Yaaaay!!! I found Modern Rugs L.A. My experience here was amazing Sasha, Jay and Paulino and of course we can’t forget Toby the mascot (beautiful Siberian Husky) are the best, this is truly a place of joy and peace. The rugs are the best all kinds of styles and sizes the prices are great as well as the quality. The prices are unbeatable.

Sasha and his team are phenomenal! They genuinely want you to walk away with the perfect piece for your house and they won’t rush you into a decision that you’re not comfortable with. The team is very knowledgeable and they’re just such nice people! You’ll be welcomed in by the beautiful fluffy white husky (?) mix, she’s as soft as the rugs and so sweet!

My husband and I needed a shag rug but had trouble finding just the right one… until we showed up to this place. From the minute we arrived Jay took us under her wings and helped us every step of the way. She was incredibly professional but at the same time, she was really sweet and helpful. No games played, just honest employees who truly want to make their customers happy. Even when I needed to change my order, she was gracious in accepting the changes, credited my account the difference, and all the while had the best attitude. Given their honesty and helpfulness, we will definitely be back for future rugs. Come to this place… you won’t be disappointed.

I moved a few months ago and had been dying for a perfect rug. I saw that Modern Rugs are rated 5 stars on Unilocal,I loved their web-​site and finally decided to make the trip after my workout. As soon as I walked in I felt an amazing energy and everyone was extremely nice!
I found the rug of my dreams and the quality looked so much better than the previous rugs I saw in another stores. Sasha was so kind and worked with my budget. One of the employees carried the rug to my car. I recommend anyone looking for a rug to make the trip and go to Modern Rugs, it’s definitely worth it.

There are few times in life when you know everything is working out. Modern Rugs LA provided me with one of those rare life moments. The quality of carpets was head and shoulders above Jamal’s place down the street. Service, comfort, quality, etc. 5 stars in my book as it should be in yours. Also, don’t even get me started on their dog. Truly one of the nicest pooches on this earth. Highly recommended

Just had another wonderful visit with my favorite boys I mean the distinguished gentleman at Modern Rug LA. And as always they never disappoint me. I brought in one rug that should have been tossed in a dumpster I did not think it could be repaired. But I should’ve known better Sasha and his team said no problem we can take care of this. And of course while I was there I had to browse and I found the most amazing rug for my new home and I cannot wait for it to arrive! Thank you to all the Modern Rugs LA Staff for always providing consistent incredible results and customer experience.

After our decorator told us that we wouldn’t be able to find a 10×14 rug for under $ 8000, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We found Modern Rugs LA on Unilocal and all we can say is… Wow! Jay is wonderful to deal with, in fact everyone there is wonderful to deal with. Within 20 minutes we had found the perfect 10×14 bamboo silk rug for a great price. We will continue to use Modern Rugs LA and will recommend them to our friends. Great experience!

When shopping for rugs you MUST add this to your list of places to visit. The owner Sasha was very personable, helpful, and friendly to us and our 2 toddlers. We live in OC and we had to visit since we were frustrated with other selections and prices from other stores. Plus we saw all the great reviews which after visiting we now know why. He didn’t judge us based on our budget and treated us as we were VIP. With his great selections we were able to narrow down our search to a top 5. We chose one and he still gave us the option to return it if we didn’t like the color with our lighting at home. Hands down great experience and we’ve already been recommending him to our friends!

What a great place and great rug! The owner is amazing guy and will do whatever it takes to make u happy. They fixed a rug I got a year ago for free! I have 3 rugs from them!

Awesome place with lots of options and if they don’t have it they can of course order it. I prefer my gratification in the instantaneous format so this place was my spot.
Tons of options (possibly too many for some) to try/​touch/​see. They are very nice people and not pushy at all. They also have a poofy Samoyed mascot that is a big ball of white fluffy love. Probably go back just to see him: p
I don’t know if this is common so don’t go in demanding it but I was torn between two options and they basically said I could take the rug home and try it out and if I didn’t like it after a week I could come in and exchange at no cost.
I know others have mentioned this but gotta say the parking lot is really convenient.
Totally worth the trip if you are in the market for a rug :)

After reading reviews decided to check Modern Rugs out but was a teensie bit afraid prices would be too expensive. Ended up buying a 5 by 7 rug with a nice design for a reasonable price, and they even threw in a complimentary $ 80 pad with a Unilocal check in. Was served mainly by Paulino but the other younger guy helping us out was nice as well.
Said they’ve been open for 7 years and I’m not surprised. Their selection is nice and they’ve got great rugs in various (decent) price ranges. I plan on returning to buy a faux fur rug for another room in my apartment. This lady is satisfied. They truly deserve all the great ratings and praises you see in the other reviews.

Park:
There is a lot next to the store. we missed it and parked at a $ 5/​15min parking structure.
Service&product:
Awesome owner and employees… great value and selections. Their rugs are high quality and the guy that helped us gave some helpful recommendations. We ended up getting something that I really liked.
They also have the cutest dog Toby! I’m giving them 5 stars for that… lol just kidding.
If you need a new rug, go ask for Toby. ;) jk…
