This location has gotten a lot better since the new management took over. They always had good subs but the restaurant was dirty and staff was rude several months back. Now, the staff is extremely friendly, the sandwiches are great and the locale is clean, including the bathrooms. A lot of improvement over the last few months. This was a 2 star location and now it’s 4⁄5 for sure.

Wish I could give 4.5 stars! Maple bacon chicken sandwich was excellent. Very nice workers as always. I have been coming to this location for over 8 years and they consistently make great food.

Not your typical sub shop. Although the neighborhood isn’t the greatest, this Jon Smiths is excellent. The employees are very nice and focused on doing a good job with pride. I am also assuming the management may be the owner because everything is very clean including the bathroom. I had never been here before but I will certainly come back.

A good steak sub. Not great, but not bad. Very fast service.

I like the steak, cheese and onion but the bun falls short. Too soft, fluffy and big. I put all the goodies on half the bun and still needed to pull off some of the bread. I did think the french fries looked great!

I really like this place l. I mean its the closet thing this NJ girl will get to a cheesesteak sandwich. Its close to my house and fairly cheap in price. They have alot of other sandwiches but for now i just about the cheesesteak and its pretty good.

The subs taste pretty good. The problem is if you call in an order the lady that answers needs you to repeat your order 3 – 4 times. Even just ordering a foot long chicken bacon ranch. Then twice they forgot the ranch. But they nail my ham, bacon, roast beef, Swiss. The prices are a bit higher than I’d like but that’s price of quality

Meh. I ordered a 12 in Italian, which is basically the only thing I ever order at a sub shop. $ 9.99 + which is pretty steep. When they handed me the bag I thought I’d only gotten a half. It was seriously under sized and nothing special taste wise. This is the third sub place I’ve tried in the area and I’m still looking. Anyone who owns a sub shop around here should go to Totally Awesome Subs on Lake Worth Rd for some lessons. I’m guess I’m going to limit sub days to when I’m south.

Been here many time great sandwiches and great food. Very good attitude by the staff. Yummy toppings. Bomb sandwiches are awesome. Bread is good in my view even though someone gave this place a one star wow. I mean I went to Philadelphia, yes they have the good stuff, Tony Luke’s, Gino’s, REdding Terminal, Dinics, but this place is good for West Palm. And Fast

I was working in the area and co-worker recommended this place. Its a small sandwich shop with a great menu. I went for a 6inch cheeseburger bomb. Fantastic! It was fresh they made it right to order. This size was a great portion. I didn’t need anything else. Everything was fresh and the location was clean. We will come back again.

When i hear Jon Smith subs only one comes to mind-the chicken bomb-OMG! I used to live around the corner and never got tired of eating it with dirty potato chips, yumm. I moved from WPB and i wish they were a franchise :(

I am from Philly where the bread makes the sandwich. Even in New York they have great bread. The Sandwich Man on Atlantic & Congress in Delray has great bread. If only they had great bread which they don’t I would be a regular costomer. THEBEADISLIKEDOUGHITSUCKS !!! SORRY

I moved down to WPB from Long Island a little over a year ago. This place has been one of the best eateries I have found. The subs are not on what I would consider typical hero sandwich bread but gosh darn are they good. My favorite is the gator(not on the menu but they have a sign for it). It is steak, chicken, kielbasa, cheese and«swamp sauce» aka some kind of 1000 island based sauce. It is amazing. The fries are great and made fresh to order. I love it. A must try. Also, the staff at this location are great.

I am down here for a month for training at the airport and I wish this was a more national chain but it could probably lose its quality there. I always judge a place by its meatball sub, usually cheap and easy and even places like Subway make it taste bad. And this one was OUTSTANDING!!! Seriously if you are in the area visiting or living dont waste your money at any other sub joint come here! Note: When they say large sub they aren’t kidding! I was able to almost finish the sub and barely touched my fries which were also delicious!

I live in Philadelphia and Jon Smith kicks the crap out of any steak sub I can get up here in the City of Brotherly Love. I’m a huge fan of the Cajun and Teriyaki beef subs. I am ambivalent towards their fries and all of their non-sub items.

I“ve moved from West Palm Beach about well over 10 years now but I frequent at least twice a year. I still keep going back to Jon Smith’s because it brings back memories but most of all it is damn good subs. It’s not a Philly style cheesesteak and it doesn’t brag to be one. My favorites from this location is the Chicken Bomb w/extra cheese, jalepenos, mushroom, grilled onions, mustard, peppers, and bacon. Its heaven! Their menu has grown extensively and they now serve up so much more than they ever did 10 years ago. They’re still in business and have grown much larger. They still haven’t lost their personal touch and they stay true to their client-tel. I appreciate this about Jon Smiths subs and the food speaks for itself. Dont believe me? Visit one of their locations on the weekends during evening hours. You’ll see some devotees there they swear by their children’s lives that its euphoria between buns.
