My experience with JC Penny Hair salon was great because of Victoria! I was a new customer of Vicky. Prior to meeting with Vicky she sent me a link to her website and I was able to view her portfolio. So, I had an idea of her work before I went to the salon but I was still nervous because it had been years since I tried a new stylist. Anyway, I arrived at the salon for my appointment and meet Vicky for the first time. She was so nice and told me not to worry that she was going to take care of me. I was getting extensions and a relaxer and was concerned that they would not look natural. I thought it was great that Vicky was finishing up on another customer because I got to see how she engaged with the customer and the quality of her work. She was running behind, which I was okay with, I normally plan for my stylist to run behind on a Saturday since its the busiest day in the salon. Vicky started working on my hair, removing extensions, relaxing my hair, braiding, putting new extensions in and styling. Normally the process can take 4 hours but we were done in 2 hours and 45 minutes(I do have a small head). The time went by so fast because we were just talking and laughing the whole time. Other stylist came over and joined the conversation, which made this an even more pleasant experience. JC Penny salon uses the best products such as the Mizani line and Vicky really took care of my hair. She was careful with the flat iron and sewing the extensions in. When I saw my hair when she was done I actually cried. Now, I was looking a little crazy prior to meeting her and was having difficulty finding a stylist who understood what I wanted, so I was overwhelmed. But I was relieved that I could identify with myself in the mirror and felt beautiful again. Vicky produced a high end look by making my extensions look natural and professional. She has a client for LIFE!

do not i repeat do not go to the hair salon in this jc penny of west nyack. the stylist have no respect for your time at all. i went there had an appointment at 3:30 left at 8:17. it was rude how the stylist didn’t even apologize to me. another customer ran late 2 hours late!!! and the hair stylist let her go ahead of me when i was on time 3:30 and she came in at 4 i was so pist!!! the manger of jcp need to check theses stylist cause there very rude and have no customer service don’t waste your time find a different salon !!! don’t come to this salon it sucks !!!
