Bought 3 years ago, one of the most comfortable mattresses/​beds I’ve ever owned or slept on, everyone who’s slept on it says the same. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience and value. We just left the showroom and are so happy (and relieved) that we found the right mattress! Foster & Diana, the owners, were so knowledgeable and patient as we tested.
Our old mattress gave out, and we needed a new one. Went thru two replacements and lost a few hundred dollars. The first two mattresses we went through gave my sleeping partner severe back pain so he was skeptical that we would find «the one» at Verlo… Luckily, I was more hopeful and dragged him to the store.
Foster had us lay on a few beds and describe what we liked. He moved us around accordingly, answered all our questions, and gave us some space to let us lay on our favorites for however long we wanted. Perfect balance of giving us space to test/​talk vs being available to answer questions. There was no «pitch» and no pressure… only factual information and his suggestions based on experience in the industry.
The showroom is very large and has a wide range of mattresses with all kinds of softness/​firmness levels and materials. We prefer softer, more cushy mattresses, and were very satisfied with the showroom models. Also, Foster said they could customize a mattress in whatever way we wanted to make it softer or firmer… and during the first year, you get a free «comfort adjustment» with most of the mattresses to make it perfect (there’s a small charge after the first year).

This is the only place worth buying a mattress from in the area. The prices are great and the folks actually know the products they are selling and care that you are comfortable. I made the mistake of visiting a Sleepys in the area (thinking they may have a better selection) only to end up with a busted back and then a squeaky box spring. I learned my lesson. Will only buy from here. Period.

I have been wanting/​needing a new mattress for a while but after a frustrating bout with the mattress stores on Rt 100 in Exton, I stopped looking. Today I was faced with moving my 10 year old mattress from Malvern to WC and decided to pull the trigger. I’ve been seeing the signs for the Mismatch Sale at the Verlo store recently and decided to stop by on my way through town. As I sit on my new mattress to write this, boy am I glad I stopped in! Foster was awesome — so accommodating not to mention the calmest and most collected business man, running the show in his own on a Sunday afternoon! He gave me a great price and, as with every mattress, a guarantee that will last forever. He is rebuilding a mattress for my dad which my parents bought 14 years ago. Instead of badgering my dad to buy a new mattress, he told my dad what he would do to reconstruct the original and agreed to have it back in a day. No one does business like this anymore. 5 stars! Foster also said that he’s never read the reviews for his store on Unilocal so I hope one day he does and he will see how appreciated he is! Thanks Foster!

Looking to replace our old mattress and improve my aching back, I poured through the consumer reports literature and was disappointed by their insufficient info. Then I found a terrific website,
, which has everything you need to know – if you are like me and believe in thoroughly researching a product before you buy it. I realized I wanted a mattress speciality store, not one of the franchises or department stores who will sell you anything and then not work with you afterwards. In my case that was particularly important since my back hurt only after the 6 hour of sleeping, so lying on something for 20 minutes wasnt going to help.
Foster Good is the owner of Verlo and is a retired engineer. He and his staff actually build the mattresses in their Broomall warehouse. Foster was terrific, answered my many questions and pleasantly tolerated my 4 return trips before I made my purchase. Then, he gladly took the mattress back to make small adjustments-​not once, twice, three but FOUR times. (The first 2 times were free, the latter two I paid a small shipping and handling fee). Pricing was great and I paid easily a few hundred dollars less for a comparable mattress at Slee…
Verlo is a great little secret in west chester. Too bad Foster doesnt advertise more via the internet. Go there and be taken care of. Then, if you feel as strongly about the service and the product as I do, write him up on Unilocal or somewhere else.

Last year I purchased a queen sized bed for my new place. The sales girl Michelle was very helpful in talking me through the different types of beds and materials and things to look for since I have a bad back. I also bought a beeeautiful iron head board which matches my room perfectly. My bed was so comfy I referred my sister to them and she replaced her old mattress immediately! We are both very happy with Verlo’s professionalism and quality of product.

Santa (or a family member) bought me Verlo Memory Foam Pillows for Christmas, and I have never slept better!
