The Exceptional Smile

Dr. Fandino is one of the best dentists I’ve had. He is very thorough and good at communicating when I’ve had different conditions with my teeth or jaw and the service in general at the office is exceptional. Unfortunately I don’t live near or in the Michigan area anymore, otherwise I would be consistently visiting the Exceptional Smile. If you are in the Michigan area, I would highly recommend Dr. Fandino as a dentist.

I have so many great things to say about this dentist office that I probably don’t have enough room here! Not only did he create my new smile but he also managed to give me my self esteem back!
Dr. Fandino and his staff are not only friendly but they eased all my dental anxieties. Dr. Fandino has changed my life… I now have a beautiful smile that I love to show off rather than try to hide. He really cares about his patients. He proved that by calling me after hours following a dental procedure that I had earlier that day. I also had a complete over haul of my front teeth… he made sure that I was happy with my new smile & that it was PERFECT! I love it!

Since I recently moved to a new area, I’ve been trying to find a dentist for myself. You know, the kind that is not just «okay», but is the real deal. Sometimes going to dentists can feel like going to a car dealership with sleazy salesman. They try to push all these services on you that you «absolutely need».
Dr. Harris Gurfinkel really is an excellent dentist. He really is a very talent doctor — he performs all of his procedures painlessly. And he is not pushy. The doctors that owned this practice before him (I knew them personally) had a pretty bad reputation with their patients. Dr. Gurfinkel is awesome, and nothing like the previous owners! I’ve moved away from Michigan, but I still do think of his office very fondly and hope I can find a dentist as awesome as him in CA.
Apart from normal dental work, Dr. Gurfinkel has performed two complicated procedures on me. Specifically, about 2 years ago (give or take), I had to have an emergency root canal done. Boy, was I in pain. I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain upon anyone. A horrible bring-​you-​to-​tears kind of pain. Dr. Gurfinkel was extremely accommodating and fit me in his schedule as soon as possible. The procedure was done painlessly and I’m 100% better now.
His office is very well kept, and the customer service is excellent. If I remember correctly, they have LCD monitors in each office, and allow you to pick what kind of music you’d like to listen to. They might have TV too, but I can’t remember.
A great experience, and a great doctor to go to! I don’t easily give 5 star ratings on Unilocal,but you won’t regret going here. :)
