Everything in the hotel as fine– we were just looking for a place to sleep as we were driving through, but one thing struck me as odd: they didn’t have elevators or automatic doors. I don’t mind walking up a flight of stairs, personally, but I’m a little bit shocked how out of compliance with basic ADA standards this hotel is. It didn’t impact me at all, but I can see a scenario where this could be extremely problematic.

Stay out of this hotel! My husband and I recently drove from Arizona to North Carolina, we stayed at four different hotels and this one was the most expensive and the only one to be absolutely disgusting. The halls all smell like cigs. Our bedding was disgustingly stained, all over and when we peeled back the sheets, one particularly noticeable cherry colored stain had a matching one, that lined up with it on the mattress cover– which means that our sheets had not been changed! Gross!
When we called down to the front desk to get new sheets the woman told us that she «couldn’t do it» because she was training someone. So we went down to her and she gave us another pair of stained sheets and a comforter that she thought «might be clean» — minus some cigarette holes.
I would advise travelers to stay far away from this place!

My husband stayed here last night on the way home from Indianapolis. We picked this hotel over others based on ratings. My husband received a call early this morning from the front desk that his truck had been broken in to. There was broken glass everywhere and everything inside the truck was stolen. Nobody from the hotel even came out to see if there was anything they could do to help. They could have offered a vacuum or something to him so that he could at least drive it but nobody was anywhere to be found. This hotel has no security cameras either so beware if you stay there. According to the police, this happens all the time in this area.

Staff was friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Lobby smelled bad of cigarettes and the hall too. It was clean enough. Not my first choice but Ok for a last minute stop for a single night.

Ok hotel. Pretty old. Rooms are a bit humid. I couldn’t sleep because the AC unit is so loud. It’s either ON or OFF. The different fan settings did not quite the unit at all. The bed was huge and comfortable enough. No problems with linens. There were some hairs in the bathroom tub and long hairs on the floor. The front desk experience was good. Computer is kinda slow from 8 – 9 as explained by the check in clerk. Took a few minutes to get checked in and another few minutes for the items to print.

This hotel is great for the price. Rooms clean, large and bed comfy. Front desk helpful and pleasant. Nice flat screen TV mounted on wall makes for more room
