I stopped in here while passing through, and holy AWESOMENESS. Firstly, the staff was amazingly friendly — like you immediately have this big smile on your face because they are SO happy to greet you. The ice cream is all homemade, delicious, and there’s a ton of flavors. To make it even better? You get the cup(or cone) of ice cream and then you can add all of your own toppings from the topping bar. AWWYEEEAAAH.

Stopped here for a quick burger. The food wasn’t bad but not much more than you would expect from a fast food place except they have fresh cut fries. Not cheap but not really expensive either.

This place was formerly known as Sundaes at the Beach. I think they made a big mistake in renaming it. The regular food is outstanding, but let’s be honest, this place has the BEST ice cream in the area, and that’s what it should market first. The current name and advertising downplays the ice cream. The sign does not even say«Fresh Ice Cream» or «homemade ice cream». There are so many lousy ice cream places without fresh product. I really think they should promote that they have fresh, homemade ice cream. The best ice cream flavor is sea salt caramel. Make sure you try it!

This used to be Sundaes at the Beach, but they’ve changed their name to reflect the fact that they now have burgers, fries and other food as well as the same great ice cream they have always had. I tried one of their burgers and their fries today. The burger was very good, and the fries were amazing. The fries are fresh cut, and they have white vinegar which makes them as good as the ones at Old Orchard Beach, the ultimate compliment in my opinion. So, go there, get whatever you want for food, get the fries, try them with white vinegar, and get ice cream for dessert. I particularly recommend the almond chocolate overload, Kahlua chip, mint chocolate chip, M&M, and peppermint stick ice creams.

I have traveled all over and can confidently say that Sundaes on the Beach gave me the best sundae I have ever had. I had chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. They allow you to make your own sundae. I kept it simple with yummy hot fudge and hot Caramel. I topped it off with their homemade whipped cream. So scrumptious I had it two days in a row!

The Salted Caramel Ice cream is to die for, one of the best ice creams that I have ever had. Have been here a few times and will go back as much as I can.

We liked the idea of the make your sundae bar and thought the ice cream was good, not amazing. The prices were a little steep.

This is the best ice cream we’ve found in the area. It’s homemade with great ingredients. The chocolate almond had an authentic cocoa taste and TONS of almonds. It’s well worth the slightly higher than average prices. The staff is friendly and everything looks clean. Go! It’s amazing!

It was good. Not often you see a make your own sundae bar, but it was small. price is hihg, $ 6.99 for 2 scoops and make your own sundae. Good ice cream.

Home made ice cream! That alone is awesome… add in a MAKEYOUROWNSUNDAEBAR… OMG. If I lived in Maine I’d be here every day and weigh a million pounds.

The flavors were varied and well executed. My wife loved the build your own sundae bar. Staff was friendly and overall a good time!

Don’t bother. Rude service, too expensive for just ok ice cream. I would suggest Scoop Deck, Big Daddy’s or even Shain’s of Maine before I suggest this rip off.

This is a serious homemade ice cream parlor. They make their own excellent, interesting flavors, including cantaloupe when my daughter and I were there. An excellent addition to the southern Maine ice cream scene!
