Clothes prices were high. Most of the men’s clothes were ripped or faded. Better off at the outlet mall

Very clean and well laid out store! I went in looking for some designer shoes but did not find any. I did find a dvd for the kids to watch in the car on our trip.

Salvation Army can be hit or miss. It has been a while since I had been there, and last time I came I said I wouldn’t come back. They have a pretty decent furniture section. I like to see what types of interesting pieces they have. Perhaps because I like to be creative and see what I can do to make them my own. One of the last times I was there, we found a really nice dining table. One perfect enough for us. This time I found a tall chest for my room, and a patio table with 4 chairs. Both of them are very nice pieces that I can tell I got for a great price. Pretty excited to have found these. They can’t control what merchandise they get, but after a bit of digging or looking around, I’m sure you will find that perfect something. They have furniture, house decs, books, shoes, clothes, purses, bags. You name it, they most likely have it. Any big items will be loaded in your car for you. I’m also pretty sure if you have big items you’d like to donate, that they would pick them up for you.

I has never seen a thrift store set up this way. I think it was an old furniture store and they kept with the layout. Pretty neat. Anyway, Mom was in town and I was looking for a piece of furniture to rehab into a liquor cabinet. We found a huge old TV stand for $ 50. My Mom also went bananas and bought 3 sets of really nice wine(white & red) and margarita glasses. They ranged from $ 2 – 3 each. Super cheap. There is a ton of stuff here and it’s really organized. Made it easy for hubby to find clothes he could wear to his landscaping job and Mom to find a laptop bag for my little brother. You can tell they do a nice job of putting out clothing after it’s been«triaged». I did not run across any ripped, tattered or damaged items like I have at other area thrift stores.

This store was very close to the Goodwill store I just left. I’ve never been in a Salvation Army Store. I have to say I was impressed. A smaller store, they had a lot less than the Goodwill. They had a large selection of clothes for men and women. There were also some good prices on good selection of furniture. They advertise that they have a 50% off sale on clothes every Wednesday. Looks like I’ll go back next Wednesday.
