Excellent! !! Would highly recommend this place. Food was hot fresh and staff was very friendly. We traveled from Jupiter Farms and it was definitely worth the trip. We will definitely be back. We even got some for tomorrow

My mom has a craving for Chinese food every once in awhile, and uses my visit as a reason to indulge. I don’t live in the area any longer, so I consulted Unilocal for a local gem. Yin Can Cook had decent reviews so I figured it was worth a shot. I decided to order the dinner portion of cashew chicken, and my mom ordered the same. She added on a large portion of pork lo mein. The total came to almost $ 30. I tried to reason with her about splitting an order of cashew chicken, but she wasn’t having it. Portions were huge, per usual with most Chinese restaurants. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love vegetables, but this cashew chicken had TOO many. Give me some chicken and some cashews and that’s it. No mushrooms, no carrots, and definitely no celery. It was pretty salty as well. I left most of my meal for my mom to eat the next day. The fried rice — dry for my liking. I did not try the pork lo mein but it looked sad. My dad tried it and didn’t like it at all. I’m not sure if my parents will order from there again when my mom gets a craving, but I wasn’t impressed.

Dingy place, but spot-on cooking, and friendly, professional staff. Really well done of its ilk.

I recently tried Yin Can Cook several times in order to evaluate the different menu items. My wife is Chinese and is very fussy about Chinese food. Every dish that we tried was excellent! The best test was yesterday when we invited our family to our home(6 people) for dinner. I purchased 7 different dishes and everyone enjoyed all of the dishes. The party was a success, because of Yin’s excellent takeout food! I recommend Yin Can Cook!

Since new ownership, this place is not worthy. I was a long time customer but not anymore. Their delivery fiasco was the last straw. The food is more bland now, but my gosh, the delivery and lack of service is terrible! What is worse, they have a $ 12 min order for deliver AND charge $ 2 for delivery so one person is going to be hit up for a min of $ 15 for mediocre food. Visit Chopstix House instead.

I can only write this review of Yin’s on their performance as a carry-out location. There are two or three tables inside that can maybe seat 2 to 4 people each, but the appearance inside is pretty spartan to say the least — read as «not much atmosphere». If you’re in a pinch for lunch and are just looking for a place to eat it alone without having to balance it on your knee in your car, eat inside. I’d recommend phoning in an order on your way home, and eat it on your own dining room table, from a plate, with real silverware, like we did. Christmas Day, basking in the afterglow of tearing into presents under the tree, Dr. Who marathons, and TBS’s annual 24-hour homage to Ralphie Parker and family. At about 2pm, everybody starts to get hungry for lunch, and«Christmas Story» gets to the great scene in Bo-Ling’s Chop Suey Palace, where the Parker’s are introduced to Chinese Turkey, and we are hit with a moment of inspiration; let’s order Chinese! A quick search on Unilocal!identifies Yin’s as the nearest place to the house, and a quick phonecall verifies that they are indeed open for business on Christmas Day! «No lunch menu on holidays, just dinner portions», the voice on the other end imparts. Thankfully, their entire menu is on their web-site, so we were able to put together our order for 4 pretty quickly. As were they — 15 minutes later I was driving home with Egg Drop Soup for 4, egg rolls, and 4 entrees. My «go to» meal when I eat Chinese someplace for the first time is General Tso’s Chicken with fried rice. My wife and daughter ordered shrimp and vegetables, and my mother ordered sweet and sour chicken with lo mein. The soup was very good, not too salty or brothy like most Asian restaurants I seem to try always make it, and the egg rolls were quite crispy, too. Not just the outer wrap, but the shredded cabbage, too, was almost crunch, it had so much snap to it. Really fresh tasting, and not oily, again like most Asian fare I end up with. The General Tso’s chicken was extremely tangy and hot(spicy), with a nice burn that didn’t make me sweat, but made my nose run a little bit. If you read my reviews regularly, like Martha says, «That’s a good thing!» Even the fried rice was very fresh tasting, and not clumpy or overly flavored with saffron. The flavor of the small pieces of pork and pepper mixed in with the rice really made it sing. I tried some of my mother’s sweet and sour chicken with lo mein, and really enjoyed it. Yin’s makes it a little different then I’m used to eating it – all the sauce is on the side, and you dunk each piece of chicken in the sauce yourself, as apposed to sauteing the chicken in a skillet WITH the sauce. It still tasted good, just different then I’m used to, and her lo mein was, again, extremely fresh tasting. My wife and daughter both enjoyed most of their meals, and saved the balance for later. Everybody enjoyed their lunch, and I made it a point to add their phone number to my contact list in my cellphone. I will be ordering again very soon.

They were consistently good over the year that I lived in lake park and ordered from them very often(3x a month or more). After the old man quit the food tasted a bit different but not bad. Very nice cashiers and deliver everything you ordered with very fair prices
