Hostess Brendali, cannot call wait times remotely close. We showed up to put our names on the list and she said the wait time was five minutes, WRONG! We waited ten minutes and four groups before us were not even seated yet. Enough said, we left…

It’s IHOP. Expect what it is, and it won’t disappoint. There’s no better place to get pancakes. Just make sure to tell them you want your bacon crispy or else it will come out floppy.

This is one of the best iHops, I feel bad to see all the negative reviews, despite of very courteous and knowledgeable staff, Manager lady is pretty amazing she explained how we can customize everything the way we like, she also gave us discount as we are large group, I think lot of other reviewers are like Donald Trump, who don’t like other races or having racial problems or problems in particular with Latin community, its very sad when people review restaurant based on race of staff, well to my experience all the staff are very good, always smiling and knowledgeable, keep up the good work guys, please don’t get discouraged with prejudicial reviewers.

IHop is a pancake house, right, and no one can dispute that they remain on the cutting edge of the breakfast food genre, always adding creative new pancake selections, serving lots of breakfast meat and offering portions larger than it is humanly possible to eat in one sitting. I enjoyed watching orders being delivered to other diners. The table was set with the standard 4 pancake– syrup flavors and the bottomless pot of coffee which were like old friends. Our grandson, a pancake aficionado, ordered the 3-stack and found them to absorb the syrup faster than he could pour it on but he was up to the challenge. There was so much to choose from including a children’s menu and one for people 55+ a feature I had never seen before. I had a veggie omelet with fresh fruit that was very tasty. Our server was good. The pancakes were ordered without butter and that’s not how they initially came. She brought new ones back in record time. Although it had been a while since I had been at an IHop, I look forward to coming back.

We were here on the 28th because my sister wanted IHOP, so I hope is what she received! One thing I’ve noticed is that every time we passed by the IHOP in the mall, there was rarely anyone in the front ready to seat people. I’m not sure why I expected someone to be there once we arrived. It was a Monday, early in the day, and there was barely anyone. But if our waitress had other priorities, then I apologize for not understanding. We stayed and waited anyway because my sister always gets what she wants. When we were seated(which was about a 10 minute wait for a restaurant that wasn’t busy at all), we kind of changed our minds about our environment. Our waitress was so friggin sweet. She had the most angelic voice, I wish I gave her a bigger tip! My sisters ordered breakfast and I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich that rocked my entire world for the day. I’m not really a huge fan of IHOP but I may start coming here just for that sandwich. And they have a few other goodies on the list. Instead of fries, I ordered salad as a sub and it was one that I haven’t tried. I don’t even know the name of it but it was yummy in my tummy. It’s always the bitter stuff that’s the most healthy. My fruit punch did not taste like fruit punch but I really liked the lemonade and I’m happy that our waitress was patient. Usually, if you asked to return a drink, the waiter/waitress gets annoyed. Either way, we’ve enjoyed ourselves. The food was really good(and worth the wait)!

My friend and I stopped here to grab a snack and were craving breakfast food. We decided to split 3 pancakes and a side of bacon. We waited about 30 minutes for our order! The place wasn’t even busy. Maybe 6 other tables, with two waitresses working. My friend and I were ready to walk about but wanted to use our coupon from pancake day before it expired. Not worth the time wasted, next time going to the other breakfast places in Rockland.

Food was alright. Nothing special. However the waitress messed up a pretty easy order of choco chip pancakes and corned beef hash. Than fought with me insisting I told her something else. The waitress«Yorleny» is extremely rude and can’t comprehend a simple order.

I need to vent here about what happened at the IHOP in the palisades mall. My friend and I were there around 11 for brunch with our two year olds. We decided to just get pancake combos because it was enough if the kids wanted to eat some. I mean it’s really so much food. So we each got our own pancake combo. The meals took probably 30 minutes to come and when they did arrive we asked for extra small plates. Like, 5 – 10 minutes later the waitress came back with a message from the manager. She told us that IHOP has a no share policy. She was not allowed to give us plates so our kids could have some of the food we ordered and was absolutely going to pay for. We told her that we come here often and have never been told that before, that they are two years old, and if she was not going to give us the plates, we were going to leave, and NoT pay for our meals. She gave us the plates, and then said she was going to have to tell her manager because its policy not to share food. We got stared at by the manager the entire rest of our meal. So, just so everyone is aware, which is the most bizarre thing I have ever been told, the IHOP has a no share policy. And you cannot share your food with your 2 year old. We asked for a menu to see if that was stated anywhere; it’s NOT! Kid friendly my ass.

It’s an IHOP it’s neither good nor bad. It is the quintessential middle of the road restaurant. Server was attentive, he let us know that refills were not free thank you! The food was bleh. not the best IHOP I have been to. The place was empty on a Friday night and now we know why.

I took my boyfriend who had never been to Ihop before, when I asked him how he liked it he said«it was pancakes». It’s getting five stars because he said pancakes are always 5 stars as long as they aren’t burnt.

Walked in and couldn’t tell if the place was open or closed. There was nobody outside so we finally kept walking further in and there we finally found a waitress. The place looked deserted I would assume because the service left something to be desired. Other than that it’s pretty much like any other IHop(the fruit cup had dead looking fruits).

Only selected 1 star because there was no option for zero stars. Make sure you have 2 hours to waste and enjoy eating cold food. Staff was not friendly and always had a mad look on their face. Place was half full and there was no manager to be found. IHOP Should close this store as its ruining their reputation!

IHOP should do this location a favor, close it and put it out of its misery. I should have known what I was getting into when I saw there was not one customer in the whole restaurant on a Friday night while every other Restaurant on the floor had a line waiting. To start, silverware was filthy, service was carried out by staff that moved with all the speed of a crippled turtle. Both orders came out 40 minutes later(40 minutes for pancakes and eggs in an empty restaurant) and were wrong(remember, me and my wife were the only ones there) my wife’s pancakes came out burnt, mine under cooked, Yes, this IHOP, if you can believe it, doesn’t know how to make and my wife got sick afterwards, should have listened to the reviews here, Filthy restaurant, abysmal service, terrible food, well at least the waitress(those rare occasions when she was seen) was pleasant

Probably the worst IHOP I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot. The only good thing about this restaurant is that the staff was friendly and the IHOP was pretty nice and open. However, the food was terrible. The food was super greasy and drowned in oil which was not enjoyable at all. I ordered a Mocha coffee and it tasted just like water with a hint of coffee, which i did not take more than a couple of sips. My friend ordered the ice coffee and it was also pretty bad. The only good thing i had were the pancakes but that didn’t make up for the other food. The waiter I had was very nice but we weren’t even done with our food and he was rushing with our check. I felt that to be kind of rude since we weren’t there for long or even close to done with our food. Would not recommend. i felt rushed and food was not good. Look for a better IHOP.

it was my first and probably last time ever at an ihop. I’ve never been a fan because I don’t like pancakes but unfortunately ihop was the only restaurant open at the mall at 10:30am other than Burger King and McDonalds. We had to wait to be seated because they only had one table runner while there were plenty of open tables. Hostess felt embarrassed and ended up seating us herself. Waiter came over right away to get our drink orders and came back to get our food order. Table next to us sat down 2 minutes before us and they finished their meal before we even got our food. I don’t really understand why it would take over 20 minutes to make eggs while its not even busy. I cant even imagine what the wait for food is like when it is busy. I ordered a garden omelette, none of the vegetables were actually in the omelette, instead, it was sitting on top of a plain omelette. I thought the concept of an omelette is that the ingredients are cooked with the egg. The hashbrowns had absolutely no flavor, had to put salt and pepper on it. The toast was cold and hard. Overall: poor customer service food had no flavor and not appetizing would not come back.

We went for dinner the other night and Noah, the waiter, did a great job. The family seemed happy with their food. We had a Groupon Type deal so the value of the meal was great. The kid liked to build his own pancakes and the wife liked her French Toast. I got a chicken peacan salad and I was a little disappointed, but in retrospect, I should never have tried a salad at IHOP. The salads at Wendy’s and Panera are better. It was quite a deal for an evening out. If I got another deal like that, I’d definately come back.

And yet again this iHop has amazed me. Service could not be any worse. It took five minutes to be acknowledged waiting at the door when the place was mostly empty. After being seated, we went ignored for ten minutes and then after getting our food it was at least a half hour before someone we called at came over to clean our plates and bring us the check. Food is great — it’s iHop after all. But the service is so bad that I’m not surprised everyone I talk to avoids this place. Do yourself a favor and go to Spring Valley for a better experience. And someone needs to fire the managers and everyone else here and get people who care and can do their job before they close this place. What a disgrace to the iHop name.

I don’t go to IHOP often at all. Probably one of the last places I would go especially for breakfast.(I don’t like eating out for breakfast very much because I could make the dishes they offer at home at a cheaper price) Anyway, it’s an IHOP and I had a hard time choosing what to eat, but I ended up with Challah french toast with over easy eggs. Our waiter was very nice and down to earth. Well our dishes came and they gave me scrambled instead of over easy eggs. So it took awhile for them to correct that(aka give me new eggs) So I’m not sure who screwed up in the back but it felt like a long wait for eggs. I’m not gonna comment on the food cause it’s just as bad as any other IHOP or breakfast chain restaurant.(Bland). Aside: Don’t take me out for breakfast(unless it’s at someone else’s house haha!)

i haven’t had ihop in a while so I was pretty excited to get some good breakfast food. The food itself wasn’t that bad! The unlimited pancakes combos are pretty cheap too! My friends’ dishes were a bit pricey though… However… i really can’t give it that hot of a rating because of the service… SOBAD. I came to this same ihop a year or two ago and had a similar experience. The waitress was nice and all this time, but she was just not on top of things. I’ve had to ask multiple waiters multiple times for things such as more pancakes, ketchup, napkins, etc. They were very diligent about coming to fill our waters but everything else took forever! At the end, I asked to get a plastic fork for my pancakes that I were taking to go, and the waitress completely forgot about it and never brought it. (last time, our waitress was extremely sassy and rude. she was joking around with us, but it was to the point where it would just be annoying and awkward.) If this place wants to do better… they need better service!
