no, i don’t have a winn-​dixie card– and i don’t want one either. why do i need to give you my e-​mail, address, and phone number + have to carry another piece of plastic on my key ring just to get the advertised price?
monster energy drinks are 2 for $ 4 at just about every gas station in palm beach county. winn-​dixie has them for $ 2.59 a can. that’s one example of many where they aren’t competitively priced.
why have all of those cash registers if you refuse to open more than 2 at a time? getting out of here is impossible. the express lane is usually the longest wait. it might have something to do with the ’20 or less’ sign. 20 OR LESS? «pssssst. the express lane is supposed to be for shoppers who drop in to grab some odds and ends, or a quick lunch. not for some old lady doing her weekly shopping.»
this place appears understaffed. the level of people it is staffed with are without question inferior to publix employees in terms of overall competence and customer service.
the class of people this shopping plaza attracts is pretty cringe-​worthy. i would drive past 7 winn-dixie’s just to get to a publix.
