Once we found this shop we stopped buying meat at the grocery store. We like the service, price and less packaging. Always able to get us what we are looking for.
My son in law used him to butcher a deer, and was surprised at how reasonable it was.

A great butcher shop that has a nice selection and prices below or at the Chain store pricing, but the quality is Choice and above. If do not see what you want, they will get it for you or cut the cut you want. Beef, Pork and Chicken. It is nice to shop at a place that the story of farm to your table is important and shared with customers.
Nice people, staff, family owned business. Wonderful way to support a local business and obtain superior quality products at a fair price.
I have tried most of the beef cuts and always impressed with the tendernes and flavor. I used to be a fan of Y fresh market hamburger, but Olde Towne has better tasting and a lower prices for hamburger.
The new Customer Loyalty Plan and the special price on Hamburger this month, makes it an extreme value offering of high quality meat.

Super impressed with this shop! The first thing I noticed was how fresh the meat looked. The owner greeted me with a smile and happily filled my order. If he didn’t have what I needed he told me where I could find it, and also told me a lot of times if you call ahead he can usually have what you need. For instance, ground lamb. He doesn’t have that ground in the display cases, you would need to call ahead and order it. I was very impressed overall. I will definitely buy my meats here from now on. :)
*also– he had a variety of rubs, spices and sauces available for purchase as well.

We tried the Blueberry Maple breakfast sausage. Really good. Slightly sweet, maple flavor, smokey, a little bit of heat. The shop is small, but they have a good selection, nice, friendly people. We will be back!

We have purchased pork chops, Italian sausage, and bratwurst and enjoyed them all. The sausages were especially good as they are very meaty without being dry and are spiced/​herbed to our tastes. For example, I don’t want an Italian sausage to taste like licorice but I do want some fennel flavor. They are not salty either.
Prices reasonable, very good selection, and high quality sourced meats.

Great specialty meat shop. Got some great steaks and sausages. Polite friendly staff always willing to answer questions and treating you right effortlessly. I will be back. Very good service and great meat.

A little out of the way, but worth the drive. Old Towne Meats is a family owned independent business with over 18 years of experience.
The Good:
Meat quality is outstanding and consistent, not hit and miss like the supermarkets.
The prices are reasonable for a quality product. The beef is all choice grade and up, not select.
The owner does a double fine grind on this hamburger (yes, he grinds his own meat — Yokes buys chubs of ground beef and re-​packages it). It eats like steak! and at a little over 3.00 per lb, it’s a steal.
