About a month ago they stated that they now serve meat in addition to the vegan options, yet they kept the name — Vegan Café! Additionally, there have been posts to their fb page that they are not paying their employees, these posts have been removed. I have been there 3 or 4 times with a very unsatisfying experience each time. One time I actually witnessed the kitchen staff dropping food on the floor and picking it up! Just the fact that they advertise as vegan when they are no longer is enough to make me never want to return here!

VERYPOOR customer service! I don’t believe the woman who took her order even understands what eating vegan manes. We were a party of two. I clearly ordered gluten-free food. After about 10 minutes a party of six walked in and sat near us. They were served their food before us but one of their dishes was accidentally placed in front of my companion. Because our food is taking so long they offered us two blueberry muffins. A nice gesture however I clearly ordered a gluten-free meal and therefore couldn’t eat the muffins as well we had already by that time been waiting at least 30 minutes for our food. When they did bring our food, once again attention to detail was lost. I ordered the larger size gluten free /vegan Mac and cheese; they brought me the small version. The woman offered to compensate me and take it off my bill. I am looking at my bank statement now and see that not only did she not take the item off of my bill, she in fact charged me a second time.

Delicious! A bit weird bc it’s shared with the pharmacy but it’s super clean, nice tables & chairs. We actually stumbled upon this place by accident thinking it was a different restaurant. The food is yummy, and the owner/chef came to us to explain the menu! Super friendly!

I thought with a new vegan spot opening up on Clematis, it would be amazing. Overpriced/underwhelming menu(think $ 8 for two small spring rolls that are deep fried thus no nutrients left in veggies) The side salad that comes with everything is doused in a dressing that is way too acidic and vinegar-y. The waitress Gabrielle was beyond rude to my friend and does not know the service industry(aka if someone does not like the dish, take it off the bill and suggest something else — do not leave it on the tab and argue that«you wasted the food»)??? Won’t be going back. I hadn’t been here before, and I won’t be here again. My friend apologized for taking me because she had been there a few times before and had just gotten a smoothie and thought I may like it. GOTODARBSTER’S ONDIXIE!!!

I am writing this while still seated and having just finished my lunch. The service has been just perfect. From the moment that I walked in, and throughout my lunch, I received the perfect amount of attention and help. The kamboucha was delicious. It was my first time trying it and I loved it. The veggie burger was very interesting and also exciting because it was unlike any other veggie burgers that I have had. I will definitely come back and will bring my non-vegan friends. They will be very surprised to see such quality in a vegan restaurant.

I’m so happy this little place is right across the street from the huge library! I stopped by here one day after spending a few hours at the library(did Yoga and checked out some books) and it was wonderful to have this place right across the street! Most Yogini’s are Vegetarian or Vegan and as I stopped in, I noticed that more than half of the Yoga class that I just sweated it out with, stopped in here too. Most people when they start eating Vegetarian & /or Vegan, experience a flushing out of Toxins, stored up decayed meat and rotting flesh in their intestines and a cleansing of the nether regions. When they stop consuming dairy, milk and cheese they notice immediately that all their acne and face blemishes are gone. Their body may not be used to this, but it’s the best feeling, being light, acne free and extremely healthy. Even if you’re not Vegan or Vegetarian, I suggest start out slowly and order something from the menu of this great place. Even replacing two or three meals a week with a vegetarian or Vegan meal, you’ll see a difference in your skin and you’ll feel lighter. Try the Vegan Pizza– Super YUMMY!

This place is a little gem! The staff is sweet and wonderful, always remember you. The owner is great! He has such an amazing story about opening the place. I truly love the vibe! His fermented foods are very good! He knows his stuff! I love the stuffed avocado, the Mac n ‘cheese’ and the spring rolls! Very delicious! Their iced tea is out of this world! Coffee is fresh and wonderful! It’s an interesting little place because it shares a space with the pharmacy so it gives it a cool vibe. However when you are trying to relax and hang out sometimes the pharmacy clerk staff are very loud and obnoxious with their friends. I teeter back and forth with if I would like the place better if it was on it’s own. Either way the food is yummy and delicious so I keep going back :)

I really wanted to like the Vegan Café. I really enjoy Christopher’s up on Palm Beach Gardens and hoped the Vegan Café would be a close alternative. We gave it four tries. Three of four were exceptionally bad. Twice resulted in stomach pains. Like many Vegan restaurants, they have recipes for cheese-alternatives and the like. The problem is that each of these is overdone. Best way I can explain the taste would be to imagine a salad that is drowned in balsamic dressing to the point where you taste nothing but a sharp acidic taste. Worse, it’s not particularly healthy. Vegan, yes. Carb-conscious, not so much. Just about all of their juice-smoothies are exceptionally high in calories. Natural, sure, but extremely high in calories none-the-less. You won’t find the cold-pressed Romain/Spinach, etc. For Vegan options, Christopher’s in Palm Beach Gardens is a *far* better alternative. Although Christopher’s is overpriced and pretentious(don’t make the mistake of asking for a diet coke) — the food is amazing. Although the new location on Clematis is an improvement, I stand by the recommendation for an alternative.

Lots of Raw and vegan choices. I had the raw pizza. Wife had the curry and salad with cucumber mint dressing. It’s wonderful to have the choice of eating out and getting real food. This is a solid vegan restaurant.
