My standing(but true) joke is that Paula’s has ruined donuts for me. I used to drive through Dunkin or Tim Hortons on occasion and grab a quick one now and then. But never anymore. Having a Paula’s donut(take your flavor pick, they’ve all got fans) makes all the rest just a waste of time and calories. Friendly, fun, and priced like it’s still 1960. Favorite Paula-related moment was seeing Alton Brown live at Shea’s Theater last year and during the audience question part at the end, he was asked«What’s the best thing you had to eat while in Buffalo?» He answered«Paula’s Donuts». Pretty much says it all.

Great donuts, bad service. Went on free donut day around 5:00PM which if you buy a drink the donut is free. I bought said drink and got my donut. Went and sat down. Enjoyed the donut and glanced over at my receipt and realized they charged my for the donut! I know it’s only a couple bucks but I wouldn’t have even went if it wasn’t for the free donut and I found it hard to believe that after all day if giving people free donuts you’d forget to make the donut free but I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I went up to the counter, got a different worker, and I very kindly said, how I was charged for the donut but I got a drink and I was told it would be free today. With no apology or anything I get, «I can give you another free donut» no option for my money back. After a little bit I get her to get my money back, sorry most of my money back. Didn’t get the tax I paid for the donut, I know I know it’s a couple cents, principal though and I even asked for my money back and whatever the tax was for it so there was no mistaking they were just lazy and didn’t care. And again as I did get most of my money back, no «sorry for the inconvenience» or anything. Great donuts, not worth the rude workers trying to rip you off. I recommend checking receipts if you go there.

Outstanding. I wish I lived closer so I could try them warm. The peanut butter angel cream and red velvet are other-worldly treats. These donuts are very dense in both texture and sugar — it’s hard to just eat one, but you’ll be sorry if you don’t. Angel cream. Damn, the perfect name. These fillings have been gifted by a celestial being. I’d suggest heading right over to Paula’s now. BYOI. Bring your own insulin.

These donuts are fresh amazing and freaking huge! Not to mention fairly priced. I’m a donut lover and resisted this place for years because of all the local hype. I’m glad I walked in. I normally eat at least 2 donuts but here one to one and a half will really fill you up. Red Velvet is my favorite!

Who doesn’t love Donuts(Fluffy Dough filled with either Fruity Jams or Smooth Creamy Filling). I remember having there Red Velvet Stick at the Taste of Buffalo 2 years ago, It was pretty tasty but I wish that it had a Cream Cheese filling in the center(little bit of a let down). Last year they at the Taste they these Donut Holes(Balls of Doughy goodness and they were Cherry Flavored) They were so addicting I felt like I could eat an entire box of them. Its awesome that they put a location in the Southgate Plaza(its a 7 minute Drive or a 45 minute walk from my House). You can choose between 50 different types of Donuts to choose from, in Glazed(Orange, Cherry, Red Velvet, Pumpkin, Apple Crisp & Blueberry), Jelly(Black Forest &PB&J), Bavarian(Chocolate Frosted & Toasted Coconut), Angel Cream(Peanut Butter, Maple Angel & Coconut Cream), Other Filled(Key Lime & Lemon) and Unfilled(Cinnamon, S’Mores, Peanut Sticks and Crullers). My brother Nathan took me over there for a donut not too long ago, he got the Red Velvet Donut, and I got the Peanut Butter Angel Cream(They don’t skimp on the filling). This is a place to go for some Amazing Donuts !!!

The donuts are like a drug. Once you start you cannot stop and you get every penny’s worth! The red velvet is to die for and you are full until dinner time! Lol!

I love Paula’s! It is probably bad that there is a location closer to me, but I am happy for their success. The Southgate plaza location is spacious, clean, and welcoming. How can you be grumpy surrounded by donuts? I usually get their coffee and 2 donut deal which is around $ 4. The coffee is pretty good, not the best in the world, but that is not why I come here. They move the line efficiently and they are usually well stocked on all varieties. Just close your laptop lid, get in the car, and go. Please grab me a peanut stick while you are there!

Waited in line for 20 minutes to get a dozen donuts. 6 jelly filled and the rest assorted. The jelly ones did not have any jelly as in someone forgot to fill them… The rest of the donuts were ok… Regular donuts. Disappointed

This place is a goldmine — always packed. We were there around 10am on a Saturday and the place was hopping. I was bummed they were out of the peanut donut holes and iced cappuccinos. We ended up ordering 2 dozen holes and half dozen regular, as we couldn’t give up on the flavors(peanut stick, cinnamon apple, peanut and angel cream, chocolate frosted angel cream, chocolate honey cruller). Doughnuts are huge and fresh. I cannot even finish one.

So if you’ve been to one of the original locations of Paula’s Donuts, you know what to expect: some of the best donuts anywhere. They heavy, dense, filled with diabetic-shock inducing delightfulness. 2 donuts and a coffee is a great deal. Eat one donut, save the other for later! One of the nice things about this location is that it’s nice and large, with some nice booths and tables for sitting and consuming. My only complaint, which is really minor is that this location employs a lot more teenagers, and some of them are surly and noncompliant. Lee needed a coffee stirrer for his coffee and it took some time to get the attention of someone. Otherwise, it’s awesome.

Paula’s Donuts. The name alone is enough to awake the inner beast of any Buffalo local; even if you hate donuts. I’m extremely glad they finally opened up shop in the Southtowns but at the same time my waistline is not as excited about this new business, but I don’t generally care what my waist thinks anyway. I have a few favorite donuts from here: Red Velvet, Coconut, Peanut Butter filled, Cheese, and the list goes on. I’ve never had a bad donut from Paula’s donuts but I usually do get a tummy ache from eating too many. Hide your kids, hide your scales, forget your New Year’s Resolutions; Paula’s Donuts is worth every inch.

I was so excited to have a location close to home and their donuts did not disappoint! Huge, fresh and delicious donuts at your fingertips. The location is easy with plenty of parking and a nice place inside with a little coffee counter to the side. Definitely the place to go for amazing donuts.

I try like hell to stay away from here. .. because(even for a non-donut lover) everything I’ve tried at Paula’s was totally irresistible. No pastry for the faint of heart, Paula’s donuts are hefty monsters that can be a challenge to finish in one sitting. My favorite is the key lime – stuffed with no less that ½ cup of tangy key-lime filling and topped with crispy toasted coconut. A close second place is the peanut stick, a moist and delicious raised donut covered in a not-overly-sweet glaze and rolled in crushed peanuts. My husband favors the chocolate and peanut-butter varieties(including a filled peanut-butter & jelly creation). While the dining space is nothing to write home about, it makes no difference. Your eyes will be happily rolled back in your head after the first bite.

Best donuts you will ever find. I if you are buying a dozen bring along someone to help carry them.

The doughnuts are not as big as the place on Main Street and the filling in the doughnuts are not as much also. I live in West Seneca and don’t think I will be going there anymore. I will wait till I’m in the area of the one on Main st. Before I buy anymore.

What is all the hype with this place? Donuts were slightly larger than Market in the Square’s next door. But, the flavor was pretty much the same. Not worth $ 1.10 each!

I have never had a Paula’s Donut until this am. Every person I know RAVES about these. I have been passing the new West Seneca location since their opening and have seen the parking lot mobbed. At 4.30am. I enjoy sweet gooey as much as the next person however I am not up to nor completely understand the wait. I’m guessing the hype has died down. Four people ahead of me at 5.30am. Cool. The donuts are good and tasty. Not enormous as I have been told. Maybe this location is different but I am just seeing standard sized donuts. The glaze and dough were very good. Not too much of the oddly manufactured sticky glaze that seems to have been made from Crisco or some random oil. I was very impressed with the yeasty dough. Perfect texture and taste. Bottom line, my impression. Good eats but maybe not so much for the hype that preceded it. May they flourish!

A brand spanking new Paula’s Donuts opened in the Southgate Plaza in beautiful West Seneca. This makes me so happy that I got up early this morning at 5:00 am to get donuts to take to work for my coworkers. The workers there are handling the customers like pros. I didn’t have to wait long at all because I was there super early, but I heard the lines have been crazy later in the morning and all day long. Needless to say, my coworkers were very happy to see the donuts. I can’t believe the large size of these donuts! A peanut stick is big enough to share with 3 people! Paula’s definitely has the best donuts!

This is the 3rd location of Paula’s empire. The waiting line has been out the door since they opened up and there is very good reason for this. They simply have *the best* donuts anywhere, hands down. Even amidst the chaos of a fully packed store, the staff were friendly and cheerful. And the donuts are just as good as the other two locations on Sheridan and Main. Quality was not sacrificed a bit despite the overwhelming customer response. Thank you to Paula’s for finally opening a southtowns location. We thank you!
