This is the best gallery on Martha’s Vineyard! Hands down. It is almost like your favorite museum with a few things you can actually afford. Even if you are not in the market for art– go to be inspired– the art is breath taking. No visit to the island is complete without a visit.

This is a wonderful Gallery offering a full range of Art and antiques. Warm and engaging staff, knowledgable friendly staff without pressure. A MUSTSEE when visiting Martha’s Vineyard. Prices are affordable to collector items realistically priced.

The nicest people, gorgeous art with a broad range of appeal and monthly openings with an open bar and a fantastic mix and mingle atmosphere. All housed in a great old barn with several additions. AND there’s a lovely patio in the back which creates a breezy outdoor space for the openings and displaying more art. There are always paintings I really want in here, but some of the prices are way over a year’s salary for me, so all I can do is park myself in front of them for a while and try to memorize them as best I can. That will have to do for now. It’s clear the artists are chosen to appeal to islanders, with the themes of the ocean, nature, sailing and Massachusetts. Most of it is fairly representational– not a lot of modern art here– and you can find some antiques, folk art, jewelry, sculpture and photography in addition to the paintings. I stop in all the time and never get tired of it. And I have made some purchases over the years. But I am still lusting after some of the paintings I could never afford unless I marry a millionaire or make a discovery of ancient Anglo Saxon gold with the neighbor’s metal detector. They have a solid web site, but nothing beats going there in person.(Frankly, I doubt I would ever buy expensive art directly from a web site.) Wherever you are on the island, make sure you plan a visit or stop in if you see the flag flying as you drive by. And bring the kids. This place is surprisingly kid friendly and a perfect spot to expose your children to the joys of being in an art gallery.

The staff was very nice they had some nice artwork. You must check out the back patio where they display more artwork. There were some pieces I personally want to buy but expensive of course. Maybe one day. But this place you have visit if you are ever in Martha’s Vineyard and an art lover like me.
