LOVE this place! You’ll find me here constantly! The Philly Cheesesteaks are so delicious! They have such a great tasting flavor. As of now, this is my favorite fast food place. I never liked any of the options they had at the food court until I tried Charley’s. The lemonades are good as well! Definitely come here next time you’re in the food court. Good, good meal.

I really enjoy this place for steak sandwiches and the fries are great too. I don’t really have problems when ordering my sandwiches, especially since I only get them with meat and mushrooms.

I ordered a steak sandwich with no lettuce the cashier looked lost while I was ordering once I got my sandwich it was not even cooked right and it has lettuce once I asked the cook if the order said with lettuce he gave me an attitude and said if I didn’t like the sandwich I would have to wait 20 minutes for him to prepare another one(I was the only costumer) worst experience ever, they definitely need to upgrade their costumer service after all you are paying for what you order.

I ask for extra grilled onions, got zero, and they dumped onions cooked for 20 seconds on my sandwich. The meat was not great either. I want the Great Steak Company back!

You don’t even understand how much I love this place. I’ve never liked eating at food courts I feel like the food is rushed and not made the way it should be. Well not as this place! I love their Philly cheese steak sandwich! It’s fresh and yummy just how I like my food :)

I heart Charley’s!!! The food is well-prepared and tastes great! New management has taken over, and this guy is awesome. He really cares about making people happy. He’s there all day – be must have back problems, because all I ever see him do is work. The blueberry lemonade is so chill! Eat at Charley’s!

Oh Charley’s .I love eating here but is very much over priced. They add very little lettuce and it’s not worth 8 plus bucks. i got a small sub and fries for 8.50 with no soda. dear god.smh.they are good but I think I’ll go somewhere else if I’m craving a cheesesteak. .oh and they take forever to make your food.

Great food! Amazing service. Ordered the BBQ cheddar steak subbed steak for chicken. Chicken teriyaki is great too. Food is fresh & hot! By far the best strawberry lemonade I’ve ever tasted. Drove to the mall just for this place!

Buyer Beware!!! The rating is strictly on the fact that my card was charged twice. First on the day I visited the establishment under the companies name, then 3 days latter under the general managers name Eric Yoon. WTF! New staff is a bit slow but, food taste good.

I was kind of hoping for a little more from this place food-wise. It was a bit disappointing with their sandwiches though. The samples that they were giving out were really good, maybe because they cut everything into bite sized pieces? But when I ordered the full sandwich(California chicken: which is white chicken with ranch, provolone, lettuce, and tomato) it did not come close to tasting like the sample. The order was rushed and there was no ranch, there was an overkill on cheese to rest of sandwich ratio, BUT the redeeming quality was the strawberry lemonade. I’m not kidding, there’s something magical about it; magical like I would drive there just to get another cup. The service is ok. The lady at the counter was kind of rude, like I was just looking at the menu and she gave me this look like can you please hurry up? But the guy making the sandwich was super friendly when he asked how i wanted my sub.

Poorest excuse for a Philly steak sandwich… ever. Although it is not in the description, they add lettuce and tomato to the sandwich. WEAK! Way over priced too!

So I took my brother here hoping for a pretty bomb tasting gourmet sub. boy was the food subpar, and the service even worse. I should have known better. I should have taken him to Jersey Mike’s at least or something. It being located in the food We got the pepperoni steak bomb combo that obvi came with fries a drink. I asked the lady how much more would the fries be if we upgraded to gourmet fries instead. and clearly she said 1.99, so then I agreed to upgrade it. The guy who was making the food gave us fries, which was completely NOT the gourmet one that we ordered. I was staring at it thinking WTH is this, it was just fries with cheese sauce on it.(«gourmet» fries came with bacon and ranch and other things). He obviously saw me looking at the fries and he didn’t even bother to ask me what was wrong. Finally, I said«doesn’t it come with bacon and such?» and all he said was«oh you want bacon in it?» UMMHELLYEAH I want freaking bacon in it, isn’t it what I paid for? Pretty unbelievable. after that incident. I began looking at my receipt and noticed that she charged me a dollar extra, I was like wait. kinda suspicious. so I came back to talk to her and asked her why I was charged a dollar extra(I know this is such an Asian move, but hey a dollar extra is still a dollar extra). Her response was that she told us that it was 2.99, when she did say it was 1.99. Honestly if she provided me with the correct information I would have been okay with it. Clearly ZERO star for those 2 strikes, but 1 star for the sub JUST because my brother said it was filling.(note just because) seriously smh.

Best hot sandwich fresh and made to order. Great service and food at a reasonable price. Love to use my punch card to earn a free purchase.

Since I haven’t tried this place before and I was in the mood for some cheese steak sandwich I came here. Friendly staff working there, but the food was ok. I didn’t really like it though. Their cheese steak sandwich had mayo, tomatoes, lettuce. I bought the combo with fries which were ok, nothing extraordinary about them.

ok, so i hadn’t been to the food court at the west cochina mall in what seems like years but i was craving cheese steak sandwich from«california cheese steak» and you can imagine my disappointment when i went there and found charley’s. i then thought maybe it’s the same food just under a different name — well it’s not. the once perfect wannabe cheese steak with mushrooms, peppers and provolone was no more, instead i ate its mediocre cousin. and what was once arguably the best fries i’d ever had in my life were downgraded to just pretty good. also the prices were not reflected in the portions. my sandwich was way overpriced for the little bit of meat and vegetables in it. i will not be going out of my way to eat at this mall’s food court ever again. if you want a good sandwich, go to new york’s finest located in the southwest corner of the mall parking lot along west covina prkwy and sunset.

I was craving a sandwhich but didn’t want the typical Subway or Quizno’s that I normally get. So I headed for Charley’s and even though they didn’t have a large selection, the selection they did have looked yummy. So we waited in line which seemed like forever but it was only because the people in front of us was taking so dang long to order. I mean there isn’t much to choose from so what is the freak’n hold up?! But once we finally ordered and paid, they were pretty fast in cooking our order so that was a good thing. I ended up just getting a simple ham and cheese with mushroom sandwhich. My boyfriend got their famous Philly Cheesesteak. My food was pretty good. I think next time I’ll order something else though like their Philly Cheesesteak or Teriyaki Chicken sandwhich. It looked more appetizing than my simple ham and cheese. That was my bad! We also shared a «gourmet’ fries order which is fries with cheese and bacon bits. It was pretty damn good and this is coming from a chick who normally does not like fries. My only complaint is the price. I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get. I feel they should knock down the price by a buck or two. My sandwich alone was $ 4.99 not including drink or fries. That’s another $ 2.50 or so. I mean I know it’s just mall food, but that’s exactly why I feel they need to bring the price down a bit. I could get a bigger sandwhich at Subway for the same price. The food was good and delicious, but it’s not the best value I get for my buck.
