Amici Brick Oven Pizza

Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, cool little spot. I ordered the steak calzone and let me tell you it was DELICIOUS!!! Great flavor on the steak, and the crust was just perfect. I would absolutely Order the Calzone again.

This place has a great location and ambiance, but I wish it was more consistent! My husband and I have been there 3 times total; the first 2 times the food was phenomenal! However, the last time we went, the pizza had less than half of the cheese and toppings as the last time. It was a little dissapointing that time. Other than that, we’ll still be back. The Greek salad is definitely a standout.

I was over a friends house and we were all looking for a good pizza place. (Anything better than Pizza Hut etc). My family has been going to amici down in Broward for years, so we thought we would give this location a try.
We ordered online. We ordered their «famous» margarita pizza and garlic rolls.
Both things were ice cold when we came pick them up. Mind you online it said 15 – 30 minutes wait time. So we started heading out at 15. When we arrived at the store we were confused as to where to pick up our order. The only server on the floor was having a conversation with guests. As we finally got told where to go we had to ask the cook if our order was ready. When the server was finished talking to the guests she came over to us and cashed us out and we went home to find out our pizza and garlic rolls were ice cold.
It was flavorful but obviously better when it was piping hot from the kitchen.

Not happy with management policies.

Terrible!!! Ordered a pizza from them and had it delivered. Pizza was made wrong. Called and they told me they would make it the right way and get it right over to me… Pizza arrived almost an HOUR LATER and was delivered COLD!!! Never ordering from this place again!!!

My 2 experiences with this place have been much to be desired. The staff has been consistently rude and the location being next to a cigar bar makes eating outside impossible. Food was ok the first time and pretty bad the second time.

If I could rate the waitstaff alone, I’d give them 5 stars. Our waitress was SUPER sweet and attentive. The pizza itself is what brings the rating down to 2 stars. It was like 50% grease 50% actual pizza. The price was good, the pizza was not. Wouldn’t come back. Oh, and they’re masters of typos. «Desserts» is spelled «deserts» on the menu and «specials» is spelled «speials».

Ordered take-​out from here yesterday. When we got the pizza, it was so soggy in the middle that when you picked up a piece, only the crust remained and the rest of the pizza fell into the box and was a soupy mess. we sent the pizza back, and when we returned the pizza, the bottom of the box was wet. The second pizza was slightly better but took forever to get to us and was still soggy and gross. How is this place still in business?!

I can’t even believe they would send out the pizza they sent us. When you grab a slice it breaks up at the crust. Thanks amici. This is soggiest pizza of all time. The flavor seems ok but its a serious bummer.
I never return food. they sent us another pizza, less soggy, but still not good.

Sad to say I after the deals expired it took me a while to come back. Came in for dinner with a group of 5 and sat outside. Food came out wrong and pizza came overcooked. It’s going to take some convincing to come back.

FABULOUS!!! Ordered pizza, meatball parm sub, steak sub and an anti pasto salad.. Delivery was quick, hot food was hot. Everything tasted awesome!!! We are very picky on pizza etc and we are more then happy!

I wish I could tell you about their pizza, but it never ARRIVED. I ordered at 8:05 PM and was given a 40 minute delivery time. After three phone calls and managerial «talks» with the delivery person, an hour and forty-​five minutes later, I finally cancelled after being given bullshit excuse after bullshit excuse. I was forced to cancel because they refused any sort of discount for their lack of consideration and their assumption that I would return. I would never recommend this place… EVEN on their slowest night.
As a lover of pizza and craft anything, I would never want someone to experience the condescending owner’s attitude, the staff’s indifference to the customer’s concerns, and the pathetic lack of delivery this establishment provides.

Pizza was soooo good!!! We did a take out around 10 since they are one of the few pizza spots in the area (other than the ones in city place) that is open until 11. They were really fast & friendly! Love this pizza too!!!

The lasagna here is one of the best I ever had. Great price and atmosphere to come accompanied or really just sit down at the bar for a quick bite.

Ordered delivery, and it arrived much more quickly than I was told to expect. I had Chicken picata with spaghetti and a salad. Chicken and pasta were nice and hot, but didn’t have very much sauce. Salad was nice and fresh. The garlic knots seemed like they had been microwaved. Overall, food was ok and delivery was quick.

This place is not very big but the outside seating is beautiful! it has bistro light around a big fountain. The pizza was really good, and inside you can see the gentleman making all the pizzas– whom was very friendly. I also had the rigatoni-​It was also good but was dried out so much in the oven there was barely any sauce left. Also, on their menu it says it comes topped with ricotta and there was no trace of ricotta in my dish. That’s my main complaint. Give me my ricotta!!!

They have great deals for lunch, great prices. Their sandwiches are good and loaded, super great prices for pastas. Haven’t been there at dinner, but at lunch this place is a winner.

I was upset that the Starbucks that was in this pizzeria’s location had closed, but I’m thrilled that Amici has taken its place.
The ‘Godfather’ was some of the best pizza I’ve eaten since leaving New York. I could tell that the onions were caramelized and the peppers were sauteed before the pizza was put in the oven, helping meld the flavors,
The crust was a REAL yeast dough crust — it had been years since I had pizza like this. (Too many years of Papa John’s ruins you, I suppose.)
I shaved off one star from this review because the eggplant parmigiana ciabatta sandwich was missing something. Perhaps the eggplant could have been sliced thinner, or cooked longer, but the consistency was just a tad off.
I do plan on visiting this place again and again, however.
Kudos to Shqipa, the young woman who took my order — fantastic service!
NOTE: There used to be a pizzeria located across this shopping plaza, named Pizza Stop, that had closed last year. Pizza Stop’s menu was rumored to have such southeastern European foods as burek and cevapci, in addition to pizza. I asked the owner/​manager of Amici if they also serve these foods, and while the owner is also from the same part of Europe, they do not have these items.

I like it here. We sat at the bar, had a beer and ordered pizza. The bartender was very nice and let us try the beer first before we ordered it. The atmosphere was nice and casual, great for a hangout spot.
We devoured the pizza. We got the godfather and the classic pizza, very good!

My fiancé and I went to the new outlet mall in Palm Beach and then checked Unilocal for the best place to eat around and this seemed to be the one.
We went there for lunch so there was only a few costumers. The place is small but very cute with outside and inside seating and a huge bar. We decided to seat inside because it was a little warm.
We were greeted right away and out of all the great choices they have we ordered the 12″ Brick Oven Roasted Chicken Pizza (Brick Oven Roasted Chicken, Garlic, Roasted Peppers, Tomato Sauce & Mozzarella). We waited for a long long time for our pizza and like I said earlier it was empty, but I think I saw that the server sent the pizza back to the kitchen for some reason so I am ok with that.
Once we got our pizza it was delicious! All the ingredients came together beautifully and it was super cheese which is always great! Absolutely no complains on their food and hopefully we can come back and try a different one next time we are in the area.
The biggest problem we had while we were there and the reason why I did not give them 5 starts is that the place had a lot of flies… it was kind of gross because they were all over us and even some of the in the bathroom and that is just annoying while you are trying to eat or just waiting to eat.
