Travelin’ Joe

Well, I was traveling and I wanted some coffee. Travelin’ Joe seemed the perfect choice. Too bad the coffee isn’t up to par.
The free stuff brewed with the continental breakfast were I stayed overnight was superlative compared to the house specialty. Server was also on the snippy side– I mean, if you’re not a morning person, don’t work in a coffee house, darlin’.
Cute décor shows that the proprieter has some concern. Second star for not being the worse coffee I’ve ever had.\
Update: A year later, I’m back at Travelin’ Joe since it’s the only place near MDSW Fairground open early enough to get some java. Fortunately the prune faced miss that took care of me last year was not present, the coffee was quite good and the bacon, egg and cheese on an english muffin was hardy enough to sustain me throughout the day.
