Zaxby’s

The place is a mess and dirty. They have no grilled chicken. And the best part is they have NO napkins! We are eating in and have to wipe our hands on our pants. Unbelievable that an eat in restaurant would have NO NAPKINS TO GIVE CUSTOMERS.
Oh yea. And the food is bad too.
Won’t ever come back here.

Dirty, slow, food was greasy, not bad but not good. Soda machine was out of some flavors, bathroom could have been cleaner. Probably won’t be going back

I have only used the take out service from this restaurant. Tried the popular dishes, boneless wings and traditional wings. Not the biggest fan of the original sauce though. The texas toast was the best part of the meal. The chicken was average at best.

Good food, services sucks. Takes 15 minutes to get your food. Drive thru or in inside. papoose1980

Nice clean place and a nice staff. The only fail is that this place is fat fat fat and more fat, with a little chicken and some high fructose corn syrup that’s just fat-​in-​waiting. At least Chick Fil A, whose owners’ politics keeps me out of there, has salads that are salads and not 900‑1100 calories

Visited on Sunday about 2:30 and they were out if everything. No zax sauce, no ranch dipping sauce had to use salad dressing, no sweet tea and the napkins were these barely there paper that you use to dry your hands when u wash your hands in the bathroom. Upon ordering the ghettofied chick that took our order didn’t bother to tell us of their sauce situation, that was a nice surprise that came after we already paid for our food. When the order came out it had to be sent back for the fingers to be tossed in the sauce we requested upon ordering. The fries had no seasoning whatsoever, so we had to go back to the counter where we received a bag with a tiny bit of seasoning that barely seasoned the fries. The chicken was dry where it usually nice and juicy. I found myself having to ration my little packet of ranch dressing as they didn’t have many of those left either. I went to get ketchup and surprise there were no little ketchup cups, so i had to use a drink lid. When i went to refill my soda i noticed a light blinking on the soda machine, which i assume means thats about to run out of something as well. Multiple people at this location dropped the ball for acceptable service. Very disappointing considering we drove all the way from port St. Lucie just to have lunch here. Hopefully the one opening in Jensen beach soon is not as horrible as this one.

I have been to a couple Zaxby’s and I have never really cared for it, but this one was definitely the worst experience. First, I think that their prices are ridiculous for the quality of food that they serve. I went through the drive thru and waited nearly 30 minutes to get my food. By the time that I got home, my food was completely cold. This Zaxby’s might be better dining in, but I’m giving this rating for my experience with the drive thru.

Great food and service. Order online and pickup at the drive thru is awesome; quick and easy. Ideal for lunch time time crunch. Salads are my fave. Delicious.

This place is awsome wish they had zaxby’s in Broward or Miami Dade county that’s the only thing wrong with zaxby’s not enough locations it’s a 120 mile round trip every time I go for Zaxby’s

If I’m going to eat greasy fast food Zaxbys is a good choice. It’s like eating junk from tgif Friday’s without having to wait forever and tip.

Terribly run location. I’ve been to several zaxbys and like their food, but this store is out of Zax sauce, out of certain soda flavors, is dirty, and food takes forever.

I’ve been to many zaxbys and this one is just as good. A LOT OF these reviews are from when it first opened, there were 30 min waits and the food might have been under welming after waiting that long, so I wouldn’t recommend reading any review from 6 months+ from when I’m writing this.
Now the price is really good, the large finger plate is $ 9 comes with 2 pieces of toast, 2 zax sauces, fries and coleslaw (I always get double fries instead of coleslaw), and like 7 or 8 tenders. That’s a heck of a deal in my book. I am never able to finish it and I keep the leftovers for another meal!
The food here never takes long to get, our drive thru time tonight from ordering to receiving was about 2 mins. The food was hot and the chicken was juicy. The service is always friendly. The staff here is actually some of the best fast food staff in the area in my opinion. They are always friendly. Service with a smile is always appreciated. So please go in with an open mind and hungry tummy.

I tried a few times because I’m working very close. The service is fine but the food … it’s not. Maybe this is not for me.

I have been waiting for Zaxby’s to open in South Florida since I left Gainesville in 2006. I check every few months and to my pleasant surprise found this location.
After reading the reviews on here, I couldn’t believe I was actually hesitant to go after waiting so long.
I’m not sure if they recently changed things up, but I couldn’t have had a more positive experience. The staff were friendly and patient, and the food tastes just like I remember.
If your on the fence about this place after reading the negative reviews, I highly recommend you try it out for yourself.

After going to the one up in North Florida, I was ready to see what this one in West Palm had to offer. The menu consists of chicken items and the food was freshly prepared after we ordered. I got a huge grilled chicken ceasar salad that came with a side of toasted bread and couldn’t finish it all. My son loved the tender kids meal and the animal crackers were a sweet treat for him. The service was longer than anticipated for some unknown reason, but all was good when we had our dinner to chow down on.

This is the first time I’d been into one of these restaurants, and I Was pleasantly surprised. The place was immaculate, the menu good, and prices were in line with it’s main competition, Chic-​Fil-​A. I felt the chicken was as tasty as the competition and was of decent portion. The staff was pleasant. I’ll definitely stop by again

Something is missing. Seems a bunch of people like it. For me it was average fried food some on the salty side. Cordial service. Good pricing for the serving size. The wait once you order is a bit of a problem. Seems their system is fine. They need to streamline tasks. Teams were all over, albeit with good intentions but for example they looked for a guest who had been standing in front of them waiting for a milkshake. Use the speaker system, raise your voice but find them quickly instead of running around milkshake in hand. Clean place, good ambiance and nice parking easy in and out. Good bottomless soda choices.

Tried this a second time since it’s what my family wanted for lunch. It’s 2pm and maybe they are tired from a Sunday lunch rush? I don’t know but I am still not impressed! The manager jipped me 2 cents change, now I know 2 cents doesn’t break the bank, but it’s the principle. Charge me only 23 cents rather than 25 cents for sauce, you know THAT won’t happen. My Caesar salad was ok, nothing to write home about. The coke machine was out of coke and the sweet tea ran out while we were eating. It’s been opened for well over a month now and they still don’t have their act together. I gave 2 stars because the food was decent.

This location needs to step up their game if they are gonna try to compete in one of the best chicken areas of the SE US. In close proximity, there are two excellently run Chick-Fil-A’s, a long-​standing Buds, an extremely popular PDQ, and a couple Bay Bay’s that they have to compete against. Right now they are in last place in terms of service and will have to get a lot better if they hope to compete in the long-​run.
It took a good five minutes plus to place an order with a coupon. When we went to get our order they called my number and it still took five minutes to receive it after the call. A lady came up asking for her order and the staff looked clueless; another made it sound like they screwed up her order. The beverage station was a mess and there were no forks. The sweet tea ran out and there was none available for approx 15 minutes. For two meal dealz and a plate of five tenders we got one zax sauce and were not asked if we wanted any extra or what type. For how greasy the food is, there was only one place to get napkins.
The employees were not bad, but they were just reactive and not proactive like Chick-​Fil-​A and PDQ employees. My suggestion is that all the employees including management go to eat at the Chick-​Fil-​A on Palm Beach Lakes and PDQ near I-​95 during lunchtime to see how well they handle the crowds and manage the restaurant while providing exceptional service.
I’ve been going to Zaxby’s for around a decade and the food is the same good taste as the others locations. Foodwise, I would just recommend bringing it out a little hotter as the fries and chicken were only lukewarm.
One big plus for this place is that they are open till 11:00pm on Sundays — ROCK ON!

Zaxby’s is the bomb, but this location sucks. I am not sure if its because of the new staff getting acclimated or the dumbasses that don’t know how to place an order in drive through. Whenever I frequent Zaxby’s in Northern Florida or Georgia, the food is hot, fast and ready. Here, my order was wrong plus I waited almost 25 minutes, which is unacceptable. The parking lot is thin and narrow if you decide to go in and dine. Pulling out is like trying to piss into a shot glass that’s spinning on a record player that’s strapped to a cheetah’s back while you’re riding a unicycle on a tightrope blindfolded. If you never tried Zaxby’s before, make it a day in Orlando sometime. The food is good but West Palm reeks of epic fail.
Update:
Ok, I have to give credit where credit is due. I went back again one month later and despite having to wait for my food, it wasn’t nearly as long as it was my first visit. Might have been because of the time I went (7:30pm). The food was hot this time, but I had to recite my order back to staff (including the manager) about 2 – 3 times, which was a bit of a drag but at least I didn’t pull away with the wrong order. My only complaint was the fries were hot and soggy. They are usually crispier up north. They went out of their way to ensure I was happy. I will give them an extra star for that and for tightening up since my previous visit.
