I honestly don’t know what happened to this place. I used to eat here on the regular 5 months ago. Before their service was quick and easy, now it too nearly 40 minutes to cook my fish order. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Rather go to Waba grill

Stopped in last night to grab a bite and was very pleased with the taste. The service was great, and the food was delicious. Located in a plaza style strip, with adequate parking, across from the mall.

It has good service and one of the cashier is so nice and helpful. Julie is a great employee so helpful she always has been nice to all of her customers.

Good food and staff is friendly. Place is clean most of the time I’ve visited this place. The wait can be long sometimes. They need to work on their speed. I’d rate it a ⁷⁄₁₀.

Im addicted to the chicken bowls here they are the BOMB. Really recommend eating here!

I. Absolutely. Love. This. Place.
I’ve been here a couple times now to know the quality of their food and their service. For example, I came in 15 minutes before closing time (9pm) on a Monday and I was still greeted and served good food. And needless to say, I wasn’t the last one to walk in the door that night, but everyone was still greeted nicely, servers were patient with explaining the menu, and everyone still got good food in time.
I always get the grilled white fish combo for a great deal of $ 5.95! It comes with rice (brown rice is extra), a side of steamed veggie and garlic bread. There are two seasonings for the fish, garlic butter or Cajun. But let me let you in on a little secret… You can do BOTH for your fish! Best of both worlds! On a side note, all the fish plates does take about 0 minutes to make. But they do post a hand-​written sign as a forewarning to the customers. So be patient, it’s definitely worth it!
There are other menu items, however, I like sticking with this simple, yet delicious combo. But I will definitely come back for more of this some-​what healthy alternative!

Great service, good food, and affordable prices. They’re also very quick, which makes it a go to during my lunch breaks at work. Everyone I’ve encountered so far has also been extremely polite.

Chicken bowls are very good and will customize for breast meat. Love the specials prices are good and food is tasty

The broccoli is so raw I cannot eat it. Everything else is just like another wabagrill copy cat mode.

This is the perfect place if you’re looking to eat somewhere healthy after a workout. I ordered the grilled white fish and loved every bite of it. It was only $ 5.49 and filled me up. Very friendly staff and I’m hoping to go back in the near future.

Came here at 11 and it was pretty busy with only one cashier. When I got my food I was pretty disappointed with the quantity. I don’t think I’ll pay $ 7 for their salmon bowl, I feel like I get way much more at Waba Grill or Flame Broiler. I probably will not be coming back, there was nothing about it exciting to want me to get it again. It was very plain.

Okay so I’m not a big reviewer, but I had to review this place.
Bf & I were debating on dinner wanted something healthy. We were going to hit up Togos next door when we saw Volcano grill and the sign of 2 chicken bowls for $ 8.99! We wanted flame broiler to begin with but it was closed, so we decided to try Volcano Grill.
Establishment: We walked in & it was nice and clean. VERY bright. The menu was easy to read & offered a lot of different options. The prices were great too!
Service: The girl at the front was really nice. Her eyes were watery so she had clearly been crying, regardless she smiled and was super sweet. Explained the menu and answered all our questions. Very helpful.
Food: We ordered 2 teriyaki chicken tacos & the 2 bowl special. Substituted our rice for half veggies half rice. 50 cents substitution each. Whatever. I want my veggies.
This was way better than Waba & Flame Broiler combined & this is without talking about price. The chicken was juicy & the veggies were cooked perfectly. The teriyaki sauce was not overwhelming or overly sweet.
The tacos were STUFFED with meat & guac! So good!
Although they forgot my veggies they didn’t hesitate to give them to me when I called.
Overall I loved it here. Specially the fact that they have Louisiana Hot Sauce & green onions outside to help yourself. I love me some sauce!
Only negative is the side of zucchini we got on the second trip. It’s just 2 slivers of zucchini. Megh. Not a big deal, I’ll stick to the side o’veggies .

From the moment you walk in this place exceeds expectations. The staff is always very helpful and nice. The food you can never go wrong with anything you order, it all tastes great and fresh. Portions are nice and filling as well. 2 bowls for under $ 10? How can you beat that? Enjoy coming here.

The customer service could be better here but with that being said they always bring my to go order to me instead of yelling for me to come get it like other places do and I appreciate that.
The chicken teriyaki bowl here taste great and is a good size! My dad is a vegetarian so it’s nice that they have fish plates with different seasoning options. They had a salmon plate but the last time I was here I couldn’t find that option again :/​I hope they bring it back so I can try it.

This was my first time here, but will absolutely not be my last.
I ordered the grilled white fish special at the low price of $ 5.95 (What?)
It was a perfectly seasoned, grilled, and generous portion of Swai Fish.
–no rice, and more veggies (50 cents extra) —
Brought my food back to the office, and it was still steamy hot. The Swai had a nice hint of lemon juice to it as well. It also came with a piece of garlic bread, which was too delicious to resist.
Everything tastes, looks, and smells delicious. Glad I found a new healthy and reasonably priced lunch spot near work!
*someone please tell me how «cajun» is, because once I see the words: «garlic butter,» the possibility of me choosing any other flavor is pretty much nonexistent.

Out of all the local teriyaki chicken bowl places in the area. I would put this place in the top 3. Their salmon plate is excellent! What sets this place apart from Flame Broiler and Waba grill is the quality of the food. Flame broiler doesn’t offer a salmon dish and fresh avocado and Waba grill’s salmon is not up to par. Give this place a try. You wont be disappointed!

Let’s cut to the chase. We try our best to serve good food to our customers. The owner himself, spends everyday making any type of seasoning or thinking of different ways to make the sauce & meat taste better than the generic teriyaki restaurants around here. Emphasis on everyday. So trust me when I say that we serve real food to real people. There are no hidden chemicals or powders in any of our products & items.
We are not a franchise nor a corporation & that’s the best part. We serve you quality food at really reasonable prices. That’s the main difference between us and everyone else. The owner bends over backwards for a smile from a customer & that is a genuine fact.
My personal favorite is the salmon. The salmon that we serve is FRESH, never ever frozen. At the best quality, it won’t hurt to eat it raw. So i definitely recommend that.
So if you’re reading this before coming in, it won’t hurt to try. I would say yes, that we are similar to the other teriyaki restaurants out there but we are definitely original to the taste.

I have been here plenty of times & the salmon plate never fails me. That garlic bread, steamed veggies & salmon with garlic sauce yum yum yum!
Environment: the restaurant is very clean & the employees are all nice. There is a big parking lot so no need to worry about parking.
Price: GREAT prices for healthy food!

Hold up, hold up …
I didn’t even know this was a chicken bowl place and past it all the time. I was always confused about the name, and just never gave it a try. My buddy recommended this place for chicken bowls as they had good deals to eat and save for later.
Four chicken bowls for under $ 20 bucks, thought that was pretty nice, as I usually left other places (cough cough, Flame Broiler) with a $ 11 lunch haha. You can substitute for brown rice, and still get four bowls for about $ 21 bucks.
I eat one, and have lunch and dinner for the next day. Uggghhh, all i eat is chicken and brown rice right now, but man, this place does it well.
The staff is friendly, the place is really clean, and the portions are actually better than you would think.
I have only had the chicken so far, but their Tilapia looks amazing. That will be next!
