Well, I’m pleased to be able to update my review with a better rating. I returned to retry orange leaf last night since just peachy closed and I really wanted froyo. I’m definitely happy to announce that the ice cream didn’t taste sour or spoiled like I remember it had last time. The fruit toppings were all fresh and the candy toppings were plentiful. The store was clean, machines were clean, and the toppings were clean.

Although I enjoy the variety of flavors and toppings, due to terrible customer service/corporate policy, I will not be returning. My husband and I decided to sit in the back of the store, quite a distance from the checkout. That is when I noticed an obscure, small sign that said with an «Orange Leaf» card for every dollar spent you receive one point. Ten points equals a one dollar discount on your next purchase. Not noticing a sign anywhere else in the store, we finished our yogurt and asked the cashier about it. We were told this only applies at the time of purchase. We then spoke to the manager who told us the same time. That would be fine, except the only visible sign is the one in the back, around the corner on the way to the restroom. The other place the discount is mentioned is on a small screen at checkout, the problem is that the screen cycles messages, so the message isn’t always available. We were told the management was doing us a favor by offering the discount, and we were out of luck today. What good is the offer if you don’t see it unless you decide to go to the back of the store. While one dollar isn’t going to make me or break me, I will not return based on principle. Instead of honoring our purchase today and giving us the eight points we are due, they now lost two frequent customers.

This location has horrible customer service. They refused to honor a corporate 4⁄15 $ 4.15 promotion that clearly states one per person and says nothing about participating locations. Used to go here all of the time but will never return.

Other than being America’s most expensive fro-yo shop, I’m not sure what the real draw is here. If you have kids, watch what they put in the cup or even have kids share because the price gets jacked up in hurry. We had two relatively conservative portions with a couple of toppings which apparently have the molar mass of gold or lead because it was $ 13.68 for my wife and I. The concept is self serve, soft serve. You get a cup, add your flavor(s) of fro-yo, add topings, put it on the scale and a price magically appears. You have no way of knowing what your final price is going to be until you get to the scale. So again, parents and grandparents, beware. They do take plastic and you very well might need it. Other than mystery pricing(which actually doesn’t seem to appear anywhere in plain sight for customers) they place is vibrant and bright. There are about 12 flavor choices and nearly 25 toppings, so you have options. Service(although limited in the experience) is very friendly. However, if its options that I have, I very well may option to go to DQ a ½ mile north of here or get gelato from Whole Foods two doors down.

I love the pineapple frozen yogurt! I love the interior. And I like their system that I can buy them by the weight!

I’m a big frozen yogurt fan, but can’t stand the after taste that some of the new fro yo flavors have. Here I tried every flavor and there was no after taste at all. per ounce it’s definitely cheaper than other frozen yogurt self serve places in the area and the tables aren’t cramped together. Check it out!

I guess I don’t like this place as much as others because their mainstay non dairy choices are orange or pineapple and never seem to change. Also no one talks about that you can walk outta this place paying $ 20 for 3 people, it is expensive. Yes I know it’s only as expensive as how much you put in your self served bowl. That doesn’t change the fact that it is still overpriced however they weigh it out. Also I want to add that this location had no waffle cones bowls like the one on grand river, and no dividers for the bowls, plus the topping choices were better at the grand river/Farmington location.

My new favorite yogurt place! I love that they always have orange! Convenient location and friendly staff. Also, yogurt dividers make for easier decisions! Do yourself a favor and check it out!
