The staff here is so friendly, very conversational, and quick! Anything you get here will be really tasty. The bagels are always fresh and never stale. The coffee is strong and they have lots of flavored coffees if you are into that. The chicken and tuna salad melts on your choice of a bagel is bomb. Great for a quick lunch or breakfast! They have also catered events for my place of employment, so if you want something a little different for a catering, I suggest trying them out!

I love the food and the staff is always very friendly. I think I get the same salad just about every time lol… the grilled chicken salad… the ingredients are fresh and its much better than just an iceberg lettuce salad. As far as sandwiches, I like the smoked salmon and crème cheese =)(the lake murray?). Anyway, looking forward to my next visit!

I LOVETHISPLACE! Great sandwiches, excellent selection of always freshly made bagels, fast and friendly service, and inexpensive! The Paninis are great! Try the French Dip Panini(roast beef with au jus). The soups are very good and change frequently. I haven’t tried the wraps or melts yet, but they look really good too. I just keep ordering the French Dip Panini or the Charleston(Tuna salad) on toast.

Today was my second order of the grilled chicken pannini with jack cheese, black beans and Chipotle aioli.awesome. This was only my second time ever going, the first was last week and like the first reviewer, I wasn’t really wild about going there, but was glad I did. Both were at the West Columbia location and I didn’t encounter any«attitudes», they were as nice as can be. I did have to get my own napkin, but BIG deal! The only negative is their«sides», they seriously need to work on those. IFthey had decent sides, I’d give them 5 stars!

First time here– digging it! I came for a weekday lunch(apparently after 1 is the time to avoid the rush). I just ordered a simple BLT(The Charlotte I believe) toasted on rye. Really tasty and about $ 6.50. They have a pretty decent bagel variety and the soups and salad sound good. I’ll be back for a low-key lunch, I want to try their bagels and coffee drinks!

Even though they are the same owners, the restaurant near USC is better than this one. The staff in West Columbia has a small attitude and you should not ever expect them to serve your food with a napkin or have a napkin at your table. You’ll have to remember to go to the counter and get your own. The chili is less than average, like it came out of a can. The bagels are great, breakfast is good, sandwiches are good, chips are ruffles, so basically, you get an old fashioned sandwich on the bread of your choice, a small bag of chips, a quarter slice of orange, a pickle and a fountain drink for $ 10. There is nothing special about this place, it’s nowhere I’d drive far to eat, but if you’re in the area, it’s an alternative to Subway and Groucho’s when you’re not in the mood for a big meal at Mai Thai or Grecian Gardens or feel like breakfast from somewhere other than Lizard’s Thicket.
