son loves. Usually good servers, so I can’t complain.

The salmon is to die for as is everything else on the menu! Also, I usually get pick up and it was on time and the bartender who helped me was really nice. She also checked my order with me before I left.

I have always had good luck at cheddars. The salads are good. The broccoli cheese soup is great. I usually get so much that I have a take out container. I have too many favorites to list.

Was craving the bourbon salmon and it came out semi raw… I was so disappointed! The sides were good and the server and manager made sure I was taken care of. For that they gets three stars.

The food was decent. The drinks and service were great, but beware being seated in the back part of the establishment. It was freezing. I told our waitress and she said «yes, it’s always very cold back here.» We
found ourselves rushing because it was miserable. I also told the hostess on the way out and she laughed as well and said «everyone says that.» Uhmmm, well maybe you could fix that, or at least warn your customers.

Went with friends who enjoy Cheddars especially for their famous cocktail called the Painkiller.
The establishment is clean and the staff is well trained and friendly.
One of us had a rib steak which he claimed was very good. Another of us had a vegetable plate which consists of for sides and a bowl of soup. She said all was very good except for two of the sides which arrived cold. Our server replaced the cold food with fresh new dishes instead of reheating themno had the chicken Caesar pasta salad which was really very good. Fresh greens, freshly shaved parmesan, a grilled chicken breast, croutons and a great dressing.
All in all a very pleasant experience.

Get the salmon – you wont be disappointed. Its always flaky and fresh. The broccoli casserole is cheesy with a crunchy topper. The lunch portion is available at all times which i appreciate. Theyre never stingy with the lemons for the water which alot of places are. The salad with fresh croissants are a delight. Ive never had a disappointing meal here – its always consistently yummy. The prices are fair. Service is great. We will keep coming back.

Good food, good time, but lousy service. Maybe it was the day we went, maybe it was because our waitress kept helping and checking on the table next to us more while ignoring us. Whatever the case may be, the service lacked. The food and the restaurant were both very nice though.

Oh boy do I love chedders, let’s start with the service, our waiter was very fast and friendly, from exp a lot of waiters treat young folk as trash and give them bad customer exp, but I have never had this happen at chedders, great service. I always get the buffalo chicken tenders, IT COMES WITH SO MUCH, I love them and the price is under 10 bucks what a deal. Also don’t forget to ask for extra ranch, it is free of charge!

Good food. I had a loaded baked potato and an order of broccoli cheese casserole. I also ordered some croissants with honey butter. My husband had the hickory baby back ribs with sides of red beans and rice and green beans. Waiter was really nice. We will be back. No dessert to full.

This was a dissappointment, cut off after 2 drinks, @ the bar. The reason I say disappointing, is that we travel in a large group with average bar taps from 150 — 700 per stop, after looking for a new place to stop, we will not be back.
Bartender was good, just carried bad news.

Great prices and consistent, above average quality. I am a big fan of the buffalo chicken tenders and broccoli rice casserole. They could build a chicken wing restaurant around these alone.
Portions are impressive for the price. I often end up with leftovers here. I have never had to wait for a table even when they are pretty busy. Clean restaurant and restrooms, friendly staff

This is one of those places that forever changed my perception of how food should be. More specifically, I will never look at croissants the same way again. The croissants here are super fresh, hot just out of the oven and covering in a butter honey glaze. Rich, decadent and oh so good. The croissants here alone are worth a visit.
I also had a roast beef entrée. It was tender and flavorful. Exactly what you would expect of a proper pot roast beef.
The food was excellent. The service was passable. The enormous freshwater fish tank was very entertaining. In all, I had a very satisfying lunch here.

Cheddar’s reminds me of a Friendly’s, but Texan style.
Meaning friendly service, fun ambiance, large portions, hearty food and delicious, delicious alcohol.
I’ve had their salmon plate, which comes with two sides, and their grilled chicken honey pecan salad. The salmon was cooked just right, with the tender piece rested over a bed of buttered rice. The sides I got were their homemade slaw and red bean, both of which were pretty decent.
The salad was also quite fresh, and they were able to substitute cheese with extra pecans on demand. Their service is fantastic in that you can basically get anything made anyway you like.
While the food was pretty good, my favorite part of this place was definitely their cocktails. They have a large list of fun cocktails that not only tastes delicious, but also packs a punch (without you ever really tasting it).
This could definitely be a great dinner spot if you’re with a bunch of friends looking to let loose and have a good time.
