My husband and I absolutely love this place! We go all the time! He gets the beef wang box and I got the mushroom wang box. Every time I go the service is amazing as well as the food! I wasn’t feeling well and we had been moving all day, stopped in for some lunch and one of the girls was so kind it really turned my day around! My husband went back a week or so later and she asked how the move went! That’s awesome customer service! The honeydew slush is awesome! Not too sweet but not bland either. I believe this other reviews are old because every time we go there are people in and out the entire time so I know we’re not the only ones that LOVE the food

My friend and I came here for lunch. The owner was a pretty cool guy but a little pushy. I’ve been here before for the boba but they didn’t have any actual food at that time. Since we were both too lazy to drive to our normal curry place and were in the mood for curry, we came here. We both ordered the lamb curry. It was freshly made and tasted pretty decent. Though I could not shake the fact that something was missing from it. The portions was ok but the price for the lamb curry was a tad too high. So to sum things up: Wasn’t bad but didn’t wow me either nor did I feel the quality or portions justify the price. With that said, still worth checking out on the off chance they have improved.

This is REAL Indian food!!! The best I’ve ever tasted! I am not a fan of boba only mango slushy, but you can get that anywhere. This restaurant gives you a true taste of another culture and should be tried by all!

Review for now. I’m not sure if I’ll go back or not. Chai Café reminded me of a place I frequented in college in terms of selling Indian food and boba! I was excited when I found that out especially since this area lacks Indian food; however, I was a bit disappointed. They are fairly new and close to where I live, so I’ll give them that. With them being new, not everything on the menu was available. The owner was saying something about the health inspector approving paperwork and such. The selection of the Indian food was very limited. I went straight for my go-to dish: chicken tikka masala and wanted a side-order of garlic naan. Alas! No garlic naan to be had! Sorely disappointed, I went ahead and ordered the masala anyway. The owner assured me that it’s a special chicken tikka masala and it’s delicious. Turns out that the masala was not creamy and a bit on the lumpy side. I’ve had my share of this dish and I’ve never had a lumpy version. This one was a bit on the bland side and only had a hint of spiciness here and there. Since there was boba on the menu, I tried ordering an almond milk tea but they didn’t have that either. :(The owner recommended the regular milk tea with boba and there was a buy one get one free deal. Sure, why not. The milk tea was okay. It was smooth and a bit sweet for me but the boba was just«meh.» Not to sound nit-picky but I also noticed the milk tea was not fully filled to the brim unlike most tea places where the tea oozes out as soon as you poke your straw through it. I’ll give the guy credit for effort for customer service and trying to sell his food/drinks to me, reassuring me that everything will be ready in a couple weeks. We’ll see how I feel by then.

I gave them another try. It was bad! Their Thai tea was non-sweetened. It was so bad, I didn’t finish it. The owner gave me free boba in my Thai tea. The wife got the boba milk tea again. She was not happy with the drink. She was not happy that the owner went from cooking to making our drinks without washing hands. The owner is a very nice guy. But, I need to take a couple of stars away from him. This rating is still only for the drinks. I still want to rate him for his Indian food.

This store is located in the HK2 Plaza literally a couple doors down from Krua Thai. It recently opened and currently has a buy one get one free special for ALL their drinks. They serve various teas, smoothies, and icy drinks. My family and I ordered their milk tea with boba, lychee icy, and mango icy. All the drinks were delicious, the mango drink is a MUST! We got 4 drinks for less than $ 5.00 thanks to their special. The interesting part about this café is that they also serve Indian food. The owner, Dill, said they will start serving Indian food next month since his equipment is coming from India. He is very friendly and treats his customers great. My family has already been there 3 times this past week. The prices are very reasonable(even w/o the current special). The pricey Tapioca express across the plaza will definitely have competition! What better way to survive the summer heat with a tasty drink from Chai café? Everyone should go and buy drinks here!
