Marshalls

I love Marshall’s! And this location is one I would describe as a «Good Marshall’s». Good prices, good selection, friendly enough staff, my only but in this list of good thing is the restrooms. They seem like they’re almost never clean, and my number one pet peeve for any woman’s public restroom is when there is no hook to hang your purse. That’s like a women’s restroom necessity!

Seems like this store is smaller than other Marshalls. Merchandise is organized nicely and the staff seem friendly and professional. This is the only Marshalls that I have left without buying anything.

I will get into debt with this store. They have the cutest home décor and Christmas décor. Everything is pretty organized. I was asked if I needed help a couple of times, and thought that was very nice.

I really enjoy coming here. From time to time I can find things super cheap and just what I was looking for. I only wish parking was a little better but everything is organized so that’s great. I wish the store was bigger! Overall though I give a stamp of approval, great items at low cost with nice house hold selection and kid section.

This place is a MESS. Clothes and random items are EVERYWHERE. There is a complete lack of organization. Also, I hope you don’t have to use the restroom because it is dirty with paper towels and trash covering the floor. I stopped by because I was in DSW, and this will be my only trip to this location. The only reason it gets two stars is because they had the item I needed.

I Love this store, the ladies that work there are always helpful and friendly. The store is not as messy as other reviews have said, it is always busy in there and most of that mess is created by customers I’m sure. I always find great deals, and find bargains too good to pass by. Give this Marshalls a try :)

Store is a bit of a mess! Clothes galore packed on the racks. It is overwhelming if you are not prepared to dig through the mess. However, you could find some good deals if you are patient and get in the zone. I will call it treasure hunting of sorts.

The ladies are so nice here! I mean everyone working in the store was super helpful and happy! I bought some really cute work & casual clothes and I never find anything in the La Verne store. I will be back :)

This place is cheaper than Macy’s but more expensive than Ross. Pretty messy!
However…let me tell you why I gave it close to a 4, I was casually walking around with my fiancé, looking for frames and I vocalized it to him as I couldn’t find them… a friendly associate with the name of «Gina» was super helpful and over heard me. She not only smiled and showed me she listened, she also proactively walked me there! What a sweet gal! Thanks, Gina, I won’t forget you!

I grew up going to Ross and I still prefer it over Marshalls. The exact same purses, towels, and cutlery are 10−40% cheaper at Ross. Marshalls bridges the gap between the Ross shoppers and the Nordstrom Rack/Loehmann’s clientele so the people here seem a little less rough and the store is a a couple notches more organized. But if you’re going for cheap items anyway, you might as well go to Ross and sift through all the racks and piles to find your deals.
The one good thing about Marshalls is the incredibly cheap doggy poop bags (less than half the price of Petco).

The selection is equivalent to what you see at Ross (not just its neighboring one, but a majority of the Ross stores you’ll see). It is pretty messy and there isn’t that much to see. I think Burlington tops both Marshalls and Ross in this plaza!

Considering the amount of traffic they get in this store, the store is kept somewhat organized and clean. As I look around, I see staff actually working. Boy, they hustle here. In these types of stores, items are jammed on racks. You need to have some patience to go through the racks to find the items you need. With this in consideration, the staff actually keep things in the correct categories of items. If it is there, it’s there. If it is not there, they most likely don’t have it. They have a nice variety of items as well. If you have patience and a good eye, they have some key finds on clearance. The shoe section is insane! This Marshalls location is much better than many of the other Marshalls in So Cal.

growing up, eastland’s was the closest shopping area to us. back in the day, it was run down but it’s been since renovated and lots of stores and restaurants have been added. but marshall’s has always been here and served me well!
out of the ross /​TJ maxx /​marshall’s there are always some that are super unorganized with long waits (see ross at eastland — yuck!) but this marshall’s is definitely not. walking in, everything is in its place and the check out line is awesome — they always have lots of cashiers, use those automatic signs that tell the person next up which cashier to go to when, and have interesting random merchandise to look at (candles, picture frames, snacks) while you’re waiting.
while this marshall’s is great for finding household goods and decorations and have the usual clothing, accessories, etc that all marshall’s sell, the main reason why i come to this marshall’s is that they have a great selection of womens’ dress shoes (mainly cute pumps and flats — just my cup of tea!) and always have a decent selection of sizes so i can fall in love with a shoe AND find it in my size. twice now i’ve spotted shoes at the mall (once in nine west, another anne klein at norstrom) that i’ve loved but couldn’t afford. and a few months later i eagerly purchase them at this marshall’s for 50% off!

I love bargain stores and this Marshalls has to be on top of my list. It’s clean, well-​organized, and packed with tons of goodies; one of the best I’ve visited. They have huge clearance sections and the staff here are usually more helpful and welcoming than lower-​end bargain stores like Ross.
I’ve found things from $ 2 soap dispenser/​cup/​toothbrush holders to $ 20 Free People dresses to $ 25 knee-​high heel boots to $ 8 top-​of-​the-​line hair products to $ 10-​$ 20 unique looking bags to even $ 5 Lancome make up!
So if you’re broke from the holidays yet have a new years resolution to «build» your wardrobe, Marshalls in Covina should be your next stop! :o)
