PDQ

Ran to run an errand on a lunch break and decides to go through the drive thru as it was pouring. I was happy to come to a window with a human and not screaming into a microphone on a menu like other fast food joints. I ordered a 4 piece tender meal with fries. I was asked which sauce i would like. The meal was almost $ 9 with tax. I found that to be a little pricey consider what you get. The tenders were OK. Fries were very thin like shoestring and soggy. Sweet tea was good and brewed which I like. The sauce i chose was chiptole bbq and that was good. Not too sweet with a little heat. This was my second time trying it and wasn’t crazy about it but would go back to try a shake or another menu item. It wasn’t bad.

Forget the drive thru the line wrap around the building (understandable) except the team has no sense of urgency. Not fast food. Learn from chic filet!

The food is so good here. I absolutely love this place. There is a really nice, casual atmosphere, food comes out hot and fresh. I sit in the restaurant and eat mostly but order food to go a lot too. I have never been disappointed.

We have had some decent meals and some not so good. Inconsistency is what bothers me when I decide to go for a casual meal with my family, and that is what we get at PDQ lately. My daughter found a hair in her fries once and on another occasion I did too! And no it was not mine. The fries have been overly salty or burnt, and just not appetizing. Today, I had the crispy chicken sandwich, thinking it would be tasty as a weeknight meal but the batter was SO salty that I could not even finish it. You can add salt but you can’t take it out, so it makes sense to err on the side of caution. The staff is very friendly, but I think their process needs improvement from the back to the front of the house. I really don’t want to go there again for some time to allow this specific PDQ location to make some much needed adjustments. There are too many other places around.

My co-​worker and I went here for lunch last week and were not disappointed. This is almost like a slightly more formal version of chick-​fil-​a (think fast casual). The service was quick and very friendly. I had a chicken sandwich, fries, and an oreo milkshake. This was a heavy meal, which lead me to not eat dinner that night! All food and shake were delicious. My co-​worker thought their fried chicken sandwich was better than chick-​fil-​a, but I disagree. It’s a close second though! This is a good place for a quick lunch where you can still sit down and enjoy your meal without a complete fast food atmosphere.

For fast food this is as good as it gets. ever. amazing food. amazing quality. amazing service. consistency is key for me and this place never lets me down! I love everything from the tenders, to nuggets, to sandwiches, to salads! I cant say enough good things about PDQ!

Nothing special for me, except the friendly service. The portions were not proportionate to the price. I ordered a chicken sandwhich and fries. It was not bad but it was a piece of chicken on bread. I did not try the milkshakes. They looked good though. I will say I am a bit jaded about the chicken sandwhich. I pretty much know, that outside of a hot dog, chicken is among the cheapest meats. So knowing this, I have a hard time with the prices and portions of chicken sandwhiches, and I admit I am a hamburger guy. Definitely a 3 star for me.

Huge fan of this place. Probably been here thirty times.
For fast food, it deserves five stars. First of all, the quality of chicken is great. The chicken tenders are excellent and the buffalo sauce is great too. They also have grilled chicken tenders for someone who wants with eat healthy. The salads are are always fresh and the dressings are good too.
The restaurant is extremely clean. The upkeep is exceptional. They have a huge sink at the front door for guests to wash their hands and provide a lavender soap which smells great.
This restaurant spares nothing. They are very giving and friendly people. If you ask for extra sauces, they give them to you without charge. The prices are very good for the quality you get.
This place is not your average fast food Wendy’s, Burger King, etc… It is a step above that. It’s quality and I love it.
Service is exceptional. The same people have been there from the start. The chef who is the older gentleman at the counter is efficient and the lady who helps out in the dining room really makes it a wonderful experience every time.

Deelish chicken! I love their brioche & customer service… so polite & knowledgeable… I love this location & its darn tasty after making vegan food all day!!!

Came in last night with a huge smile on my face and Maya the cashier made it even bigger!
I was just already in such a happy mood, and her pleasant-​ness and attitude just made me even happier. There ended up being a fire in the AC unit so we had to be evacuated, and I was struggling trying to put my food in take out boxes and she came over and helped out. She was honestly the sweetest girl!
Always a pleasure coming to this PDQ. The customer service quality always matches the food’s quality (exceptional!)

It was my first time going there I went with a friend on a Wednesday night after we spent the day at city place we were hungry so she asked me if I ever gone too PDQ I told her no so we came and ate. I order the Chicken tender it was hot and it taste good with the sauce and French fries. It wasn’t that busy the night we went we sat down and ate I will be going back again.

Never EVER a bad meal here. Employees are super friendly and accommodating. Milkshakes are delish. My only complaint? They need More chicken on the salads. I usually order extra tenders to put in my salad. Beats the CRAP outta Zaxbys. Love my PDQ!!!

Never heard of this place, but recently started working close to this PDQ location. I ended up eating there 3 days in a row after my first time trying it. Very clean establishment, excellent food, great service, and very good prices.
Definitely recommend!

the crispy chicken sandwich was unbelievable!!! The bread, the sauce, the tender chicken, it all combined to make one great sandwich. Beats out the Chic-​fil-​a chicken sandwich in every category!
But don’t leave after the chicken! Make sure to snag a milk shake. The ice cream they use for their shakes is quality. If you’re not a fan of super sweet deserts, skip the «malted» option on your milkshake. Not only do they add malt, but they add fudge as well. It’s really good, but it immediately smacks you with a sugar coma.
Next time I visit, I may ask for «malted» without the fudge.
I did try my friends shake and his was much better. Less sweet and almost just as delicious.

In the top 3 of best quality fast food! They totally get it! They have outstanding service and food. I use the drive –thru for most of my visits.
They have staff with iPads standing in the heat taking orders from the cars in queue. They are friendly and efficient. They use your name throughout the transaction. I can appreciate their process since I am in the service industry. There is a window where you pay, where again they use your name, and another window to pick up food – use your name again! If you love hearing your name, you will frequent this place!
The menu is quite simple… they serve chicken tenders, fried or grilled. You can order just chicken or it can be in the form of a sandwich or salad. Their batter is not a heavy coating, crispy.
I haven’t tried their fries yet. They have blueberry cole slaw that is light tasting.
I love their sauces and you can have all of them free of charge so do it!
When you dine inside, they have the same spectacular service. Plus they have a flavored water station with overwhelming options.
It is always busy at lunch time so go earlier or later.
PDQ…people demand quality and they deliver!

Even though our party of 6 arrived at PDQ after 9 pm, the service and quality of food we received last night was excellent. We stayed at PDQ until after 10 (closing time) catching up with family members who stayed at a nearby hotel for the evening. No one rushed us out. Restaurant is clean. Crew members circulate through the dining room from time to time to pick up trays, trash, and offer refills on drinks. My chicken salad with cranberries, toasted sweet almonds, and blueberry vinegarette dressing was fantastic. Blueberry cole slaw was a disappointment — there was a few blueberries tossed into regular cole slaw which didn’t add much to the flavor. PDQ is a little more expensive than fast food joints but the quality and service is worth it.

I am updating my review… cause I think that someone listened… tried again today. My order was ready in 3 minutes in the drive thru! I had the grilled chicken sandwich (like I should have ordered the other day) and it was fresh, hot… and the chicken was larger than the bun, seasoned right… and the lettuce was cold, crisp and fresh — that never happens anywhere! Way to go PDQ for fixing any mistakes. Your (same guy) drive thru person smiled and was super nice! Thank you — I didn’t get in trouble today for being late back to work from lunch :)
Visited today and boy … long time wait in the drive through about 15 minutes and only one car ahead of me. Got the chicken cali grill sandwich — grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, ranch on nice bread. Minus one star: Bread is way too big and chicken too small for the bread, minus two star: chicken is rubbery and had no seasoning, weird texture when chewing it, minus three star: THE WAIT and no customer service at the window… blah. I have been to PDQ before and loved the grilled chicken sandwich with pickles. I should have ordered that today maybe. I love Chick Fil A so much better — grilled chicken is seasoned and more tasty. Kind of expensive at PDQ too. sandwich was $ 6.00…and not big enough to be satisfying. Won’t be back.

Speed and quality depends on the manager working there day of visit. Besides food is always good and plenty of options. I have had the tenders, sandwiches, fries, milkshakes and other as well. My favorite is the buffalo chicken sandwich.
Only problem is which sauce to choose… So many good options — buffalo blue and garlic are probably the best :-)

Chicken meats healthy? (Ha! I know you saw that pun.)
PDQ. People Dedicated to Quality or Pretty Damn Quick. It’s about both.
It’s amazing to see in a sea of fast food competitors, how each can stand out.
PDQ offers a large chicken and salad variety. A plus is the chicken fingers for example. You can get them 3,4,5,… With fries, without fries. A lot of customization available. I like smaller and don’t like other spots where you gotta get 50 nuggets.
The breading on the chicken is minimal which is good and bad. It doesn’t taste as heavy, greasy and fatty as other places, but being a thinner layer of coating makes it easier to slip off the chicken. But tastes good.
The fries are thin and taste fresh.
There’s many salad and healthier, non-​fries offerings. Lunch or dinner this place seems busy often.
They have drive thru.

Wow. This is a fast food chain? I had never even heard of PDQ since they don’t have them in the Northeast. I actually thought it was a regular restaurant before I noticed the drive-​thru.
The staff were great. The guy that took our order actually came around during our meal to check on us. Its also nice that you can see them preparing the food and the chefs are wearing actual chef jackets.
An awesome alternative to Burger King or McDs. The chicken Caesar salad was delicious and pretty big. I couldn’t finish it all. I will definitely be picking this place in the future whenever I need a fast meal.
