I am not as obsessed with Dairy Queen as much as my kids are but I must say that I do love this Dairy Queen location because it is very clean and they have the cutest little lounge area that I enjoy very much. I can almost forget the fact that the employees here are childish idiots with no customer service skills who have no business being left here unsupervised.

In the spectrum of Dairy Queens, this location is not bad. It is conveniently located in the same plaza as the Stage Deli, New York Bagel, and a bevy of boutiques.
It is a nice little walk down the boardwalk from Stage on a summer evening.
When I visited, the place was absolutely packed, mostly with families and locals. I don’t know how the quality of ice cream might vary among different Dairy Queens, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I enjoy the Ferndale location.
There is ample patio seating, and there are benches along the boardwalk. A good post-​Deli option.
