Disappointing. Came here on a Saturday night around 8 or so. Like the Unilocaler reviews stated, no where to park with a minuscule parking lot. The same could be stated about the dining room. Very small, close quartered, and stuffy. I ordered the chicken ranch sandwich, which was more like a grilled cheese sandwich. It was awful. Homemade chips came out cold and lacked flavor. Salad was not fresh and tasted like it had been left out. Bathrooms were filthy and stunk. Will not return.

Been here a few times food is awesome. The staff is very friendly and down to earth very attentive as well as polite. Love coming here tried a few other restaurants lately and I’ll definitely get back here sooner then later when the quality is there and the prices are very reasonable yards have to love it

First time and not impressed. Tuna sandwich tasted fishy. Requested vegetarian entrée but it arrived with meat. Had to ask twice about it. Server made it right that’s why two stars.

We will not be coming back to this place. The parking was terrible, the service was terrible, and worst of all, the food was terrible. When we walked in the guy told us to seat ourselves, but we ended up having to go ask for menus because it took 15 min for our server to come out of the kitchen and ask for our drink orders. Our waitress was snotty and didn’t even pretend to be friendly. My boyfriend ordered the chicken parm sandwich, and it looked like a hockey puck on bread. The chicken was so rubbery and burnt he couldn’t even finish it. I ordered the fish fry, which was okay, but nothing special. By the end of our meal we were wishing we had chosen somewhere else for dinner.

It’s a newer age dive bar. Sports are fun to watch here. The food is actually really good. You also can’t beat $ 6 Pitchers and .50 cent wings.

We went here for my birthday on a recommendation. It took us 15 minutes to be seated(not too long) but we were seated next to an aquarium that looked like it had never been cleaned. Never. In years. It took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive and the fries were cold, the burger was lukewarm, and our drinks were never refilled. To make matters worse, I got a parking ticket because someone parked across 3 spots in the tiny parking lot so we parked on the side of the lot which put us too close to the road which is no parking. I won’t be going back.

The Food is actually very good if you want to compare to other«Bar Food» joints. Also good low key place to come watch favorite NFL team on Sunday’s. & Large selection of liquor to choose from. The Bad: parking is lousy, and dining room is way too small.

Great local bar and restaurant. The patio on the side of the building looks nice, I’ll request to sit there next time. The loaded fries appetizer is great. It comes with bacon, cheese, and scallions but the French fries were crisped perfectly. Mmm, delicious. My go-to is the buffalo chicken melt. Crispy chicken, cheese, and buffalo sauce create the perfect sandwich. You won’t be disappointed! Just wish they had more parking! We’ve gone elsewhere quite few few times just because there was no parking available.

This relatively small, unassuming bar on a busy stretch of Empire Blvd in Webster serves pretty darn good food. Not your typical bar menu — yes many of the favorites you would expect are on the list but also some interesting variations and some items like Sloppy Joe that were a surprise(and surprisingly very good). We debated whether or not to order the cup of seafood bisque at $ 7.50 but went for it and were not disappointed. It was delicious and contained two full scallops and two whole shrimp in a tasty and not-too-thick sauce. It was worth the price. The Werewolf wings were coated in a Country Sweet type sauce after deep frying and then grilled — they were excellent. Unfortunately the grilled fish was overcooked, dry and fishy and the fish fry was just ok though the half-portions were as big as full portions elsewhere. The dining room is quite small and I could see where a wait for a table could be long(we were later on a Friday and just waited 10 mins). When the weather is nice their patio more than doubles their capacity(but can the kitchen keep up?). I would have given them 4 stars but the fish knocked them down to a 3.

The wait staff at the Empire Grill is helpful and friendly. The burgers are really delicious and pretty big too. Mac salad, Mac and cheese and the fries are great sides. The hot sauce is a must try item — it is delicious! There are lots of good choices to pick from on the menu but I can’t resist the char broiled burgers. Yum!!!

One of the worst experiences EVER!!! Tried to speak with the manager and he was smug and condescending! Server was nice as well as the bar tenders! Will not go back because the manager. To accommodate meat on the side is not too much to ask when there are 5 tables sat! We were there 25 minutes before the server took our drink orders and another 45+ minutes to serve our appetizer! Seriously?!?

Ooof. I don’t know where to start. We’ve been here quite a few times because it’s close. However, it’s not my favorite. The food is great for what it is. We’ve gone for lunch and it was really excellent. Service was great and food was too. At night, this place is a whole different animal. The crowd is young. And I’m definitely not old! Very loud, very rambunctious. It’s a bar. I get it. But half of these kids don’t even look 21. Maybe I am old. The service is not so good at night. Even being seated by a host doesn’t help. We’ve gotten up and walked out twice because we got no food service. If you want a drink, then by all means come here later on the weekend for a very packed bar with lots of excitement. Fights in the parking lot and all! I don’t recommend it for those who are looking for a good sit down meal unless you go in on a week day. In the early afternoon. Oh and definitely don’t play Slayer on the jukebox or you might get the rowdy jersey shore lookin kids ready to fight you over how badly your music selection sucks.

The food is great. I’m especially fond of their wings. However, the place is small and fills up fast during peak hours. Staff is really friendly, but sometimes overwhelmed by the crowd. And parking is a pain. But it’s still a great hangout or a nice place for dinner.

Empire bar and grill is one of our favorite lunch break stops during the work week. The portions are generally huge, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The lobster Mac and cheese is awesome, as is the crab cake sandwich topped with coleslaw. Their battered French fries are addictive! I rate their empire plate as one of the better garbage plates I’ve ever had. The menu item I disliked was the sirloin sandwich with the onion ring and balsamic drizzle. The sandwich was very dry and nearly impossible to eat. One thing I will say is that the experience greatly depends on the server you get. When we go at lunch time, sometimes we’re able to get back on time, and sometimes not… Make sure to tell your server you’re on lunch*

Excellent fish fry. Intoreable service. We’ve waited 2 hours for a table for 4, and we were finally sat and it took 25 mins for a waitress to come to our table. We complained and got a free round of drinks. That was pretty legit. Food was on spot. So fresh. Huge portions and pipin hott! Everyone loved thier food! I agree with other posts that this place can draw a trashy/low class crowd. A FEW of the waitresses are very unattractive and are wearing cheap walmart tank tops and heavy cheap makeup. Some of the waitresses are cute. The drinks are somewhat weak. Stay with the beer specials, 2.50 blue moon drafts? Oh hell yes, thank you. Parking is a complete bitch. I suggest going for an early dinner or happy hour after work. After about 9 you get the riff raft… One glance around and you feel like you are in Gates or something. Mullets, banana combs, tweety bird sweatshirts and wine. This is webster! Keep it clean! We dont need an invasion from all the trailer parks from 315, or any dumpy west side chicks! Haha. All in all, a great time. you will have fun, but don’t plan on makin it a quick stop. If you want to eat, you’ll be waiting a while! Prices are pretty reasonable and food quality is high.

This place is amazing! My office is a couple doors down so we frequently get lunch from here. I have NEVER had a bad meal from Empire Bar and Grill. I usually go with the $ 9.99 Cobb salad and it is HUGE and filled with TONS of toppings… Opposed to many places that have tons of lettuce and skimpy with the«good stuff.» I’ve also tried the $ 5.99 meatball appetizer which has 3 giant, baseball-sized meatballs in red sauce. I eat fairly strict Paleo/Primal so this is perfect for me… Who needs the bun anyways??? I’m also a sucker for fried pickles and this place does those as well, though their price for them is a little steep at $ 6.99. They also have a great happy hour 3−7pm Monday through Friday, $ 2 well drinks, $ 2 domestic drafts and $ 2.50 wine. Only negative is that there is not much parking and this place is ALWAYS packed. My best friend was up from Dallas and I wanted to bring her here but we couldn’t find a parking spot so we went elsewhere. It’s a shame bc this place ROCKS!

Another hidden gem in Webster that I recently discovered, having not found the occasion to eat in the area very often. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated immediately, and the server never went MIA for a long period of time, and made sure to check on us a reasonable number of times, so a definite 5 stars for service. The burger I ordered(see the pic!) was called the«Jucy Lucy Cowboy Burger), was gigantic and cooked to perfection as ordered. It was stuffed with a plethora of sliced jalapenos and cheddar jack cheese, and topped with an onion ring and BBQ sauce. It was delicious, it did get messy towards the end — but who really cares, right? I ordered my burger with the standard house made ranch chips, and they were great as well. On the thick side, and very crispy and well seasoned(not oversalted, which is a very common mistake with chips). My date ordered the Steak Burger with fries. The burger was, once again, excellent and very flavorful. The fries were lightly battered and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, we both thought the fries were outstanding. The martini my date ordered was just OK, nothing special, and we both prefer the martinis down the road at Flaherty’s. We also ordered the«Jalapeño Bottle Caps» appetizer(yes, I was in the mood for spicy!), which were sliced jalapenos beer battered and deep fried, They could have been cooked a little crisper, but that is really splitting hairs, and I am sure they would accommodate if I requested them crispy next time. These definitely brought the heat, as you would expect. I liked them a lot, nut you definitely have to be ready for some heat. They have at least a couple decent beer selections, Southern Tier IPA and Sam Adams Alpine Spring when I was there, but the tap list certainly will not blow you away, as it is heavy on the macro brews. Overall, it was very good, especially if you are in the mood for a great burger. I will definitely be going again.
