It was our first time to Cantina and the bouncer was very polite and humorous. Our server Jelena was extra delightful and helpful. I am definitely making Cantina in Hollywood a personal favorite spot. Tanya Michelle and Robert agrees.

My friends and I dined here on Saturday afternoon while we were waiting for our room at the Andaz to be ready. If you just so happen to be staying there you can just walk it’s only two blocks down! I really enjoyed my tacos and the chips and gauc. I was so surprised at how inexpensive this place was they also have a bottomless mimosas special that runs on the weekends for only $ 10. Granted they weren’t the best mimosas I’ve ever tasted but hey you can’t beat the price if you are in West Hollywood I would definitely recommend stopping by for a cheap lunch!

Cabo Cantina was surprisingly really good! My girlfriends and j actually ended up eating here by default because we were too early to check into our hotel room down the street at the ANDAZ! We walked not even a block and saw plenty of signs talking about Happy Hour and just stopped! Luckily we happened to be able to stop by during the times that they were offering the bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s! Count me in right?! Yes! Oh and for only $ 9.99?! Yes! So we were seated immediately because they weren’t busy at all! Our server was excellent and very attentive I mean she went as far as letting us know that there was only an hour left of happy hour and that she would make sure we could knock back as many mimosas as we could handle! She delivered on that and then some! Food wise I would say it is mediocre nothing special my friend got the shrimp tacos and they were less than desirable, I ordered the cantina burrito and it reminded me of the grilled stuffed burrito from Taco Bell! Haha except with double the price but all in all it was good! That desert they offer is A1 and I would come back if the opportunity presented itself again!

As many times as I’ve driven by this place, I always told myself,” Oh I need to go try it next time I come.” Of course, I always forget. This time, I actually came, due to my parents wanting to eat there. Parking was difficult to find so I circled around for a bit and like an idiot, didn’t see the parking that was less than a block away on the same side, advertising«Free Parking» in a white fenced area with a few advertisements hanging on the fence that say«Cabo Cantina.» I was too busy looking for street parking. I almost gave up and settled for McDonald’s. Glad I didn’t. Parking in the lot is free for a certain amount of time(2 hours) and then afterward you have to pay $ 15. Good deal. You’re out of there before you have to pay the $ 15. The guys working at that lot were very sweet. So, for all of you who are wanting to check this place out, there’s FREEPARKING!!! GREER, our waitress was absolutely amazing! She checked on our table and was fun to converse with. I seriously wanted to say,” screw work. Hang out with us.” She was that much fun! It was an absolute riot to see her expression when she found out my parents were pastors drinking a few margaritas. It made her night and she made ours. I also observed that she honored a customer’s request to have her phone charged. I thought that was pretty cool of her to do. Food: We all shared the Beef Nachos and my friend and I got the Cabo Burrito. Those burritos were bomb and seriously the best salsa ever. Not a lot of restaurants can get that salsa right. Margaritas: sadly, the margarita(raspberry banana) I got appeared better in writing than the taste on my buds. Nothing against the bartender who made the margarita. I just wasn’t digging the flavor. I’m always up for going back on my next little endeavor and trying something new. After we left, my dad left his cell phone on the table. I left after my parents left the restaurant and I didn’t even notice the phone sitting there, and no we weren’t too drunk: p GREER was amazing! My friend and I had already left and were already practically at the car lot and Greer called out for us and ran the phone to us! I loved that she was honest and has ethics. GREER is the waitress to have!!! All caps on her name so you don’t forget it. Small story, there was a time when my mother’s purse was stolen from a booth at a restaurant. We were sitting in the back. No customers came after us or went in the back. Before my mom walked out of the door of the restaurant, she realized she forgot her purse and went back for it. Again, no customers back there. The only other customers that were eating near us had left before we did. The table was cleared and cleaned in just that one minute after we had left. All of the employees denied ever seeing a purse there. Glad that’s not the case here at Cabo Cantina! Can’t wait to come back! Note: The place is rather small and not quite sure how packed the place is on a weekend, so can’t say anything about the wait time.

I have been this location alot, it’s great for taco Tuesday if your looking for one a place. When you come here at night it’s sooo much fun the drinks are cheap and the bartenders are great. The only problem is the bathroom situation here then line gets long, I usually go to the bars next door for the bathroom lol.

Had a great time at cabo cantina last friday. It was a nice day so the retracted the roof. Cabo cantina has a baja mexico bar vibe. We were the first ones to arrive at noon. It Was completely empty, and our server was solo but she was on it. We went with the bottomless mimosas/bloodys. I can drink so they were going down like water and our server Taylor was quick to bring the refills. We ordered the nachos and asked for half carne asada half chicken, again taylor hooked it up. Nachos were huge! Enough for 3 ppl easily. Walked out full and with a nice buzz. Cant wait to go back once the weather gets hotter.

I’ve had really poor service every other time I’ve been here but overlooked it for the giant margaritas. Tonight though, I had the pleasure of having Greer as a server and she was so fun, cute and attentive. She totally took this from a 2 star to a 4.

This is a place you come for a cheap happy hour and shitty service.(Except) if you get a server named Greer, she is very attentive and hospitable. All the other servers are in their phones and inattentive and don’t give a shit about your«dining experience». I mean it’s called a cantina for a reason. But seriously, GREER is what’s up at CABO!!!

The happy hour portions are ridiculously huge. The chips and salsa are yummy. The Spanish rice tastes nothing like Spanish rice though. The set up looks like it was actually created and owned by white people. It has the tourist type of design, versus an authentic vibe

Worst service ever. Worst margarita ever. Worst food ever. I ordered the chip dip trio thing. I’m pretty sure I just consumed canned dog poop. This place is within walking distance of my apartment and I have low self esteem so I’ll probably be back.

Came in here for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Huge assortment of different margaritas but we had the original, tasty! Fish taco was pretty good and came with a yummy yet very spicy hot sauce. I recommend a visit if you want to watch a game with friends or you’re looking for a happy hour place!

I only gave this 1 star instead of zero because Unilocal required at least I. Came in for a margarita and the girl behind the bar ignored us for 15 minutes(we were the only people waiting for a drink) then she was unexplainably rude and hostile when we asked for 2 drinks. I was really blown away. It was beyond poor service. This person was angry and mean. We left and walked to a bar at Katana, down the road, where we had really great service and drinks. Best avoid this place.

Cabo Cantina on Sunset is a bit small and it seems to fill out pretty quickly. Parking is hard to find so I would either recommend taking an Über or Lyft or circle around to find street parking. Came here on a Sunday with a group of friends around 12. We sat in the back of the room where it was dimly lit. Even though there were fans it was still a bit hot. Service was good for there being only one server. We were a group of maybe 10 people and the server was still attentive. Food was okay. They were generous portions too so if you’re a bit hungry, come here and order. Their steak nachos were delicious as well as their black bean dip with chips. Cabo Cantina is just an okay place. Tip: They have bottomless mimosas every weekend from 12 — 3pm. Drinks are cheap and strong as well.

I was up here last night on a spontaneous adventure. This was the first spot I wanted to check out even though their ratings wasnt that great. As soon as you walk in you notice how small it feels, but the awesome loud music and setting made it very intriguing to continue walking in. We were greeted by an awesome server name Natalie who was very fun and informative of the surroundings. I ended up ordering their chicken taquitos which were delicious! Prices are pretty fair for the location and portion. The cool part about this bar that sets it apart, is the 2 for 1 specials that happen from 6−8pm then back again at 10-midnight. We definitely took advantage of the specials and got our pre game on! :) The entire staff was very friendly and nice to us. I definitely like it when a place can make you feel comfortable, and because of that and the good times, I will be coming back again! As a matter of fact, I will be making it my first go to stop to do any LA adventure! Thanks Cabo Cantina for an awesome night!

Stopped in again. Same old. Sexy waitress with a sexy accent. The place was almost empty. But there was plenty of texting and flirting with some guy– instead of great service. sigh That’s OK, I’ll wander around until I find my own salt! Why yes, another beer would be great(5 minutes ago)! And if there really is bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys on Sunday for $ 9 it is news to me. No one mentioned any sort of special or anything. Nothing was posted on any flyer/poster/chalkboard. There is free parking(in Hollywood?! RIght?!) ½ a block up.

Came here for dinner on a recent trip to LA. I loved the atmosphere of this place, loud music, colored lights, fun staff, customers seemed like they were having a great time. Very lively yet relaxing spot, and we were able to sit by the windows which was nice. We started with the chips with guac, salsa, and queso dip. All were excellent and hit the spot while we were downing our two for one margaritas! The margs were delicious, but I think they forgot to put alcohol in them. I had two and barely felt a buzz. I ordered the surf and turf tacos and honestly thought they were decent at best. I enjoyed the first one I had, but when it came time for the second one, I couldn’t eat it. Not because I was full, just felt like one was enough, the flavor was a bit overpowering and I think it came on a corn tortilla which I hate. Overall, this place was fun and pretty decent food. I would definitely come here again, but would try something different I think. Good times!

I was in West Hollywood on a Friday night visiting a friend and wanted to get some drinks within walking distance, so we stumbled in here. I was hesitant since it screams douchefest from a mile away, but learned they have late night happy hour, so figured why not. Pro — 2 for 1 drinks. The challenge — actually being able to order them. You’d probably expect this place to be overflowing with people on a Friday night on Sunset Blvd, but apparently that’s why they have happy hour — no one wants to go there. Despite it being half-empty when we sat down, we waited to be greeted by a server, a bus boy, anyone. We waited, waited some more, and waited like it was trendy. Finally got someone’s attention after about 20 minutes, ordered our 4 drinks for the price of 2, and bailed before even finishing our second. They bring you both at once, so if you order beer, your second won’t be very cold unless you down the first one immediately. So keep that in mind.(Your mixed drinks will melt too) Poppy music, poor service, lame crowd, no energy… not chill enough to unwind, but not happening enough to get pumped up about Friday night. Fine to run in, pound a couple drinks, and head to the next stop, but you’d be a disappointment to yourself if you went out of your way to come here.

2 for 1 Happy Hour, EVERY day, from 4PM — 8PM. Ok, why not? Chicken nachos were decent. Drinks were solid and the staff was exemplary. Solid place to watch some sports and enjoy the breeze with a cold one.
