Hands down the best breakfast around clean affordable old fashioned country food at its finest. In my opinion these are the best pancakes with syrup anywhere. You must get an orange juice it is freshly squeezed and add your own orange slices to it for an incredible taste.

Why 2 stars? Well it should be 1.5 stars. Here’s why… First off, Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant known for their breakfast. I have been to various Cracker Barrel Restaurants in Florida and other states, however, this is my first visit to this location. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but the service sucked. We had a party of 8, which consisted of 4 adults and 4 children. We were serviced by Donna. While she was pleasant, her service skills were lacking. Also, the kitchen served soupy grits(YUCK) and to add insult to injury, one of the guests grits were cold. Cold, soupy grits… no thank you! Another guest wanted to make a substitution of meat and Donna said it would be an up charge. The guest said, that was fine. Donna, immediately responds, «well I can’t do that because of how we ring it in and the manager won’t approve it». Ummmm wait, didn’t you JUST say it was fine??? Oh, let’s not forget to add… eggshells in scrambled eggs??? Sighs!!! While I love Cracker Barrel and have never had an issue, I don’t think I will be visiting this location again. At least my hashbrown casserole was deeeeeelish!!!

The great thing about America is you can eat what you want, when you want and Cracker Barrel is the champion of breakfast for dinner. I order off the menu the Grandmas breakfast special. Blueberry pancakes, eggs over easy, hash brown casserole, and sausage links. The waitresses here are always friendly and helpful. The only issue is there are too many tables and they are way too close together. You rub elbows with the people at the next table and can’t have a conversation with who you showed up to the party with without the tables around you joining in. It’s always nice to have the infant in the high hair reach over and slather your shoulder with a fistful of egg and sausage gravy. No personal Space allowed. A great place for breakfast though.

Where do I begin? This reminds me so much of home(Atlanta). The old country feeling made me feel so comfortable. The waiters portrayed everything souther hospitality is and should be, and the smiles and genuine friendliness puts this above and beyond everyone else in the area. We began with our breakfast in the afternoon. Our eggs were cooked to perfection and tasted fresh, my chicken country steak tasted like nothing I’ve had anywhere else. The coffee was warm and fresh off the machine, and the pecan pancakes were heaven in my mouth. This whole restaurant is such a great place to take your family for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff will want you to keep coming back, and the food is just the desert with a nice slice of pie and ice cream. If you’re in the Tampa area please stop here.

I have become so disappointed withk cracker barrel. I use to love it. Now it is nothing but noisy with bad food. I want oatmeal, plain oatmeal. Nothing special! Butter and brown sugar. They only have oatmeal that cost $ 6.99 that has dried fruit, yuck. So I start to notice… every thing on the menu is $ 6.99 plus! The same things to choose from, no one egg choices, let’s make you sluggish for the rest of the day breakfast choices! I am sorry, I normally don’t gripe so much but DAMN! NOPLAINOATMEAL???

Always a go to for our family. Breakfast or lunch at any time. The only thing I hate… the amount to plates and bowls that are delivered for one meal. This is a great location. Never too busy. And when it is, our wait has never been more than 20 minutes.

Sometimes we need a plate with a stack of pancakes and this is the place. They serve a great biscuit and gravy too. Driving over we anticipate the menu and always end up starting with pancakes. The comfort food here is great-try the baked apple and mac cheese. after you wander thru the gift store on the way out-maybe stop for a post card and only look at the candy, sit on the rocking chairs outside and relax and digest. We bought one of the chairs many years ago after rocking slowly one afternoon. Still have the chair on my porch, so we can rock after plates of Cracker barrel food.

My family and I usually go to this location after church each Sunday and have an enjoyable meal. The wait is generally 10 – 15 minutes and their estimates are spot on. As usual our meal was very good today with a couple of minor exceptions. The wait staff is rated by the number of stars on their apron. Today we had a one star and it showed(4 stars are tops). Virtual every visit we have a staff member taking care of our refills. This didn’t happen today. We were given a ketchup bottle with ketchup spilling out of the top. The bread I asked to be seared was toasted so the fish slid right off of the bread. I could have gotten it taken it care if but didn’t want the fish to get cold. For a nice meal this is almost always a solid choice. The minor issues we experienced today are not indicative of the usual service we get. I would recommend this Cracker Barrel anytime.

My family loves Cracker Barrel, It’s always a part of our road trips! Whenever I come here I always order the catfish platter, it comes with 2 filets either breaded and fried or grilled. Both are good in my opinion! Along with 3 sides. Veggies are a must so I order their broccoli side which is steamed, comes with a lemon slide usually which is very good to sprits on the broccoli crowns! My other two sides are either the mashed potatoes or baked potato. The food came out in no time. Our waitress was very kind and checked up on us frequently. My father is always up for trying new things so he usually orders the daily specials. The daily special at that time was a chicken pot pie. He enjoyed the meal! The meals comes with your choice of biscuits, cornbread or both. We usually get biscuits because we’re more on the salty side, they’re filling with the little butter packs. And as for the gift shop part of it, I love that there’s always a section decorated for the holidays! There were these little fox salt and pepper shakers that were the cutest things I’ve ever seen, there was also a fox mug to match! It would be a lovely addition to any household! Cute table décor is always a plus.

Breakfast on a Thursday at 9 am. Not very busy. Food cooked perfectly . Quick table service . Fair price . I think CB is the most consistent place I eat . Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They never let me down.

CB is a restaurant chain that offers something different to the usual burgers. They do not serve beer or liquor. There are old-fashioned dishes, which are in line with the mood of the room, reminiscent of the old days. Thanks to an old furniture and a fitting particular, seems to go back fifty years. All local CB are equal, so that you eat in Florida City or Tampa, we find the same dishes and the same atmosphere. The food is tasty and plentiful. Lower average prices, in two for a complete meal they spend 25 to 35 dollars. One evening we were sitting close to the kitchen and I was able to see the chefs cook with the headset, gloves and mask, in accordance with the rules of hygiene. Local Recommended!

Founded in Tennessee back in ’69, the cracker barrel has been filling bellies and winning fans and entenraining kids of all ages, ever since. I have not personally been to a cracker barrel in over 20 years, and then it was somewhere near the Great Divide in the otherwise barren desolate steppes of Wyoming. This Tampa area franchise is as I remember its kissing cousin in WY all those years ago. A storefront filled w/trinketry and cheer wine and other sundries makes it difficult to retain fiscal discipline, just as their wares in the restaurant proper make it tough to even want to retain dietary discipline. On the other hand, the Friday Night fish fries are more than worth the residual guilt! Tasty cat fish fillets supported by cheesy grits, turnip greens, and all the buttery biscuits you can handle will win over just about any palate not already familiar with Southern cuisine. Extra star for Angel, our server. Even on a very busy holiday weekend, he went above and beyond to keep our group happy. Bien hecko, don guapo!

One of the better CB’s I’ve eaten at and I’ve been to many of them. I enjoyed breakfast as I usually do. Eggs, Country Ham, Grits, Hash Browns, Apples and hot biscuits. It doesn’t get much better. This is a must stop when you’re in the area.

For a southern style diner/restaurant Big 5 Stars! It had been a few years since I’ve been to a Cracker Barrel, not for any particular reason. From Start to Finish excellent experience. Ordered the Sunday Chicken special, my date ordered the Chicken & Dumplings. Both were very good. Manager came by the Table after a few bites to make sure everything was okay. Waitress(Tori) did a great job, very friendly and added to the dining experience. I’ll make sure I’ll be back soon!

It is Cracker Barrel. If you are traveling it’s a good place to stop. I was surprised the kids breakfast didn’t come with a meat(bacon) or a drink. The pancakes were good.

We knew there was going to be a wait being that it was Valentine’s Day and I’m glad they had all the trinkets and quirky items for sale at the store. This was a good way to keep people entertained while they were waiting for seats. If you you tired yourself out from shopping, there are all the different size rocking chairs and checker sets out front where you can sit and listen for your name and party number. They decorated the walls with old signs and restaurant with wooden chairs and tables. Service is friendly and consistent. Food especially breakfast is always good here. Eggs and sausage and bacon! The pancakes are fantastic here. Flavorful(maybe due to the butter) to a point where I don’t even need the syrup and the extra butter in top lol Lunch and dinner here isn’t bad but I’d so much rather have a breakfast!

I have been to Cracker Barrel quite often lately. Well, part of the reason with that is because one of their summer seasonal menu items, I had to get it before it was gone. It is the campfire beef served in an aluminum foil along with potatoes, carrots, celery, and various other veggies like tomatoes and onion. Oh we loved this so much. We used the call ahead carry out for the first time several times. They were very efficient 2 out of the 3 times. Better when they had the take out check list that they could check the stuff off. Overall, pretty good. They were very efficient at having the food ready at the time they stated it would be ready. Today, I went with a group of 6. Our waitress Victoria, I believe her name was, was very good. She got our orders in perfect. She did everything with ease, and she was quite helpful and cheerful. I would love to have her as a waitress again. I ordered the fall seasonal menu item apricot glazed pork tenderloin with wild rice and my favorite sides, the carrots and the hash brown casserole. I also had my raspberry ice team. Those three elements there are a must have everytime I order here. I do not love chains, but I do love my Cracker Barrel and glad it is close to home for either an eat in, or a take out.

I have never eaten anything but breakfast here so my review is only for that! Cracker Barrel makes some yummy pancakes, some of the best. Of course the hashbrown casserole is awesome. And the bacon is delicious! We have a different Cracker Barrel that is closer to us but we go to this one because the quality of the cooking seems to be better here. The servers here are always friendly too.

Love the country theme and the pancakes! I always order pancakes, eggs and bacon with a cup of coffee… there is a healthy option on the menu for those who like to watch what they eat. Perfect for family or just with your significant other or even alone!
