Best pizza in west hartford! ! With the plethora of pizza joints in west hartford, harrys bishops is the place to go. I usually go with an eggplant and roasted red peppers cooked on the well done side, but pretty much any and all of their toppings won’t dissapoint. Still our favorite pizza. Very had to beat. We ordered a large, Polpetina with pepperoni. It’s an exceptional pie! We also ordered two bottles of wine for the table. The prices for bottles are very low and affordable. The waitress was very nice and very knowledgeable. It was a perfect evening.

Lunch with wife on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Seated promptly our waitress was very courteous. She took our drink order and gave us some time to choose our pizza toppings. In the meantime she brought our drinks and the salad we shared. We finally decided and ordered a small pizza with meatballs, mushrooms, and roasted peppers. Then we were able to relax and enjoy the well portioned salad. Everything was nice and fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette dressing was delicious. Pizza was brought out at just the right moment. A small is perfect for a couple to share. This one was made just right. Thin crust, not soggy, and was covered with a perfect amount of toppings. We really liked it. Every so often our waitress checked on us to ensure we were satisfied. She was very good. At the end of this delicious meal our waitress offered us a free taste of lemon Italian ice. We accepted and two small scoops were brought out. It was a perfect way to «cleanse the pallet» and finish the meal. The cost value to food quality ratio here is perfect. Final bill(including tip) was less than $ 30. Nice. Bottom line is that Harry’s(at Bishops Corner) serves a delicious pizza at a fair price. We really enjoyed this visit and, if you check it out we hope you do to. Enjoy.

When I think of Harry’s I always think of a large veggie to-go. As we’ve only ever ordered take-out. Of the handful of times we did take out, Harry’s messed up our order once and gave it away by accident. Instead, they offered my girlfriend a free beer for the trouble while they made us a new one, nice gesture! Creature of habit, I haven’t had a chance to try anything else besides their veggie pizza. A red pie with sundried tomato, baby spinach, onion, broccoli and fresh garlic — it’s a solid veggie pie. Harry’s also offers paninis and salads. Other than that, I do like Harry’s more than the other pizza places in West Hartford, it’s just better. And, generally cheaper too! They also offer gluten-free crust and gluten-free toppings for those with a dietary restriction. My only gripe would be is that they do close a bit earlier. FYI Monday: Closed Tues-Thurs and Sunday: 1130am-9pm, Fri+Sat:1130am-10pm

Finally got to try HBC! I was itching to try this place based on the reviews. Tiny little place hidden right next to the Big Y, Harry’s can be easily driven past if you arent looking for it. For my first time here, I decided to try the garlic bread and one of the seasonal pizza’s, the Polpetina. The garlic bread was okay. The bread was a little bit on the chewier side and the garlic was not strong enough in my opinion. The pizza however was great! Thin with a traditional crust, homemade meatballs and fresh roasted peppers on top of mozzarella. I can definitely see why some people think this pizza is too thin/soggy but the flavors and combination made the pizza delicious. Service was great for us, water was constantly refilled and the waiter checked in on a regular basis. Overall, I am a fan. Is it the best pizza i’ve ever had? Nope. Is it a solid choice that I would be happy to return to? Definitely.

It’s not the best pizza in CT(I lived in new haven this summer and I just can’t go that far) but Harry’s Bishop Corner is really dope ‘za. I went tonight. ½ sausage, peppers and onions and ½ broccoli and olives. It was outrageously good. It made me seriously question why I don’t come here more often. Absolutely a great choice. Good salad too! No desserts, grapefruit & lemon tiny sherbets offered at end of meal, gratis. Nice touch!

Ahh Harry’s. I feel like I’m «chasing the dragon» every time I come here. My first experience with Harry’s was when they were located on Farmington Ave, next door to S. K. Lavery. Since then things have changed: they moved and split, husband vs wife, to the S Main St and North Main St locations. It’s unfortunate too because I only went to the old location twice before they packed up and moved. And what an amazing first two experiences they were. The pizza was indescribably light and airy while being completely flavor dense. It was a pizza slice that I was not used to. After the moves, I have now had pizza from both Harry’s Pizza and Harry’s Bishop Corrner on multiple occasions. Both have very good pizza, but things have definitely changed. Bishops Corner is better in my opinion but only by a small margin. I feel the ingredients are a bit better and the pizzas are thinner.crusted. Aside from once again tasting that elusive airy thin/thick crust of days past, Harry’s Bishops Corner still holds its own. Their current location is a bit small but the waits are not usually long. And was able to do actually order my pizza while I was waiting for seating and then eat at the table within minutes of being seated Awesome. Harry’s BC is the best pizza in West Hartford. The prices are decent considering the size of the pies. Last but not lease, there’s complimentary Italian ice(your choice of grapefruit or lemon) served after you eat your pizza. Almost like a free little mini dessert. Kudos indeed

Hands down — the best pizza in CT. I’ve had dinner here many times and they never disappoint! They make a thin crust pizza with high quality ingredients. The eggplant is thin and crispy, delicious. The pizzas are a good size. Their salad dressing is homemade and very good! Highly, highly recommend! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I’d always thought this Harry’s was owned and operated by the same people as Harry’s in West Hartford Center so I never got around to trying it since the Center is so much closer to me. Nope, this pizza is a complete step up from Harry’s in the Center. I tried it at a party I was late to, so it wasn’t very warm, and there wasn’t much left, but man, was it good! Harry’s Bishops Corner makes pizza just how it should be made: cheesy, tomatoey, and juicy. Next time I’m in the mood for pizza I’m going to Bishops Corner.

Just as Harry’s on S. Main St. the pizza is very delicious, crisp, crunch when you bite, which is the way I like it, however, the price I think it is little bit steep.

Best pie around. Classic thin crust. Seasonal offerings are amazing. They have a great selection of cheap wine by the bottle. Ask for well done. Neighborhood staple. Excellent staff. Reasonable prices.

Awesome place, I’m sitting here at one of the booths right now, great pizza, good service pizza made me full, clean restaurant, friendly staff and the complimentary Italian ice just made the whole experience so much better

As someone who has high expectations for pizza in CT, Harry’s exceeded them all. From attentive service, to a good beer selection, wonderful salad, the thin-crust pizza was just fantastic. No heavy grease, fresh, innovative ingredients(feta cheese crumbles), topped off with a pink grapefruit sorbet palate cleanser — Harry’s gets top marks! Possible points off for the lack of available tables, but with pizza this good — who’s complaining?!

On a drive up to Mass. my friend insisted we stop here. She swore we would be impressed by the pizza. I wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong it was ok. But I wouldn’t drive out of my way for it. We went with the shrimp and capers. The capers were extremely over powering and I hat to pick 80% out to eat the pizza. Our other choice was the meatball one. That was ok but I had to add stuff, like salt, cheese, pepper. I never have to add salt to pizza anywhere. I was perplexed by their underwhelming sauce. Our server was young, and kept forgetting us. This meant I wasn’t blown away by the service either. Overall it was ok. Just ok.

One day I was randomly browsing pizza places around the Hartford area on Unilocal. As I was reading the online menu for Harry’s, I found the perfect pizza. The ROASTEDPOTATO&CHEDDAR– white pie on traditional crust w. sharp cheddar, baby red bliss potato, caramelized onion, bacon and finished with sour cream and scallion after baked. How HEAVENLYISTHAT? Unfortunately, this is their seasonal pizza offered around the fall/winter time. The pizza wasn’t overwhelmingly salty and the sour cream added a uniqueness to the pizza. I felt like I was eating a LOADEDBAKEDPOTATO! I ordered take-out since I needed this pizza asap for an event. I got a large, pick up time was about 20 min. I got there and there was already a small line forming for take-out. Pick-up counter is all the way in the back so keep walking towards the back when you come in. They were packed so the service was a bit slow but I eventually received my pizza after 10 minutes with 2 other customers in front of me.

GREAT gluten free pizza! It is pricey– they charge $ 4.75 upgrade yikes! They also serve Estrella Daura, one of my favorite gf beers! It’s not a giant restaurant so be prepared to wait if you come at a busy time, and they do a big take out business! Absolutely one of the best pizza places around!

With so much great pizza in this area it can’t be easy for Harrys Bishops Corner to stay in top, but they do. High quality fresh ingredients, friendly employees and a great experience everytime. The seasonal pizzas are always great and worth trying but you can’t really go wrong with anything they cook. The seating is limited so you may have to wait. It’s worth it or if you can’t wait take out is always a great option too.

Wow! This pizza is amazing. Thin crust, excellent sauce, chewy and delicious. I love their cheese pizza the best — so classic. I ordered sausage one time and wasn’t a fan so I stick with classic cheese. Best garlic bread in the area!!! So buttery, warm and overall delicious. I would probably order the garlic bread over the pizza if I had to choose but luckily I always order both. Their salad dressing is thick, balsamic type and I like it a lot but the flavor isn’t as strong to me. I love this pizza, I keep coming back because the quality is top notch!
