I love this place gone there since the beginning of 2000 food is great and it’s all you can eat. The price has gone up but it’s worth it

Wasn’t a big fan of the selection which of course impacted what you can really make. Works in a pinch if you’re craving Mongolian and have nowhere else to go but with so many other options out there it’s not like I’d go out of the way to come here.

$ 13 dinner all you can eat. Small place, didn’t have a long wait on a Friday, but all you can eat. Make sure you out more veggies and meat and little noodles.

I love this place. They have great food and great service. The lady was very nice to me and conversant we with me about the weather, even though she had other tables she still took time to talk for a few seconds which in my eyes gave her an A+. The price you pay you get a lot. I came during lunch time. It’s wasn’t packed. I got my food and ate it all in 30 min. They give you bread, wontons and soup. I mean it’s a good deal. This place is a must try!!!

Do not come on a weekend unless you want cross contamination galore. Seriously! If you do decide to come on a Friday or Saturday evening be prepared for long lines and meat mixed with other frozen meat and random meat, vegetable and condiments mixed into the sauce bowls. Gross. The wait is terrible on a weekend as well. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes per round. I lost my appetite before I even hit the first round seeing how barbaric people got fighting over food and making a mess of the place. The owners know about the cross contamination issues but don’t take it seriously. The fruit and jello area are a mess too, they stop refilling those things around 7:45 pm even though they close at 9:00 pm(at least on the day I went). Overall for $ 13-$ 14 a person to get sick… just gross thinking about it.

Family favorite. We’ve been coming here for well over 10 years. The ownership hasn’t changed & neither have the cooks. Amazing cooks. Delicious bread pockets, crispy wontons, sweet & sour, impeccable service from the sweet lady owner. Minus one star because I think they have a B rating & the price has increased a lot over the years. In agreement with Jennifer M. below, we never touch the salad bar.

Good food the cook knows what hes doing. The one thing that i dont like about this place is how they dont have the bread pockets out for you and when they do come out its only two when every other place gives 4 pita pockets. The waiters also take long to notice when you need a refill. Besides that the food is great make sure to stack your bowl with noodles and beef.

I now drive from Claremont to just off Grand Avenue on the 10Fwy going East. This place has Lamb. Lamb, my favorite. I am older so I don’t eat as much but what I eat, I like to have quality and enjoyment. Last place that I used to go for decades has lost me as a customer so when a colleague told me of this place, we went and I am here to state that I have found my new place to have Mongolian when I am in the mood. As in most Mongolian self spice places, one is responsible for the amount of garlic, oil and curry or other spices one mixes along with veggies. I prefer cilantro, lots of it, some fresh minced garlic, bean sprouts, mushrooms and bell peppers. The rice and soup was average but the reason I state this is because I have to return a few times to experience the consistency and flavors to really judge them. They do have a dessert bar that consists of fresh oranges, jello, kimchee, and someother stuff. That’s different. I am just happy that this place exists and that I did not experience after meal effects that I did with the place that I and my fellow professors no longer go to.

This place is awesome!!! The food is so good here and the service is awesome too. It is very outdated, but the food is worth it. The employees are very nice and hospitable. This place is a hidden little gem unlimited food and bread? You can’t ask for more.

Food is average… don’t understand why they are so inflexible about their all you can eat pricing for lunch!

The four stars fooled me :( They have no sign outside so I had to go by the Unilocal picture of their window. Walked in and immediately noticed the outdated décor. Not judging a book by its cover we went ahead and asked for a table for 2. The lady told us to start getting our food. The first thing I noticed was the meat… it looked like it had been frozen and thawed out. I decided to skip the meat and went straight to veggies. The tongs to grab the food felt grimy. The seasoning selection was typical. The very nice cooks cooked my food, added extra sauce and still I felt like something was missing. It was just okay… Didn’t even bother with their«salad bar» it looked sad and like the food had been out forever. $ 31 for two«okay» plates.

Pretty good place. I’ve been here twice before. I came with my BF for dinner $ 13 all u can eat. We had two plates each of chicken and beef with veggies. Drinks are $ 1.50 with 4 refill cap. There was only one server there but she did a great job tending to everyone. It was a decent turnout on a Thursday evening too. Dinner comes with«chips» and sweet and Sour sauce. It’s a cozy little spot in a lots with a bunch of other mom And pops and businesses. It’s one of the most local Mongolian spots(way better than the malls too).

I’ve been coming here for years! I love it! They’re friendly and the food is delicious! When they are cooking your food, they ask if you want a little«flavor», it’s their house sauce… Say YES. It makes a big difference. Lunch time is about $ 9, one trip only. Dinner is about $ 13, all you can eat. Great little spot!

Love coming to this place, I at least come once a week, I enjoyed eating here, the food is great so is the service, the people who own this place are great they’re always offering refills on sodas even when your not half way done, the older guy that cooks the food is very friendly I always tip him!!! The best employee at this place.

Good food, modest, simple and fairly clean place. This restaurant rests during 2 – 5 pm. About $ 13 each, all you can eat. Easy parking, next to 10 fwy in a small old plaza, next to a Denny’s.

Do you like piling as much food as you humanly can into one bowl? Do you like fresh veggies and good sauces cooked together with noodles? Do you like feeling like you’ve entered the 70’s? If so this is the place for you! Great for all types of people with different tastes. You can choose from three different types of meat and from many types a great veggies! Not to mention all of the sauces. Once you have put all you can in your bowl just proceed to end of the line put some sesame seeds or sesame oil if you like than hand it over to the chef and watch as they cook it. They give you wonton strips with a sweet and sour sauce, awesome sesame bread that makes a great pocket for your food. They have Siracha and soy sauce at the table and upon request rice! Being a vegatarian I enjoyed the selection of veggies. Water chesnuts, bean sprouts and zuchini being some of my favorites. My only complaint would be that the spinach had a bit too much steam on it making it too stringy once cooked. The service is quick and friendly. They have booths and tables and decent room for parties of eight or ten. The décor is dated but who cares when your eating delicious food. I’m in love with this place.

Meat Quality: Excellent(Large, good pieces of lamb) Vegetable Quality: Good, Great Selection, unique vegetables include spinach, water chestnut, baby corn, cilantro, pineapples… your basic onions and bean sprouts etc are there as well. Sauces: On the blander side. You need to put a decent amount of sauce to get some flavor going. Cooking: They keep it pretty simple. Guy doesn’t add any seasoning; just water, and stirs it around. They do an okay job. In general, it feels like you’re at a mongolian camp in the movie«Mulan» and it’s the buffet line. The food is okay; sauces are a little weak. ++ For being nice and letting people take their leftovers from AYCE Dinner home. PS. AYCE Dinner is now $ 12.95.

I have no idea why I did not write a review for this place sooner. I guess because I haven’t gone in such a long time. A friend told me about this place about fifteen years ago, as a teen. I have loved it since, but rarely make it over here due to distance. Although I visit places not close to me quite often, it is rare that I go this direction. When he introduced me to this place I had no idea what was in store. A delicious meal was what was in store. It’s a delicious Mongolian BBQ place where you create your own meal and watch it cook right in front of you. You grab a bowl and start out with your raw meat. I grab chicken and beef. I honestly can’t remember if they offered other meats but they look similar. They were not labeled as something else on my last visit so I was assuming that they were beef. Next you add on any veggies you’d like. They have the little corn, water crest nuts, onions, mushrooms, jalapenos, I think maybe pineapple was even there too. Then you move on to your noodles. Pile it the best you can, the meat sucks up a nice portion of the bowl but it shrinks when cooked.(which means you should also grab a good portion of frozen raw meat if you want a good amount) At the end you add your sauce. They have a good dozen or so to choose from. I have always chosen the teriyaki, and I put quite a few scoops in for more flavor. This last visit my husband noticed garlic and I piled some of that on too. I love garlic! You hand the bowl to the cook and he cooks it within minutes(if even that) right in front of you. He pours it on a fresh plate and now you have your delicious meal! While you are going through this process the waiters get your drink order and have it ready for you. You also come back to some other goodies such as soup, crispies(I like to call them that, I honestly don’t know the name, but I love them) with sweet and sour sauce, and some sesame bread looking thing. I’m not sure what it is exactly. Usually they also give you rice but I didn’t get it on this last visit and I forgot to ask. I saw them bringing it to other people so it may be upon request now. Lunch is about $ 8.95 a person. You get one plate, so make it a good one. They shut down for a few hours and open back up for dinner. Dinner is all you can eat and cost about $ 4 more. So, if you want dinner, come hungry. My friend gave up bringing me for dinner because I am one of the worst people to bring for those. My stomach is much smaller than my eyes and cannot eat a lot most days. You can get to go boxes for lunch but sometimes dinner may be an issue because people would cheat the system. If you choose, you can walk up to the mini snack or dessert bar, if that is what it is. It’s mostly fruits like oranges and pineapples, and jello. If you want a fortune cookie, you grab it from there too. The price is not bad at all for what you get. The setting is fairly quiet. I have always loved this place and I really should visit more often!

Every once a while(3 yr) I feel want to eat Mongolian BBQ. The place was empty around 5:20. I was worried because it was awkward especially it is an AYCE restaurant. Later few groups of people coming in so there’s sometimes a wait for the food to be cooked. The waitress soon brought out the appertizer, fried wonton skin, egg drop soup and sesame bread. The fried wonton skin, nothing special about it but at least crispy. Really not a big fan of that red sweet sour dipping sauce. Egg drop soup, very salty. Sesame bread, tested old. Well, if they could put it in the oven for 30 seconds it would taste good but I don’t know why they didn’t bother doing that. Salad bar, didn’t even try it. I think it has jello, few type of veggies and fruits. Fortune cookie, not fresh at all:(I usually love eating fortune cookies but I don’t like not crunchy one. There are 4 types of meat to choose from. Lamb is probably the best among all 4. chicken pork, beef and lamb.(even though I did not try chicken and pork). Beef was kind chewy. It happened before at AYCE hot pot, beef will taste chewy and dry if quality is not that good. Vegetable choices were all fresh. I like my 3rd plate, I only put lamb, spinach, water chestnut, onion. garlic and house special sauce. I think keep it simple actually the best way to make sure it won’t taste strange My 2nd plate I put ginger sauce with garlic sauce, WRONG combination. Since it’s AYCE so instead putting everything in one bowl I would prefer make few more trips. The service was nice and came refill our drink few times before we even ask for. In the same plaza as Denny’s, House of Louie and AYCE sushi. One entrance of the plaza is sharing with the apartment complex??? I was confused…
