I have been a customer at Stor-​House for almost two years and I have the utmost confidence in the service and security of this storage business. I think the confused guy with the bread analogy, mistook Dan’s thorough approach to helping a new possible customer find the exact type of storage unit to fit their specific needs. When I first came in, I was asked the same questions and very much appreciated the precise details that Dan was able to provide. Because of that thoroughness; I am very pleased and plan on being a long term customer. The storage unit that Dan suggested for me was exactly the right fit and pricing for my long term storage needs. Dan, your thoroughness and your commitment to your company make customers very happy and want to recommend this business to others… thank you.

Let me give you an analogy for how this company works using entering a grocery store and trying to buy a loaf of bread.
You walk into the bread aisle, expecting to find many loafs of bread for sale with prices labeled on each shelf as in other stores you have been to. Instead you find each loaf wrapped in black paper and no visible prices anywhere. You track down a store employee and ask if you could buy a loaf of bread and how much it will cost you. The employee’s response is to ask you what you want the bread for. «How big is your family? How many people are you going to be feeding with this bread?»
You, a little perturbed by this, respond that you just want to see all of your options for bread and the prices and you can pick your own bread. The employee graciously tells you that he is there to help you through the complicated process of buying bread. They have many different bread options, even ones made with honey and ones that contain nuts. If you would only give him some idea of how you were going to use that bread he could help you pick the right bread.
«If you were to freeze this bread,» he asks, «how many loafs could you fit in your freezer? Are you planning on making sandwiches with this bread? Or are you going to toast it or make french toast?»
Thoroughly confused by this line of questioning you insist that they just tell you how much the bread costs and what kinds of bread they have. You express that you don’t think this is a good way to sell bread. The employee says he is sorry you feel that way. You reply «So what you’re saying is bread is cheaper at Costco?» No reply…
C’mon people. Renting a storage shed is not rocket science. All hiding the prices and options makes me think is that I am either getting ripped off or scammed.

I have been a customer of Stor-​House in Richland for over 6 ½ years. I have been truly satisfied with the customer service Dan has provided all these years. I have always felt my items were secured at all times in my storage unit. I would highly recommend this storage location to any family and friends.

I’ve made 2 moves in the last 14 months and didn’t want to move a lot of «extra» furniture until I knew the size of new places. Since I was worried about some older pictures and some fragile books, I wanted a climate controlled place. The unit is perfect, the size just right, security and access are great, especially when you know you won’t be in town often. Felt confident that everything was in order and time away was worry-​free. Payment from out of town, on-​line was smooth and easy and Manager is helpful and has supplies for any move related issues. Thanks so much for the great service and super clean area.

This is a very good storage unit for the amenities you get and for the price you pay. I wanted to travel for a while and I tried to find a proper storage unit in the area, but this was the best one. The other ones were overly expensive or they did not have the same security and features. Some of the other storages were sketchy looking as well. I am completely impressed with this storage unit.
But, this is only half the story. The manager who resides on the property was very kind, friendly and helpful. I haven’t rented many storage units, but, this manager went out of his way to help me move my stuff and he also made me feel very secure about leaving my belongings there. All in all, very nice storage unit with excellent amenities and to top it off — a manager who knows how to provide extraordinary customer service. Deservedly 5 stars!
