What a cool place! It’s got an old style to it and the workers here are really nice. My wife and I got a complimentary sundae as we waited and they brought the food to us with a smile. I haven’t been to a place like this in years. I recommend it.

Tried it for the first time a week ago before going to the movies. It was good, not great. The place was clean and the staff were professional and friendly. Wasn’t a huge fan of the steak burger but it wasn’t awful. It may be my palette just prefers a beef burger instead of a fast food steak burger. The fries were very good. I’d eat here again, and probably will.

It’s Freddy’s steak burgers and frozen custard, what else is their to say? One recommendation is make a garlic burger.

I wanted to try something new and I was excited to visit Freddys. The aroma was amazing, however, the foods were average. I know they are known for their steak burgers so I gave it a try. I’ve ordered the patty melt and it was plain. I wish that there was more to the burger instead of just grilled onions, the steak patty, and a bun, plus cheese. The fries were cute but I was not able to enjoy it because it was too thin. I would recommend to advise clients of any ideas to enhance the flavor if there aren’t any sauce to it. Since it was my first time and I’ve advised the cashier, I wished that there were more information to what is recommended from their experience with their burgers. I might try it next time… I hope it will only get better.

The food overall is pretty good and the ice is above average. My beef is with the drive-through. If you’re 1 – 2 cars deep and they ordered more than ice cream you are screwed. Plan on 15−20min minimum! I timed the last time I was there, 2 cars deep, 17min! Unreal. My dumps don’t even take that long!

Again, came here for something I probably shouldn’t be doing a review on but I had a hot dog. I will be back to try a burger or other items! I like this place because they offer a variety. If you’re not in the mood for a burger, they have hot dogs, chicken tenders, chili and the list goes on. I decided on the Chicago Dog which isn’t something I would get again. Why? Because it tasted like something I could make on my own at home. Plain hot dog with regular bun, not what you see on their website. It came with a pickle, tomatoes, sport peppers, relish, onion, and mustard. I also added jalapenos. Just go to the store by a pack of hot dogs and veggies and there you go. The fries, even with the poor reviews, are actually the type of fries I prefer! Super skinny and unlike any other place I’ve been. Fry sauce is also pretty good here if you’re like me and prefer more mayo. Must come back to try the burgers but also their huge list of frozen custard!

The name says it all steak burger. They are delicious. Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They are juicy and have a crispy crust from the flat top. The fries are thin and crisply and the food is fresh and hot. I have never had any other burger or fries like this. The staff is fast and friendly and cook your food fresh as you order it. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the mood for a burger and fries. They also have a great selection of frozen custard and desserts if you have a sweet tooth.

Mutha fucka the food is good here. Pricey but good. The custard and the famous burger was so damn good. The fries with cheese sauce. Oh shiggity. That burger tho… Service is trying. The lady was nice but didn’t seem to remember subtraction. But oh well.

Get it together Freddies. We attributed our poor first experience to your recent opening and waited 3 months to try again. This time we had a 30+ minute wait in the drive through, got Pepsi instead of Dr. Pepper. Our patty melt was good — if we give Freddies a 3rd try we’ll request extra onions, and the Chicago dogs were good too. This time we tried the peanut butter and banana sundae — should’ve stuck with the turtle — barely any bananas — 4 slices or peanut butter — 3 little pieces of a recess. If Freddies can get some quality controls in place, I think it has the potential to be a family favorite, but right now — it’s just not worth dealing with the abysmal customer service.

Love this place. The food is delicious! The inside is like a 50’s diner. The employees are very nice and considerate. I will be back to eat at this great place over and over again.

I am torn when it comes to Freddys. The décor is that of an old diner, the food seems fresh and taste pretty good and the staff is friendly. My problem is the concept around the food. The burgers are pressed extremely thin and cooked to have a nice crust, they taste OK but thin and crispy isn’t usually what I look for in a burger, I want thick and juicy. The fries are micro shoestring style, cut very small and cooked until crispy, very hard to eat all those tiny fries and again my personal preference is the opposite of what they server, I prefer big substantial fries. I wish they had an alternative to the fries, maybe tater tots or the like. I did find something I really like on the menu, the chili dog. It was made with a good quality dog, came on a unique bun and was smothered with a good amount of tasty chili. Freddys is good if you like their style of food. I will return on occasion if I am going with others but probably not something I will seek out often.

Like the burgers. I normally get the double bacon cheeseburger. I like that the burgers are pressed and the edges get that nice crunch to them. They have shoe string fries which I like and the ability to add Freddys seasoning is nice. We tried the dirt and worms Sunday today also, and while it was good it was kind of plain for my liking and seemed a tad pricey. Overall I like this place and will be back.

I’m not sure where to start with Freddy’s. It has a cool old school diner feel to it similar to Johnny Rockets. I went there with my girlfriend and her brother and his daughter and we ended up getting two burgers with fries. The turn around time for the food was decent with the amount of people that were at the time. I got a burger and the beef patties came out being flat and seem like they were burnt. I’m not exactly sure how they were prepared but it just didn’t look appetizing. Their fry sauce is just and overdone 1000 island sauce and the only thing that really looked good were the fries. I would go again for the fries but not the fry sauce or burger. I was told that the dessert better so many I will try that next time.

About a month ago I went to this establishment with some friends to check it out, I have never been here before. I ordered chicken fingers, fries and a drink. The chicken fingers were ok nothing spectacular, I like mine with a little less breading. I did not like the fries they were as thin as matchsticks and did not taste good. The manager was going table to table asking people if they were enjoying their food. The manager came to our table asked how we liked our food I immediately told him I didn’t like my fries, I thought maybe he would offer me an alternative, isn’t that what good restaurants do? Nope he told me «well a lot of customers love them» then walked off. Why would a manager go around asking customers about the food if he isn’t willing to make them happy? I won’t be going back. Freddie’s is just a bad knock off of culvers.

This really is a 3 ½ star burger joint, I had the californian, it came with lettuce, tomato and onion, slathered in their freddys sauce, pretty sure its just thousand island dressing it was good so whatever. I really enjoy the thin patty its a must to get it a double. I wasnt to impressed with the fries not a fan of the shoestring but the sesoning was great though. I love that they have pink lemonade on tap im a sucker for it. I wish I would’ve made room for ice cream, ill just have to make a separate trip for that. If your a fan of steak and shake you will love this place.

Good fresh burger with lots of shoestring fries, add cheese and get that gooey melted mound of americana. Good place for the family

Just had an original double steak burger. Somewhat underwhelming. Seemed like a bland double double from In N Out. Perhaps ill try something else another time but for $ 6+ for a burger… not too impressed at all. Perhaps theres hope in their custard.

So glad to see another Freddy’s in Utah. Now I have one that’s closer to work. Been to these before and they are amazing. Freddy’s Original Double Steak Burger so good. And the custard is the best around.
