Kaufman Children’s Center

My son has been in the train– in program for 2 years now and has improved beyond belief. He will attend mainstream kindergarten next fall. Carrie and staff are wonderful, patient, and professional in their services. My wife and I shed tears every time our son learns a new skill or overcomes an obstacle. Worth every penny, every mile and every minute coming here 5 days a week.

My son began speech and occupational therapy at this center when he was 3.5 years old. He «graduated» from therapy at 9. During his years at Kaufman he improved by leaps and bounds – I am absolutely positive he would not have the skills he has today without the hard work and dedication of his therapists, and their endless quest to challenge him. Jessica even stood with us and helped us fight for support in his school to get the accommodations he needed. Now, at 12 years old, he was needing some help again. With one phone call, Jason (his therapist who worked with him forever) saw him immediately and made recommendations to assist my son at home. We have willingly made the hour long drive from home once to twice a week for years because this is truly THE BEST place to take children who need special help. They are truly like family!!! Thank you Nancy, Jason, Jessica, and Ruth for bringing out my son’s potential!!!

Awesome experience at the KCC! We relocated from Alabama to receive intense therapy for my son. The therapist (speech, music, occupational) used a comprehensive approach to treat my son. There is not another place I can find that looks at the entire child. The therapist are also very eager to work with the family to best incorporate ways to help the child at home.
If you are a proactive parent and want to get the best therapy for child, the KCC is the place for you. I am so thankful for the continued support I get from the staff. They took a personal interest in my son and our family and truly care about our progress. I am so thankful for Nancy and her staff. Each and everyone set the bar for therapist and professionalism.

While this person that messaged me believes that I wrote for the wrong location, I stand firm with my previous review of Kaufman’s. My child was in the Train-​In program and received other therapies here as well. While your child may improve here with services, I prefer to go somewhere with better employees and less drama behind the scenes.
