Love coming to this place for the comedians. The food is not worth the Patrice. Food is super average and lack luster. My suggestion; eat in the mall at another restaurant and only spend money on the 2 drink minimum.

This comedy club is great. The ticket prices are never too high and I’ve seen several big-name comics. The only problem is that the food is terrible. The menu claims they have a «chef,» but yuck. The wings are awful. And how do you screw up a pretzel? Just eat before you come here, and you’ll have a great time. There are plenty of restaurants in the mall.

Had a great time here watching the Game Grumps! Kristen the bartender was awesome! Great to talk to and very knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu. If I lived in the area, we would definitely visit again!

Fantastic venue. Great food, hysterical comedians. I went to see Adam Ferrara a few weeks ago and I’ve never laughed till I cried as much as I did during his show. Can’t wait to come back for other laugh out loud comedians.

This place is like a lounge. The seating is good and you don’t have that cramped feeling like the other comedy clubs. You have to buy two items per person. The menu was good and the drinks not too watered down. Overall a good experience.

I went to Levity Live recently Wednesday for their«Graduation Night» where individuals taking a comedy class would come and perform. It was myself and a few friends.. This would be their first experience, and the second for me. This review will be on the service of Levity Live as a restaurant as acts vary depending on the date. The Good: * My friends really liked the ambiance. Levity is spacious with various seating options — tables, booths — and we got a nice seat. * Decent food. My friends are picky eaters but everyone found meals to their liking. I had the pasta primavera($ 17) and it was just ok. It needed more sauce(which I asked for but never received). A friend ordered the spaghetti with meatballs($ 17) which he seemed to enjoy. Good thing is despite the two item minimum you can get away with just ordering one item. Variety of drinks — libations to satisfy. I think since the prices can be steep and the food is a hit or a miss, order the sandwiches which range from $ 11-$ 15 dollars. Overall the food isn’t memorable! The Bad: * Very poor service: At first our waiter was very attentive. However, my friends and I got a seat«upgrade» so we were placed in the best seat of the house — right across from the stage in a booth. After that we were virtually invisible. Our waiter«lost» us essentially and I had to physically get up to find him because our drinks hadn’t been refilled and some of my friends had more orders to place. We had tried to flag down other waiters but to no avail. The staff are not very personable or kind. No one went out of their way to help us. So now why a 2? This was a WEDNESDAY night. If our experience was sub-par on a slow night, I can’t imagine what it would be like when it is packed. Overall, poor service trumps because no matter how good the food is, doesn’t matter if the customers never get it. Essentially, you go here for the laughs. Honestly, looking at all the reviews this seems to be a reoccurring problem. It seems management doesn’t care enough to fix the issues or the staff aren’t paid enough to care. This place is making A LOT of revenue from the big names that come to perform and if management cared about sacrificing their paychecks for the sake of the venue this could be a much better establishment

If I could only give zero stars, I would. Tonight I came out with a friend to see Wayne Brady(who was great), but what a disaster Levity Live was. We arrived at 6:20 and found that there was a huge line formed outside the venue. This was surprising since the tickets said that doors opened at 6pm. They didn’t start to let people in till about 6:40! If you’re not going to follow your own schedule Levity Live, then don’t put times on the tickets to which customers should abide by. The show starts at 7:30 and people still need to be seated and have to order food and drinks! What a mess! Finally sat down in the back area which was nice, but our waiter took forever! Didn’t even get our drinks until the show started. Plus, it seemed there was a mix up with table numbers because waiters kept coming to our table to drop off food and drinks, yet we and the couple next to us never even ordered anything! It would have been fine if it was once, but it happened a few times, with waiters putting heavy drink trays on the table, making them move and just ruining the mood. Too make things worse, the couple next to us ordered a bottle of wine and thank goodness they got their drinks before the lights went out because one wine glass was extremely dirty, which the waiter, didn’t even notice till after he poured the wine. Made me hesitant to drink my drink in the dark. The food was okay. I got the pulled pork nachos which were fine, except all the pork was on the bottom, with a vast amount of cheese and chips on top that you just get chunks of pork without chip later. My biggest issue came when I realized I didn’t have utensils to eat the pork with. When the waiter dropped it off he left it closer to the people next to us. I watched the guy next to me put his dirty napkin on on the utensils. When I finally got the waiters attention(which during the whole show, only saw he about 4times, to order, to drop off food, to ask for utensils, and to pay) to bring me a fork he removed the guys dirty napkin and handed it to me! Disgusting! Didn’t even stay long enough to tell him no, I wanted new ones. Ended up just eating the pork with my fingers. Levity live was a complete mess tonight. Long lines, horrible and disgusting service, plus they had issues with their mics that even Wayne Brady looked pissed off. I loved the show, but seriously Levity Live needs to have more staff and a better system. If they want to have a 2 item minimum and charge people for overpriced($ 5 for a soda) food and drinks, then have to have better service!

Waiting forever to get into Wayne Brady show. Doors were to open at 7:45 for the 9:30 show. 9:44, there are hundreds outside the place and no movement on the line. WTF! Don’t tell us the doors open at 8:45 and don’t have us buy tickets for the 9:30 show that who knows when it will start. Not smart, not good.

Hi Folks!, So my wife gave me tickets to a comedy show to go see a particular stand up comic I have seen on numerous tv shows and was looking forward to seeing him live in person but here is my review of that night… SERVICE: Was good, took drink orders and were quick, not much of a wait. So all good. GRADE: B FOOD: Did not order but they do offer food BUT their policy states accordingly«There is a Two Item minimum per guest in the showroom. Any combination of Food or Beverages satisfies the minimum as does Dinner Entrees. Items purchased in the front bar prior to the entering the showroom DONOT count towards the two item minimum in the showroom.» (This did not apply to us as we had eaten prior to the show). GRADE: N/A DRINK: Read above in «FOOD»… this is where they get ya… $ 6⁄9 bottled beers seem like the price range here. Was not thrilled when i saw the check but that’s most comedy clubs, so whatever. GRADE: C– AMBIANCE: Very nice surroundings, real clubby feel, place has been open only a few years, so all is new and seating, sound, lighting, stage and are all well done. GRADE: A LOCATION: It’s in West Nyack at the Palisades Mall… so you basically have to drive to the mall for the most part, luckily it’s a mall and there is plenty of parking. So no jumping on the train or grabbing a cab to go somewhere is else like in the city. Even though there a few restaurants there for food and drink if you like. Grade: B PRICING: Not sure how much wife paid for tickets as they were a Christmas gift but like i mentioned above the drinks are a bit pricey and should be less, being that it is in West Nyack. GRADE: C– So overall its a great place to watch some stand up if you don’t feel like going all the way to the city. They do have some top notch acts come to the place BUTVERYAWARETHATIFYOUBUYTICKETSTOSEE A PARTICULARCOMIC, THEYMIGHTCANCEL. SOCALLAHEAD! CANTSTRESSTHISENOUGH. The reason I mention this, it’s like I said in my introduction I was looking forward to seeing a particular comic and without any mention did they ever tell the customer, that he was not performing, granted the guy that took his place was very good but i wish management could made more of an effort to make a mention of it. Hey maybe if that’s the case, discount passes for another show or a drink on the house would be a nice courtesy gesture. Will I be back? sure but will be a little more heads up and do my due diligence next time. FINALGRADE: B Cheers! J

Had an awesome time here. Went there Friday. Inside is really nice and spacious. The service was great and fast. The drinks were ok. I had a ultimate margarita and it was a little too sour but maybe I’ll try the drinks again. I had the a quesadilla and fries and those were really good. The comedians are really funny. Especially one called Greg Snow(I think that was his name) he was funny ass hell and had me laughing the whole time. He makes me want to go back again. I will definitely will be returning.

This place has become so disgusting. When I first went there a couple of years ago, the service and food was okay. Now, it is complete trash. The food is terrible and the customer service is even worse. I decided to give it another shot because I thought it would be a fun get together with a group of friends. I had reservations for a party of 16 and had spoke to Mike who is the event coordinator — I told him I had seen a groupon that was cheaper and told me to speak to box office, fine. I spoke to the box office and they told me to go ahead and purchase the tickets from groupon for the party of 16 and to call back when I had the voucher numbers. So, I bought 8 groupons for my party of 16. Called back a few days, later… no response. Left my name and phone number, still no call backs. Called multiple times. Finally, they picked up on Thursday night to tell me they are not accepting any of my voucher numbers. What??? So you tell your customers to purchase things so they cannot be used? I have never in my life came across anything like this and such a rude manager. I spoke to the manager about this issue and her response was«well, you’re being rude.» What??? What kind of manager calls their customers rude after they are at fault. Think twice before planning your party here! These people are just money hungry!

It’s a relatively good room in which to see a show. Like many rooms of its ilk, the seats are far to close together and the menu is loaded with items that lead to obesity, so they provide seats for Twiggy and sell them to Haystack Calhoun. I found the people running the seating to be surly and unfriendly, at best. The team inside the room seemed to have no sense of the actual rules, or what each other were doing. Conflicting information was provided every step of the seating process. Sight lines are good, acoustics are excellent, food is standard pub fare quality. I will be back if a performer we need to see performs there.

Saw mega star Jim Breuer on 12−18−15. 3 minutes before he goes on I get drenched with a tray full of drinks. Now, I’m a nice guy and on top of that, it’s the holidays and I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble. Well, did we get an apology? No. Something on the house? No. Check cut in half? No. A Levity Live shirt so I didn’t have to sit uncomfortably in my soaked shirt? No. All we got was about 20 napkins and cleaned up our own table which included broken glass. I don’t know. I guess you could say I was slightly disappointed with the outcome.

You have to come to one of the shows. The staff and food is good as well. Very clean. People complain all the time about 2 item minimum but trust me with all the drunk & food options you can’t go wrong. Been here over 100 times & never had a complaint yet…

My friend asked if I wanted to go with her and some other friends to see Anjelah Johnson. I’ll be honest I had no idea who she was but was told she’s very funny. It took us about 1 ½ hours to get there. When the gps directed us into the mall, we were both surprised, who would expect a comedy club in the mall. Though the room was packed, the line went quickly. Kudos to the person scanning the tickets at the front. Their is a bar with some seatings in the front and a table where you can purchase the comedians’ shirt and cd. A server takes you to your table. We were a party of 8 so the seatings were pretty good toward the front. I ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad which was pretty good. Their is a minimum of 2 items per person. Two comedians came out before the main show. Both very good. But I forgot their names. Anjelah Johnson was very funny, I was almost disappointed that it didn’t last longer. Definitely suggest this place, very convenient and great atmosphere.

The venue is cool. It’s in a mall but all seating is good. I liked the way it was set up. Service was absolutely horrible. We asked for water 4 times before we got it and we had to hunt the waiter down to take our order. I guess you have to go VIP in order to get the full experience but we still enjoyed ourselves.

I went to Levity Live for the first time at the end of October and I was impressed with the venue. Situated in a HUGE mall I wasn’t really expecting much, but once you walk in to the venue you are transported to a land of comedy and laughs. We were greeted right away after we picked up our tickets by a friendly host who escorted us to our seats. The venue was pretty empty as it was a Wednesday evening with torrential rain, but we still had a good time. All the comedians made us laugh and they still brought a great show even though there were only about 12 people in attendance. The opening comedians were on for only a few minutes so the main act came up rather quickly, which I always appreciate. The seats are pretty comfortable and the tables are big. There is a 2 item minimum per guest, but thankfully our super waiter didn’t stick to it. Bigger tip for you sir! We all ordered drinks and shared two appetizers, the spinach dip and the vegetable spring rolls. The spinach dip was pretty good and big enough to share between the 4 of us. The vegetable spring rolls were very disappointing, kinda mushy, so I think I will skip that appetizer next time I go. I definitely plan on going back now that I know about this venue and how nice it is. I’ll pick different eats the next time around though. I hear the pizza is pretty decent!

I’ve had amazing experiences @ Levity Live! I’ve seen Tom Cotter & Sebastian Maniscalco. They were hysterical and the food was pretty good as well! I usually go and get a drink and a burger or a drink and a dessert(for a later show)! This place brings in quality talent along with a quality food for a decent price! The service is terrific & they are always helpful even during the show! Definitely go to a show! You won’t regret it!

Wonderful venue to go to. Saw Bruce Bruce, Bill Bellamy, Cheryl Underwood and Monique. It has become my favorite place to go with friends or just my husband and I. What I like most is you can have dinner and drinks while you watching the show. It is just wonderful evening of comedy and food. I love it, I love it, I love it, and the fact that is close to home and not all the way downtown doesn’t hurt.

The veggie spring rolls were hard. The fries tasted as if they were fried in old oil. The buffalo wings were under cooked. I don’t know why they still have that video on their site as if the have a world class chef and menu because just like any comedy club they do sell the same bar foods. And the drinks are watered down. My chocolate Martin taste like shaken up chocolate milk that someone blew bubbles in. Also the tables are way to close together. Sitting at a table with folks you don’t know is one thing. Ok you introduce yourself. But I don’t want to sit with the next tables patrons on my back. No room to even get up to use the room. The show to see Mo’nique was the boom! I would go again with a group of 3−4people to be sure to get a booth. I won’t be ordering food! I don’t give a damn what the two item minimum says! The food they do have is nasty. And not worth me spending money on.

Came to see Monique and she was funny the whole way through! The all tickets were only $ 40 for general seating. The good thing is that no matter where you sit, you’re still in good viewing and close to the stage. They seat on a first come first served basis but they seat from who ever is sitting at the bar first. Once the bar gets full they close the doors and start forming a line outside. I had to minus 2 stars because we stood on line for forever!!! I bought tickets for the 9:45 show & stood on line at 9:10 and didn’t actually get seated until 10:30 and there was no communication as to what the delay was. Perhaps that’s the norm as this was my first time coming here. Over all I had a good time minus the endless waiting.

Went to see Chris Delia. Nothing really new from the last time we came here. It was packed and we ended up sharing a table with another couple, which is expected on a sold out night. I wish the waitress would come back to your table more than once to check on you. I feel like we either have to order everything(including multiple rounds of drinks) in one shot or it takes us another hour to get a second round.

It’s a good night out. We’ve been there with groups and have also bought last minute tickets for the two of us for a date night. If you come even 15 minutes before the early show you’ll get right in and get a good seat. Lots of drink choices and the food menu has come along way. Service is really hit or miss though. We’ve gotten very attentive service, but there were two times where we didn’t get service and we were seated for 10 – 15 minutes each time. If you’re going to have a minimum, you need to be around to take those orders. Not my fault if you come late and then don’t come back forever. I’m not going to force myself to eat or drink something as the show is ending. Even something as simple as a soda counts towards the 2 item minimum, so it is easy to do on a budget as well. We’ll continue to go back!

Went to see Sommore being I haven’t seen her in person in a few years. She looked amazing and as always very insightful and hella funny! Not much to say about Levity but it’s inside of a mall and literally right in the food court area or I should say in the restaurant area. It’s right next to the iHOP so hopefully you’re getting the picture lol. If you’re in Jersey, you don’t have to pay any bridge fees to get there so FYI my NJ residents. Literally it’s like 30 – 35 minutes from the Jersey City area. Ok back to Levity, the seating is very intimate so get to know our neighbors. The service was a bit slow compared to my visits to BBKING which has the same setup. The Cosmos were made well but could have been a bit stronger . Again not much to say about Levity but I was excited to see the diversity in their line up. We ordered Cosmos and popcorn now I’m disappointed in the popcorn. It came in a glass sort of what you would get on a cruise if you ordered a Piña Colada lol. Was hard to eat the popcorn. Ok folks I’m out but check out Levity very diverse line ups.

We had lots of fun! The opening act, Vladimir, was hilarious. «Tropicana for ju…» I would definitely see him again. He came out after the show to say hello. Cool, humble guy. Wish him the best of luck. The host was funny too. Almost had a couple married right there on stage, lol. We got a chance to experience Pablo Francisco live. «In a world…»(dark voice.) Very funny guy. Sorry to say he is getting older. Not what he looked like when I first found out about him a couple of years back. Funny none the less. The menu had good choices. Nice variety. I had the vegetable spring rolls, buttered popcorn in a fancy pants cup, and two Lemon Drop Martini’s. My husband had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with fries. I think he ate it… I blinked and it disappeared :) *shrugs* Thank you for the return voucher! We will be back. Maybe for my b’day with a nice group of people.

We had a great time last night for Jo Koy… the service was quick and the Bartender accommodated us with a Bucket of Heineken for a few extra bucks, the signature drink Ultimate Margarita was delish. It’s located at the Palisades mall so plenty of parking, the place is clean and well organized. They always have a great selection of comedians! Love this place and would recommend to all my family and friends! Thank you for a great time Levity Live! If you register on their mailing list they also send free tickets on occasion.

I went to Levity Live for the first time to watch Aries Spears perform. My first impression was that this place was really nice and laid back. The place is pretty big, there’s a lower level with tables and some booths and then there’s an upper level(just a couple of steps up) with more tables. Also, the bathroom situation is great, it’s very close therefore you won’t miss much of the performance if you have to go. Things Levity Live is lacking: 1. The food menu is really limited! Please add more options! 2. The waiters need to be more attentive, it took us forever to get drinks. FYI: 1. If you don’t want to sit in the lower level or there aren’t any more seating areas available of your liking then you have to wait until the whole bottom floor is full and then you will be seated on the top floor.

Ive been here a couple time and i must say its a pretty cool place. The earlier you are to the show the better seat you will get. We like to get there about 30 minutes prior to doors open time. They always have good acts and their waiters(which have so many people per waiter) are generally in good spirits and quick with the orders. We mainly just drank so i dont have much reference on food, except that the french fries are quite tasty.
