It changed its name but still a good hole in the wall. Fairly cheap prices and hopefully they keep it that way. Ladies bathrooms aren’t the greatest and the music selection they choose isn’t the greatest. Overall still somewhat cheap.

The best in the west. This place is the go to spot for Mexi-Can seafood! For a «hole in the wall», this place embarrasses a lot of other so called«good» or «fancy» Mexi-Can’t seafood places. This place is A-1

This a small place. Let’s just say hole in the wall. I received wonderful service and tasty food. I like that they have a wide variety of hot sauce on the table and napkins so I don’t have to keep asking. The Mariachi was playing live that day. I enjoyed it as I watched soccer on the T.V. I got a dozen of oysters and they were fresh and so delicious. Top quality only for $ 13 buck. The tostada was loaded with shrimp, octopus, tomatoes and perfectly cut cucumbers. I would definitely recommend this spot if you like fresh seafood.

It’s in the hood, not a complete hole in the wall but it’s def not the most modern looking by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t mind it at all. Parking was ample but I could see it being hectic if busy. There was a live band but they were chilling most of the time till more people showed up, good live music tho. Prices seem reasonable, beer specials would be nice tho. Came here for the seafood and ordered the Aguaschiles. Pretty good, got me sweating and loosened up the mucus membranes. My friend commented he’s had better but for the location I wa more than pleased. Our server(didn’t get her name) was fairly attentive and the service was good. Although the order didn’t come with tostadas, we had to ask(wtf). Asked for some limes too, although it was no problem. Also asked for a cup of ice water and only bottled was available(points deducted). My friend also got a loaded tostada de paidceviche y Camarron. Another gem in the hood, if u dare and don’t shy away from a slightly seedy feel and good seafood.

Best hole-in-the-wall place I’ve found for great Mexican seafood! Pretty ample parking during off-hours but gets crowded on the weekends. Live mariachi band(at least on the weekends?), and definitely a dive. Never would’ve found this place had it not been by word of mouth by a coworker who is a regular ;) FOOD: Favorite is the ceviche(chopped style), extra lime. Have tried their tacos, aguachiles(perfect hangover cure), tortas, and plates. Their salsa is also one of the boy and I’s favorite. Just because a restaurant has the top-of-the-notch dining ware, furniture, floors, and décor doesn’t mean their food is good ;) Here you’ll get your fix. Cheap prices, generous portions, and delicious authentic food that you won’t find at other Mexican-seafood place. Fast, speedy service, and a great hidden gem in the south bay area. *I believe they changed management since we were here last so not sure how the quality, food/service is but will be back soon to check it out!

small restaurant, food, is alright(some dishes can be better), very friendly staff. However, very loud atmosphere with a band and a TV blasting in the background;waitress could not hear us while ordering and messed up many of our orders. Also it’s not really fit for large groups. So be prepared to shout your order and send things back. I would try it again, but maybe when I’m with a smaller party of people.

The best«micheladas» you’ll ever have. Make sure you get what they call«Chevela» even better than a michelada. And their parilladas are the awesome. Could be a bit cleaner all the way around but good food none the less.

Place name was changed to Mariscos Altata under new management. The seafood is off the hook. Had some tostadas de ceviche de camaron and my bud had the mojarra frita. Both were fresh and delicious. The chef even came out and brought some chile sauce with onions and garlic that they use on the camarones a la diabla. Sauce was honestly the best I’ve had. Next time I’m coming back for the camarones a la diabla. Sauce was too damn good.

Best Micheladas/Chavelas I ever tried and i have tried them at every seafood place i have gone to. The ceviche de pescado or camaron are both above average. The birria plate is what i usually go with and its pretty good. What i love about this place is the prices are very low, micheladas are the shit, and everything i have ever ordered is either ok or very good.

The ceviche de camarones are delicious and relatively inexpensive $ 3.95 for 2. The first time I had been here I was really impressed with the ceviche and the tostada was delicious! I ordered for pick up and the guy seemed to not understand what I wanted. The order was incorrect but the older guy fixed it on the spot. And again, the food was outstanding. Cheap and good food. Yes, I will be back!

I used to work down the street from here. All the food I have ever had from here has been good. But the one thing I miss the most is the Milanesa Torta. Not the healthiest choice of course, but oh so good. The staff here as always been friendly and after a couple visits. They remember you and treat you like a friend. Great now I’m hungry again… Yeah it’s that good. Seriously try it, you wont be disappointed. And the prices are good. Good food good prices good people. Good grief, What are you waiting for?

Great little inexpensive Mexican seafood place we have been going to for lunch for years. Looks like a dive but its actually pretty good. It’s down the street from our work place so whenever anybody wants a cozy outdoor lunch that’s where we head to. Cash only place so bring some greens or pay the high fee to use the ATM they have in the place. We love the camarones rancheros(shrimp in a picante tomato-based sauce), great tacos, fresh sauteed Tilapia, and yummy shrimp cocktail(the kind that looks like soup). We love their shrimp and crab tostada too, very succulent. You gotta try it! We’ve yet to run into anything they make that we didn’t like. I’ve been here before in the weekends and it’s packed and vibrant. Actually, it’s full all the time it seems. They usually have a guy singing, which adds to the chill atmosphere. And you always find«the guy» selling the latest DVD’s and Cd’s while you eat LOL. Great atmosphere. It’s pretty cheap. Food is fresh. Sit outside with a cold beer… you’ll feel like you are on vacation in Mexico… or at least like you are in Ports O’ Call LOL!!!

I no longer have to drive out to Mariscos Chente… To satisfy my craving for Ceviche de camaron crudo! Raw shrimp ceviche… Yum yum yum :) It’s super cheap too, only $ 3.75 a plate and they give you plenty of shrimp. The tostada is crunchy and full of sweet corn flavor, yet perfectly salted. Raw oysters, grilled and deep fried Tilapia were yummy as well. Service was attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking in their private lot. The bf and I are so happy that our friend introduced us to this place :) Yay!

I really like the ceviche here. It’s simple and delicious. I usually get the ceviche with shrimp and jaiva(imitation crab). It comes with tostadas, avocado, and limes. This place can get pretty crowded, so I like to call in the order ahead of time.
