Star Walk Chinese Buffet

I wish i could give this place zero stars. First of all, the waitress tried to give me a high chair that clearly belongs in the dumpster. It was very wobbly and extremly dangerous. When i asked for a new one and showed her how badly it was falling apart, she gave me a crazy look and walked away mumbling in chinese. On to the food. absolutley horrible. Everything was cold, hard, and flavorless. You can tell it had been sitting there untouched or unchanged. It was so bad i would not allow my daughter to eat anything because i was worried she would get sick. Hell, my stomach was hurting before we even left. The sweet and sour chicken had hard, black stuff in it and the general tso chicken was nothing but a piece of fat with horrible sauce on it. The best thing there was the vegetable fried rice, even though it was cold and was pretty good. We left there still very hungry because most of the stuff was not appetizing or appeared unedible. Lastly, we brought a coupon that was for buy one adult buffet get one half off OR 15% off the bill. Since there were 2 adults we obviously wanted the buy one get one half off, right?! well of course they decided to only give us the 15% off. Needless to say she did not get a tip because of this, and that is SO not like me. I always leave a tip everywhere. Obviously, i will never return here, even if it were free and i do not recommemd it to anyone.

Disappointing. Selection was limited, and most of the food on the buffet was dried out. For 6:30 at night, food quality should have been better. The ‘sushi’ selection was non existent. In fact, the 11 pieces of sushi that were out, were there and untouched most of my visit. Would not recommend. Won’t return.

A far as Chinese buffets in the region go, this one is better than most. A wide selection to choose from, and helpful friendly staff.
Still, their food was better when they were China Sea in the Wimbledon Plaza many, many years ago. The current incarnation of this restaurant has dropped down a couple of notches on the quality meter, but still, you could do worse for a Chinese buffet in Buffalo.

I am not a fan of buffets. The food is usually crap. I can honestly say this is not the case with Star Walk.
Came here last weekend with daughter, hubby and grandchildren. I did not come willingly. I was coerced. I was also very surprised at the overall quality and taste of the food that was offered up. I will never understand how sushi or French fries or mashed potatoes can be incorporated into a Chinese buffet. They are here and Thank God for that. Kids filled up on fries and fruit, not a bad thing. Hubby tried everything and absolutely loved the sushi.
By and large, it is a good restaurant. The prices and choices are good. There are also coupons available via the Pennysaver as well as various grocery store receipts.
Will I come back? I hope not but it may just happen.
